My light is an LED sitting around 8.66inch (22cm) above my plants. The light is cool and no excess heat is reaching the plants, but is this still too low?

Does not seem like it. When the light is too close, the leaves, will curl upward and yours look fine.

BuddyMcbudface New leaves are starting to emerge from seedlings. The LSD-25 has shown some purpling in the stem which is a good sign :D
