This week was easy, girls look good. Turned the lights from 24 a day to 18/6 on the 6 day. So 18/6 for 2 days now and definitely see the difference with a rest period. All in all a good week.

This is the second time I have grown indoors and just wondering if the bottom true leaves are burnt? And if so is it the soil? Because I haven't gave anything yet.

I have used Fox Farm Ocean Forest for years and have never had a problem with "too much". Depending on the strain I start providing additional nutrients as early as node 3 (about the age of your plant). At that stage they usually need a bit more nitrogen but only a small amount. Whatever the recommendations on the package of your nutrients use 1/4 to 1/2. Going from your diary I have no idea what you are talking about "Topped it when I seen it was over watered." Over watering is never a reason to top a plant. You need to be especially careful with auto's. They are on a fixed schedule and will flower and finish regardless so it is often best to not do anything that stresses the plant. With a photo period plant you can veg longer to recover from watering mistakes, topping & pruning. With an auto you sometimes want to keep as much plant as possible. More leaves collecting photons and more roots collecting nutrients to make tasty buds.

Finally started to stretch some! Preflower has started. I think I have a calcium issues, not sure, definitely a little nute burn for sure. And I only gave them a quarter of the recommended strength too! Finicky little plants. And I definitely know better than to transplant autoflowers, but I had no choice with one of my plants. The planter wasn't letting her soil dry out. So I was afraid of root rot, and transplanted her into a true 5gal bucket!. Hopefully she will still grow to he potential. Time will tell. Good week and thanks for all the likes people. And thank you growdiaries

Definitely in full flower now. She has stretched a bit from last week, the plant that is mainlined. And the other plant that I had to transplant into the white 5gal bucket is taking off, I know my final yield will suffer some, but I'm new at this and need to make these mistakes for educational purposes lol. I have been making my own ferts. Like banana tea, and egg shell calcium, and compost teas because I'm broke as hell and can't afford any of the professional nutrients. Just how it is. But as far as I'm concerned they look really good. Thanks for all the likes and info. And thank you growdiaries for making this site so simple to use!.. and free lol! Have a great week everyone and remember to have fun with it!... And if anyone sees something I'm missing please tell me?. I don't want to screw these ones up... Thank you all!....

Good week, they are very strong smelling and getting a little bit bigger too so yep it was a good week. Oh and I was gonna put another garden stake in to hold the plant in the blue pot and it cracked in the middle a little bit! Hope it doesn't mess her up? Love and learn. I read somewhere that we do the most damage ourselves fingering around the plants and it really shows with my plants. Will not be so hands on next run. Thank you growdiaries, and all the support and all the likes! I really appreciate them, and all your time y'all took to look at my grow thank you! See ya next week!

This week was eventful for her. She underwent being tied down a little to let all that light in to them little ones below, to kinda control larf. We can all relate. Got some good before pics out off the grow room in natural daylight, and a few after, and then today for the diary. Thankful this growdiaries is here! I've learned so much! Thanks for all the likes this week fellow grower's! Wish you all the best this week. Till next Friday, ✌️

Been a slow week, she's just been fattening up. Giving nothing but water and raw uncut honey 2tsb per gallon and she's been drinking the water right up too! Thanks all my fellow grower's hope you have a great week! Till next Friday, Peace!.

I some how over watered the single plant pot. And just realized it this morning when I gave her a good looksee. So I got the pot raised about 3in of the floor for air to get it dried out. Hopefully I haven't screwed her up to bad?.. time will tell.

@Ogiegrwha, well I don't know a lot about them or have experience with one. Just I know if they are all on same feed schedule for several potters it can not be beneficial if all are different strains or not growing as good to others. That effects nutrition amounts needed as well. So I don't really have a opinion yet.

@Ogiegrwha, I have not done any live streams to date. Substrate or soil type makes a huge difference. 👍

@Roberts, and what is your thoughts on the auto pot set up? Like it? Don't like it? Should I invest? Or build a mock up? Or just stay away from it? Your opinion?....

@Ogiegrwha, your substrate will play a big roll. The 400 watt will be strong enough to do one plant easily. Soil and autos is only good if your doing living soil and then everything is smaller. Will taste better, but way smaller.
Ogiegrwha
Ogiegrwhacommented3 years ago
@Roberts, thanks I appreciate the help. I turned 2 of the lights off, only the 400w mh at 35in away is running now, Hope it helps, and yep I expect to see some sign of pre flower soon! I don't think I'm gonna get much, but that's the way these flowers go sometimes, and I'm not very experienced with indoor growing.. not yet anyway! Lol thank you for the info!

@Ogiegrwha, are you using all 3 lights on your diary list? In vegging if this is your only plant can likely just use one. Try not to top autos in future, they don't have enough time to recoup. I won't on purpose, and I even get some accelerated growth from it being hydro in a potter. Back to light, having less intense light in vegging a bit stimulates growth to catch the light. Leaves will start to stand up when you hit the sweet spot. I am guessing you light has been too strong,, but you will start flowering soon and more intense is important then. Oh yeah,, Solid copper wire is best if sticking in soil. Copper won't harm plant or soil.
