Freebie seed from The Attitude Seedbank on my last order. Going to veg it out with another G13 photoperiod freebie alongside 2 Dinafem's Dinamed Kush CBD Autoflowering plants. Once the auto's are finished, I will switch these into flower and continue from there. May not update every week as there will be a lot of Vegging time. Cheers, m0use

This weeks been ok, was away for most of it and had someone looking after the plants. This plant has had a bit of trouble, no idea what happened to its leafs, when I left it was looking fine, seems to only be this one plant, I'm guessing water was left on the leaves and they burnt from the prism effects of the lights. Added in a big pot of water and ultrasonic diffuser to boost in humidity. Can remove this when the plants get transplanted in their own pots, they will then maintain a solid 65%RH Also no idea the ratio of dry amendments in the mix I used when potting these seeds, guessed from my previous grow from my old notes. Nothing else to note.

This week was all right. Did a topping at the beginning of the week as well as a water based inoculant using miicrobial mass pro and transplanter MS-CS root rescue. added them into the watering reservoir and put in a air stone to keep it oxygenated. I let that run for 24 hrs before watering. It seems the roots on this one where not as strong as the G13 Blue Cindy but they will find their way out into the slightly bigger container. I would have put them in bigger pots but I was short on medium and did not want to make a fresh batch up. The issues with nutrients or PH seemed to have resolved. still not sure what one it was. I had some left over Myke so I decided to use it on this, put a layer in the hole before transplanting it. I don't water everyday and just guess at the watering measurements I'm using. web links to the products I used as they are not in the system here, https://www.rootrescue.com/files/TransplanterMS-CSExampleLabel.pdf https://miimhort.com/ https://www.usemyke.com/en-ca/products/natural-growth-enhancers/myke-flowers/

Two days after her transplant I topped her again an added in some LST. These can be seen in the early top/lst titled photos. They have both taken very well to early LST and topping. I plan on topping them a few more times with LST to create a large amount of centralized colas. I have also stripped her of any smaller side branches under the main nodes that have been topped. Give the damaged this one received before it has bounced back quite well. I was noticing adding in the air stone to my watering reservoir for increased oxygenation caused the waters PH to rise. The PH was going up and making it harder to go back down. I did a little test as well and made a chart that I attached to my diary. It seems adding in a air stone will spike the waters PH and keep it up. You will need a substantial amount more phosphoric acid to keep the levels down. I tested this on approx 700ml of water, my smaller reservoir holds 4L and larger one holds 12L. With the 4L reservoir I had to add 3x-4x times more acid to bring it back down towards 6.5 ideal PH. With this done, I am not noticing any new issues on the growth of the plants and they are looking pretty great. I will be using air stones now to help oxygenate the water and will adjust PH respectfully. Will do a U•CANN by Gaia Green nutrient top up in another 2weeks but next watering I will add in some extras. Using very small amounts of Ascorbic Acid to neutralize the chloramine in the city's tap water. Nothing else to really report.

This week has been ok for this plant. I gave it 1tsp or 5ml topping of U•CANN by Gaia Green Herb Thrive as the pot they where transferred into was not all that much bigger then before, so they needed some extra food. This plant did not like it as much and got some nutrient burn. Could have been from it needing more water or that it was more sensitive to the feeding. classic signs of nutrition burn but they only appeared this morning after I forgot to water yesterday. Continuing the work on LST and topping them when need. I have 8 mains right now and next week I will have 16 or the beginning of 16. No idea where else Ill go with this. The g13 plants desperately need a transplant but I have no medium left I have to get on that and make some up. I wish the stuff I left outside was thawed and I could just toss it in a pressure cooker for two hours to freshen it up a bit. I think I will be purchasing some air pots to play aorund with. 3gal or 1gal from a local hydro store and testing it on these ones. I've asked a question the other week about fabric vs air pots and want to experience it for my self. Can always use them to start a new tree for my relatives place, they are excellent for that.

Topped them again and continuing to mainline them, finding that out of the two new shoots that form sometimes one of them is weaker then the other. dwarfed even. Got in the MIIM sample order, won't be using the ChitoSal on these ones until they are in flower. Gave the plant a little trim as well, get ride of some burnt tips. I let it dry out to much and its soil started burning them. This plant as said in previous weeks is a lot more sensitive to things then the other g13 seed. Started to notice that the plant was getting pink/purple stems. Don't know if its a deficiency, from the LST or LED's so added in a bit of feed won't hurt it much.

ok, so I finally transplanted them into the larger fabric pots. I wanted to move them into 5gal but I ran out of perlite and vermiculite so made a half batch and put then in the 3gal pots instead. they where not to hard to remove from the pots, sprinkled them with some Dynomyco and Myke and topped off the pots. Fortified the mix with some BioSol Seaweed & Shrimp compost as well as a 3:1 ratio of U•CANN by Gaia Green Herb Thrive : U•CANN by Gaia Green Abundant Bloom. The root mass was a bit better looking on the other plant but still good for this one. Will be watering again with microbial mass and transplanter ms-cs again this week as its freshly transplanted. vs once every two weeks. May repeat this one more extra week as well to help roots develop.

These g13 branded plants are starting to turn it aorund after a week from transplant. The new growth is lush and green, some of the old growth continued dying off so I picked most of it off. Still not impressed with this strain vs the blue cindy. We well see how it fairs come flower time. should be flipping in the next 3 weeks.

Well this plant has come aorund a fair bit. I'm starting to be happy with it. I think it was getting to much light and it was causing it to burn up, I confirmed my lights where to low and reset to back to 38. may go up a bit more in the future undecided yet. Took off a few tops on this one, it should help it catch up to the the other g13 plant in terms of potential bud sites vs height as its taller already. I took notice that the plants where looking like they needed some extra magnesium, gave them some and they have green up a lot since that. I will have to make a note that U•CANN by Gaia Green is great but needs a bit more magnesium for this plant. Not so much in terms of smells coming off of this one yet. the smells I do get from stem rubbing are that of an old man rolled in weed. bit disappointing but it is what it is. Have noticed a bit of sex on it but only one one branch, I think this will be more pronounced by next week.

Transplant and feeding week. Moved them to a 16L pouch, thought I had 22L but I did not and only other option was 30L. Went against that as I want to start these in flower in two weeks and get this grow over with and make room for SOG of a test batch of seeds. Bit confused what I should have done if topdressing and transplanting at the same time. Transplanting guideline says new soil should have 2-4tbsp per gal of medium and topdressing says 1-2tbsp per gal of existing medium. I just made a bit more of the transplanting mix and put a later on top in conjunction with on the side and bottom of the pot. Sadly these pots where only an inch wider and 4 inches taller. would much rather they have same height and just more width. lesson learned for next time. going from 3.8L to 12L to 30L. or in root pouch sizes #1 to #3 to #7 in total 126ml of Herb Thrive and 45ml of Abundant Bloom dived between two pots in 15l of extra soil. 75/25 mix

This week has been hands off, just watering and letting it grow up into the light. Will be trying a min top dressing every week for the beginning of flower to see if that helps with the stretch and extra nutrients needed, G13 Labs has told me this will stretch about 200% For the top dress will do 1/3 the regular amount and in a 50/50 mix then 25/75 mix of 5-4-5 2-7-7 for the first week then the following. I'm now expecting this plant to outperform the blue cindy now that it is a bit bigger. Despite me shitting on it in the past. Its smell is starting to come out as well. Hopefully this will blossom into something magical when in flower but not holding my breath might just be a mild pheno.

Alright this week was something fun. Gave the plants a well needed defoliation, maybe over did it a bit but they bounced back just fine. with how they where before I would have ran into some issues with WPM or bud rot just not enough airflow to me, I also need a 2nd tent fan. One more week till switching to flower. Going to start to thread them into the net all this week and next then switch to flower on Sunday. Should be a nice explosion in growth. Will also be using the ChitoSal product from MIIM next week. It is recommended to do it once week before 12/12 switch and the first two applications are to be a foliar spray. Also giving them 1/3 their topdressing in weekly increments aorund switch to flower, will help spread out the feeding vs all at once. notice a lot of borderline N toxicity with U•CANN by Gaia Green. Was stripping off some extra dark leaves. The first two weeks are a 50/50 mix of Herb Thrive/Abundant Bloom then after that it is 25/75 Herb Thrive/Abundant Bloom. When the 1/3 feeding is done in 3 weeks they will go down to 1/4 per week til end of flower, stopping at 3 weeks out from harvest and just giving them water with BSM and LAB, this has yet to be created, just starting the fermenting process. Should be ready for next week if all goes well and I follow my feeding schedule I made. I also took some small clones 2 weeks back and they have rooted into some containers, they are the little one on my grey pants and then in the brown mushroom containers. When stripping them I took a bunch of other clones to start, will give them out to my friends and family. maybe gorilla grow some in the area should have about 15 if all works out. As I'm wanting to only grow CBD/CBG dominate strains I will not be growing these clones outdoors this year. Plus I have some seeds coming in from a few friends on GD that I need to run.

Stretch estimated at 200%, is that of the entire plants length or just whats vertical in the top canopy? I used some mainline, topping & lst techniques, not a lot of vertical growth for its age but a good amount of horizontal. Curious to how it relates. Thoughts, ideas?

The entire plants length. If you have 50cm branches, expect them to be 100cm by the end of the "stretch", however, this is only a rough guide with many factors involved.

Switched the plants into flower the last two days of this week so it has been in flower now for two days now. Will keep the week reflecting veg at 18/6 given the majority of the days it was on this schedule. Gave the plants their first application of ChitoSal in the form of foliar spray as per its directions. Moved the lights up to 70cm till plants where dry to avoid any burning and they did alright. prepared the mini top dressing of 1/3 the monthly amount to space out the initial shock of it all at once. Still the 50/50 mix and next week is the 25/75 mix of grow/bloom 5-4-5 & 2-7-7. 50/50 mix coming in at 3.5-5.5-5.5 25/75 mix coming in at 2.75-6.25-6.5 Following this last week of the 1/3 monthly feeding over three weeks I will go down to 1/4 monthly feeding every week till the last 3rd week and only use water with its added amendments I have been using, also plan on upping the molasses last few weeks in flower for a boot in thickness/plumpness. I have also completed my LAB serum for the grow by culturing the bacteria. This will be introduced on next weeks schedule and done every other week. I also made a mini wheel of cheese from the leftover curd, taste like a mildly slated feta with a Parmesan cheesy smell :D May upload this process with photos in the week I am drying the buds before harvest is entered. Found some little creatures when watering them this morning. Have identified them as Springtails and they are none threatening to the plants health. If the populations gets out of hand I will apply some nematodes to the top soil to knock them back. guessing they came with the compost product I mixed into the grow with the last transplant and topdressings. They eat mold so I'm not to upset with them. Lastly I put the clones that where sitting in water in their first mini homes. They all got dipped in IBA 0.1% rooting powder and the ones that I all ready had rooted got a top dress of compost. The two lager containers of two plants are Blue Cindy "two plants one container previously rooted" all the smaller ones are Maltezerz "one plant previously rooted"

Week has been good, it had the last of the 1/3 strength feedings this week. It was in the ratio of 25/75 vs 50/50 of the weeks previous, Will be moving into the 1/4 strength feedings next week. I may increase this ratio if the plants look like they want more, should not be an issues though if my calculations were correct. I have noticed they are not getting the same nitrogen toxicity as I found they got in veg, good colour on the leaves so maybe this is the way I do it moving forward. I forgot to include the ChitoSal photos last week when I sprayed them so I'm putting them into this weeks entry. Only one more foliar feeding left before it goes into the water regime, this is where I feel it will be most effective, I'm predicting a increase in the plants terpenes and smells will happen when I do this. They have been drinking more, around 2L every 2-3 days so that's a good sign. Made a mistake on the LAB serum last week, it is to be added into the water on the alternate week of when I add in MIIM Miicrobial Mas, so next week it will be added in. got ahead of myself there. Some stretching happening, its not as vigorous as I thought it would be but I still have one to one and half more weeks to go before its done the stretching phase. I may still see a abundance of growth to match my expectations. Will monitor its length from the SCROG net vs soil as its easier to measure. 33cm from SCROG net to base of plant 13cm from SCROG net to tip of plant Total 46cm for week one of flower. Clones are doing alright. the days are warm so I am putting them outside when the sun is out to get them used to the future environment they will grow in.

This week has been on par with the rest, watering and feeding as per my schedule. Introduced the LAB Serum into the grow this week. not expecting massive performance but will see how its working out in the following weeks. ChitoSal had its first root base feeding as well this week. used it at 2ml/l vs 2.5 like suggested in combination with the LAB Serum. One thing to note with the LAB Serum it will lower your waters PH a great deal and it should be balanced to aorund 7.0 before adding in. I do not aerate with the serum in the water I add it after and feed right away. Maltezerz has been vigorous vs its roommate Blue Cindy in terms of stretching, its putting a good amount of distance between nodes and adding in space. Still looking forward to the smells coming out of the plant with LAB Serum and ChitoSal now added in. Did a bit of defoliation under the scrog net, seems it started to regrow out of its old pinched off locations. also took out some lower popcorn/larf nug sites just below the net. Will monitor its length from the SCROG net vs soil as its easier to measure. 33cm from SCROG net to base of plant 25cm from SCROG net to tip of plant Total 58cm for week two of flower. +12cm "good amount stretch for me" Clones are doing alright. the days are warm so I am putting them outside when the sun is out to get them used to the future environment they will grow in. Lowered the lights to aorund 25cm or 10" vs 38cm or 15" before.

This week has been pretty chill, nothing major to report. They are still stretching well, slowing down a bit. I expect them to gain a bit more height before harvest but what I got now is my main plant. I made a mistake last week and forgot to change the feeding amounts listed. Before it was 10.5ml Grow & 31.5ml Bloom but should have reflected the 1/4 strength monthly. not the 1/3 monthly. It has since been corrected to 8ml Grow & 24ml Bloom. The smell is still not as strong as I was thinking it would be. Found the Blue Cindy sister is also not as fragrant either. I'm wondering if this is because I am giving them to much water or maybe I am just used to it by now. Only time will tell. My friends group said nothing to worry about, its normal. I also forgot that I am running the extractor 100% if the time on low so its never building up in concentration then getting filtered out via activated carbon. Will monitor its length from the SCROG net vs soil as its easier to measure. 33cm from SCROG net to base of plant 30cm from SCROG net to tip of plant Total 63cm for week three of flower. +5cm from Last Week "small amount stretch for me but expected to slow down now" Planted up some new clones from a trimming I did a week or so ago. They soaked in the water a bit to long for my liking but maybe that will help them root. The new ones are showing signs of flowering so the light will reverse them in time. I also moved the 2 x 18w light bars back into the main tent as I chopped the Dinafem Dinamed CBD Kush project.

This week was pretty standard, I found out with the help of a friend the amount of magnesium I was feeding my plants was way to much. about 4x as much as they should have had. so they will no longer be getting any extra added magnesium. I read that it can stunt plant growth in excess but I don't know if that happened here, Plucked a few leaves off that where blocking other bid sites and removed some in the middle to help airflow. I was thinking about purchasing a 2nd fan for the tent but the ones I want are out of stock so I feel its best to use a regular none tent fan and just rig it up to a tent pole for now. Starting to see more frost on the sugar leaves and some good bud development on this one. The sister Blue Cindy is doing better but not as tall. Maybe in time they will even out or switch sides. Will monitor its length from the SCROG net vs soil as its easier to measure. 33cm from SCROG net to base of plant 31cm from SCROG net to tip of plant Total 64cm for week four of flower. +1cm from Last Week "pretty much slowed down now almost to zero" The clones are doing well considering I have ignored them mostly. Some yellowing in the leaves but nothing to worry about just yet. Have not lost a single clone in this project. I'm impressed with my self for that. Could also be this strain is really easy to clone as well.

Forgot to take photos of the topdressing this week. Used the one from a few weeks prior for the diary entry. Everything is going well and have not noticed much of anything. Saw one or two browned pistil tips on this plant. first ones that I'm noticing. Think I am now in the stretch where I will just be waiting for the plant to bulk up and should not notice anything to drastic happening unless it hits a toxicity or deficiency. Will monitor its length from the SCROG net vs soil as its easier to measure. 33cm from SCROG net to base of plant 31.5cm from SCROG net to tip of plant Total 64.5cm for week five of flower. +0.5cm from Last Week The clones got a little beat up looking ruff and will need some feed soon. I plan on using some basic liquid nutrients. Also topped the tallest blue cindy clone.

This week was ok, Been noticing some lower leaves getting spent and dying. They are shrivelling at the base of the leaf where it connects to the petiole then progressing to the tip. Normally nitrogen just yellows and falls off, I feel this is from the extra Magnesium I gave them. Messing with the EC in the soil. Added in an extra 10ml of the U•CANN 5-4-5 Herb Thrive Have also been giving them more water lately and they seem to be loving it. Thirsty ones it seems. The smells have also been really popping now and feels like a normal amount now, I am quite happy with this. Moving my hands in between the nodes in the canopy they will get quite sticky :D Will monitor its length from the SCROG net vs soil as its easier to measure. 33cm from SCROG net to base of plant 32cm from SCROG net to tip of plant Total 65cm for week six of flower. +0.5cm from Last Week Clones are fine, still looking sad, did not get any liquid fertilizer to give them food yet, not to concerned for it, more of a project to see if I could do it vs need/want them.

Still having issues with the yellowing of leaves, been told this is because they are end of their life, but I don't think they are that close yet. IDK, could be wrong. I added insect frass only as the last top dressing this plant will get. Still has a high dose Black Strap Molasses lined up and some more ChitoSal before its chopped. The small amount of runoff that came out of the pots, I put a PH strip on it and noticed the PH was aorund 6.2. Giving it just aerated water no PH balance to it to try and boost this up to 6.5. I feel this was from all the lactobacteria I added into the medium. May need to chop a week or two earlier if this keeps up. I also noticed some purpleing on the leaves, the temps get down to 17/19c at night. so they are starting to turn :D Will monitor its length from the SCROG net vs soil as its easier to measure. 33cm from SCROG net to base of plant 33cm from SCROG net to tip of plant Total 66cm for week seven of flower. +1cm from Last Week Clones are fine did not take their photo this week, nothing is happening with them anyway. If I start to grow them out doubt I'll start a new diary with them. Maybe revegging this plant I'll add a new diary.

The crisping of the leaves where bothering me so I decided to do a hard flush of the plants to lower what I think was a EC issue. I was also wondering about the PH and it was on point at 6.8 from the flush water I gathered. I do not own a EC pen so could not monitor that aspect of it. It looks like it may have helped a bit. Hard to tell at this point the death has slowed a lot and I am seeing fading signs that I am used to seeing so it makes me feel a bit better. I think I have stunted this growth a bit because of this mishap but should still be a good harvest. The soils temp is getting down to 12c at night, The ambient air temps of the tent are aorund 15-18 at night though. Good for adding colour into the fade. During the say its keep steady around 26-27. Starting to smell more and more and loving every time I open the tent. Given they are stuck in a scrog net trying to remove the bottom trays to empty them cause them to be rustled a bit and they released a lot of lovely scents. I am in the last week or two now. Will be giving them one more heavy molasses feeding and then nothing else. They got their last ChitoSal and I think it made this plant more frosty then the Blue Cindy, would really need a side by side to confirm if its working at all. Will monitor its length from the SCROG net vs soil as its easier to measure. 33cm from SCROG net to base of plant 33cm from SCROG net to tip of plant Total 66cm for week eight of flower. +/-0cm from Last Week, all done growing now Just like last week I am no longer posting about the clones in this diary. Maybe give them a recap blurb in the harvest entry.

The time is finally here to post the harvest. I waited till it was all done and dry before updating the dairy so will add in the dry weights next on the 2nd half of the harvest entry. Had some ups and downs with this plant. mainly the extreme yellowing that was happening. I should have treated this faster with a flush but was super reluctant and I feel this has suffered in the end. The top best looking buds could have been larger and the lower ones could have been thicker. There is some smells with this plant but they are not pronounced. Just smells like mild basic weed, this would be one reason not to grow it, however, the crystals on this plant have been the most I've ever grown before. When trimming them every time the scissors snipped or the brush stroked I saw some falling down onto the tray. This plant would be great for making hash. had a good little ball of finger hash at the end of it and will be giving that to my friends to smoke or make a strong edible with. I don't plan on growing this strain out again, the lack of smells and the fact I'm only trying to grow cbd dominate plants is the main reason. If my friends really like this I have some clones so can always give them some. Speaking of clones they are doing well outside, greened up a lot and showing signs of revegging. Took some photos of the weed hang drying on day 1 in the tent and a week later to show how much they shrink. most of the lower growth is quite larfy but will make good edibles or hash, that will be a fun project to do and may include that in my projects diary. That's about all I can think of if you have any questions just ask. m0use Disclaimers: 1. I have divided the total watts of light in half, 300w(150w) for this diary. It will accurately reflect the g/w ratio as the two plants growing in this tent are listed in two separate diaries. 2. I include any shake/trim in my gross totals as I use them to make edibles. 3. I did not follow any proper ways of listing my nutrients. Some are ml/l of total solution watered, others ml/l of total medium and some are just the total amounts I added, not as a ratio. I converted the cents into dollar amounts beforehand to avoid dividing by 100. 8.2c/h = 0.082$/h 438h * 0.17c/kwh = $74.46kw * 0.15kw = $11.17 on peak 522h * 0.113c/kwh = $58.99kw *0.15kw = $8.85 mid peak 1,272h * 0.082c/kwh = $104.30kw *0.15kw = $15.65 off peak The "h" hours and "kw" kilowatts cancel out and we are left with a value of $ dollars per peak period, add all the peak periods up and you get your total cost of running the lights in dollars. $11.17 + $8.85 + $15.65 = $35.67 for the grow light only. My light grew for 20 weeks and 4 days, or 144 days. almost 21 weeks total. $35.67 / 144d = 0.2477$/d average of about 25c a day in electricity 337.2kw for the entire grow. Using the regular calculation of grams harvested divided by watts used is not accurate to me, it does not account for all the time the lamps are on, the length of grow to the over all cost. The calculation that makes sense to me is this, harvested dry weight of usable cannabis buds/trim/keif/whatever in grams divided by total kw used. Could also combine it with grams per total single use costs “anything you used only for this grow and wont reuse in the next, or fractions of multi use items like fertilizers if they ½ full” and see how much you’re investing per gram. "kw" ÷ "g" = kw/g "$" ÷ "g" = $/g I have harvested 5.34oz or 151.6g on 337.2kw. 337.2kw ÷151.6g = 2.22 kw/g of usable cannabis. This is not an ideal ratio for me and looks like a lot of energy waste happened from the extended veg period. $35.67 ÷ 151.6g = 0.24c/g It cost 24c/g when comparing total electricity cost to gross yield, almost identical to the comparison of total electrical cost to the number of days in the grow 25c/day. Neat! legend, kwh = kilowatt per hour kw = kilowatt w = watt h = hour c = cents $ = dollars d = day LED= Light Emitting Diode
