Crystals crystals crystals!!!!!!! On the bugs on the leaves on the stems!!!!
I love this strain! So far the heaviest crystal production in the whole room.
Once those roots hit the water the growth just took off. I finished off the veg nutrients I had used for the past couple grows and have now switch to the Cyco Platinum line. I’ve had good results with their flower formula so I might as well stick with em. I topped em up with 4ml of both grow A and B brining the PPM up to 550.
Both had a bit of heat stress so I raised the light and turned the fan in the room up to high.
I will give that a go, my airstones never stand up on their own anyway. How do you Mangage your waters individually? Is it hard to get the right ec & ph?
@nickp, as you can see from the videos i just posted the air hose just naturally falls to the bottom of the bucket. When you get the bubbles coming up through the roots it acts just like an air stone.
Its not that hard to manage the EC and PH in each bucket its just you need to touch each one instead of a controller bucket. It has its pluses and minuses. Once I add some PH down to my first bucket and then do the rest the water has fully adjusted by the time i get back to it.
If i were to do that in a linked system i'd have to wait for all the water to circulate through all the buckets and then adjust more if needed. This way works for me and its less to go wrong with leaks.
Currently running 4x 5 gal bucket flood and drain system with a control bucket and 33 gal drum resovair (using 26 gal). Thinking about changing to 2.5 gal buckets for better drainage and lower water requirements. Got an air stone in each bucket. Works well once roots hit the water level, top feeding until roots hit the water
@nickp,personally I like staying with the 5 gallon buckets. It gives me a chance to be lazy and not check levels everyday lol
On this grow I just recently changed from air stoves to just placing the air hose in the water. I was getting sick of air stoves getting clogged up and slowly losing their effectiveness. I find the straight hose makes much more agetation on the water surface. I don’t think I’m going back to air stones ever again. I’ll fire up a video of the action it puts off later when I get home from work.
@nickp, I’m using 5 gallon buckets that are not connected. I thought about connecting them all back to a central bucket but because I always do different strains I can’t have everything equal. Some like higher nutrient levels while others can’t take it.
This is more work but I do love a variety.
Check out this weeks video for a better look at the room.
