Can’t wait to start this project! Running 3 different strains from FastBuds that were my prize for winning newbie of the month.
This diary will follow the progress of Purple Punch Auto!
I was hoping to hold off until my new FC-E 3000 shows up, but after speaking with the company I ordered through I will have the start the germination/seedling phase under the TS 1000 until it arrives.
Week 1 Day 1 As with Stardawg, Purple Punch germinated extremely fast, producing a 3cm tap root in less that 48 hours, so all three were planted a day earlier than I wanted. Planted in 4 gallon fabric pots with Fox Farms Happy Frog soil. Initial watering was PH 6.34.
Week 1 Day 2 Purple Punch is the first one up!
Week 1 Day 3 The Mars Hydro FC-E 3000 has arrived! Replacing the TS 1000
Week 2 Day 2 Purple Punch is coming along nicely and is the largest of the 3 plants so far. The FC-E 3000 seems to be treating these ladies very well!
Week 2 Day 4 Purple Punch is staying the course, about 24 hours ahead of Stardawg as that was the difference between poking through the soil
Week 3 Day 1 Purple Punch is growing wonderfully. No hiccups yet and is growing at a very nice pace, the nodes are growing evenly, I’m thoroughly impressed with this plant so far.
Week 3 Day 5 Purple Punch is looking great!
Week 4 Day 1 Purple Punch is continuing to thrive under the FC-E 3000. This plant has had very consistent growth and has been amazing so far. No deficiencies yet, will more than likely start feeding very weak strength nutrients this week.
Week 5 Day 1 This week the plant is continuing to increase in size and is looking good. The plant has transitioned into flower. I have started adding the holland secret line from future harvest.
Week 5 Day 5 Purple Punch is looking amazing. Growing much thicker than Stardawg which I'm sure is just strain traits. I did cut off all of the fan leaves at the main stem and ties the branches back to help allow light into the more central portions of the plant.
Week 6 Day 2 Purple Punch is staying healthy, and is continuing to progress through flower nicely. There was a couple leaves showing deficiencies so I have removed them. Aside from that she is getting much larger every day.
Week 6 Day 6 Add a few progression pics of Purple Punch flowering. Added Future Harvest Bud Start and Calnesium to the feeding of the 3 part Holland Secret line.
Week 7 Day 2 Purple Punch is continuing through flower very nicely. It is very noticeably bushier than the others so will need to do some light defoliation this week at some point.
Week 8 Day 1 Purple Punch is looking very bushy and bulky. There is some yellowing in the leaves but judging by the overall aesthetics of the plant I’m not concerned.
Week 9 Day 2 Purple Punch is continuing along through flower nicely. Being that she is much bushier than her counter parts in the same tent I've had to adjust her water intake as she has been starting to wilt prior to the scheduled feeding time the have been on for the past several weeks. Aside from that the bud production is looking great and can't wait to sample this plant!
Week 10 Day 1 Purple Punch is continuing through flower nicely and I will be adding the final nutrient to her mix with Bud Boom by Future Harvest to really help her bulk up in her final couple weeks.
Week 10 Day 2 Added trichome photos
Week 11 Day 2 Purple Punch is looking great! She appears to be entering the final stages of her cycle as the leaves start to turn yellow from absorbing all her nutrients. Harvest is planned for roughly 14 days from now.
Week 12 Day 1 Purple Punch is in the home stretch. The leaves are starting to lose their colour and die off as the plant gets ready for harvest next weekend. The trichomes are looking very nice, milky with amber scattered throughout, unfortunately iphone cameras are awful for taking these photos and try to automatically correct the brightness etc making the trich’s look like a blur.
Week 12 Day 7 Lights are out! Harvest is this Sunday
The plant was amazing from start to finish, couldn’t be happier with Fast Buds products, and can’t wait to grow these strains and other by them again!
The FC-E 3000 by Mars Hydro was an awesome upgrade to my 3x3 and produced the best buds I’ve personally grown so far!
Future Harvest nutrients have once again produced amazing and healthy plants.
@JamMAKEcan, the 3 strains I got to pick for my newbie of the month win arrived and the larger tent is free! Haha might as well give’em all a go. Got that photo fem violator kush going rn tho! Definitely love those photoperiods, being able to main-line and try other techniques is a lot of fun.
@Mr_Weeds_Autos, yes im very happy with all three of the fastbuds strains im currently growing, very big and dense buds, cant wait to weigh these and see what I get!
