All three are starting to pop, getting ready to plant and wait to determine sex! Plants are Humboldt Seed Company Blueberry Muffin crossed with Watermelon. Not sure if anyone has seen this HSC strain in the past, but I was given these seeds from a friends farm in California and the bag they traveled in was hand labeled BBM x Watermelon. Please let me know if anyone has seen the strain in the past. Very excited to see how they turn out!!!
No nutrients yet and not much water to start… coming along good but with a little stretch. I have a heavier light on so hopefully it will stop the stretching and bush up a bit! Overall it will be fun to play with some Humboldt Seed Company genetics!! The finished product looks yum!!
Here we go HSC blueberry muffins!!!
No nutrients this week but the growth has been taking off. Should be ready for a small dose of nutrients next feed. They are already bushing up and I’m thinking there should be some females in the mix. Topped all three, although one was more of a FIM than a top lol. They are drinking much faster and need water ever 2-3 days at this point. Almost time to move them to some 5 gal containers until I can clearly sex the babies. Seeds are nice and strong, thank you HSC for the genetics! I hope I get nice colors our of this strain, because my FastBuds are really coloring up!!! Thanks for reading and any advice or comments always welcome!!
Just vegging these three Blueberry Muffin seeds until I am able to tell sex. It looks like 2 of the plants may be male so I may just be stuck with one to grow and clone.
Threw away 2 of the three BBM seeds that I popped because they started showing male parts. The remaining plant was planted up into a gallon pot to wait and see if I get the pistils showing up. Still worried this one could come out male, but will be flipping to 12-12 soon and planting up into a 7 gallon fabric pot.
Just another week of vegging and feeding, waiting to make sure the last remaining plant I have is female. I think the male parts would have shown already if it was male, but you never really know until flip time. I’m planning on up-planting the remaining plant I have to a 7 gallon fabric pot and flipping it to 12-12 because I don’t have tent space for a massive beast of a photoperiod. Excited to see if this one is female (which I really think it is fingers crossed!).
@Frosty_Organics, HLG are the best lights around… if anyone is looking to set up a commercial project I stress you to reach out to HLG for lighting info! Great company, amazing lights, and best customer service around!
Hey, i like your grow. I’m also growing som bbm and i ended up with two of my plants having really odd leaf structure. I also noticed very little side branching. Did you have any of these issues?
