On December 3rd I soaked the seed in dechlorinated water for roughly 24 hours. She had popped and exposed her tap root, I then set her into damp paper towel within a ziplock bag and then placed in a warm dark place for another day and a half. I then planted her into a 7 gallon pot filled with fox farm ocean forest soil.

Day 1 She popped out of the soil without her shell attached. I watered her lightly with dechlorinated water and set my light to 33 inches. Day 4 Watered lightly with dechlorinated water and lowered the light to 29 inches. Current height is 1 and 3/4 inches. Day 5 I think my growing conditions might be a little dryer then I'd like. I gave her another drink this morning and misted the top layer of soil. I've only been giving her around an ounce and a half of water at a time so that's probably contributing to her drying out so quickly. She seems to be growing about an inch a day. Day 7 Checked on her this morning and noticed she's a little light colored in her new growth. The soil is still damp around her so I raised the light a few inches and will hold off on watering.

Day 8 Lightly watered again this morning. Her color seems to be evening out some, relieving me of some stresses. She is growing noticable amounts each day. My biggest problem is going to be keeping the humidity in a place the plant likes it. She's not in a tent, but in behind a room divider in my living room. Temps should be fine but I may have trouble keeping her humid over the next few months. Day 10 She is just over 3", with first three pronged leafs emerging today. Continuing to water the same as last week. No issues as of right now. Day 11 The yellowing seems to be dissipating. Growing so fast! Had some trouble keeping track of the days! Got it all figured out now. Lmao! Day 13 The be growth is emerging a lighter green then I'd like. I lowered the light to 24" and am going to hold off on watering. Day 14 More new growth emerging. The color has seemed to fix it's self. For now at least. Lightly watered. ph set to around 6.3

First off, I pulled a few big noob moves I'd like to address. When I initially started my diary I had never used the platform before, so it was all very new to me. I didn't start the diary until the seed had sprouted and hadn't documented the germination process, so I stupidly included the whole first week in the germination stage, week one was actually week two, and I didn't realize my mistake until day fourteen when it eventually clicked for me. I tried to edit the weeks in my diary, add in week two and move the other info up to week one, and so on. But somehow I managed to completely mess it all up, and had to delete the diary and start fresh. Day 15 So for all of week two I was under watering my plant thinking it was only week one. *facepalm* She looked a little weak, although she continued to grow, I feel she probably got a little stressed out due to this and may have stunted a tad. So because of that confusion, and not watering as much as I should have, my soil dried out completely. I was only dripping a few oz.s of water around the plant and spraying the top to keep it moist, and it got so dry it was repelling water. Not only does this make it difficult to re hydrate, it's bad for the micro organisms in the soil. So I was pretty disappointed in my self when I noticed this. To remedy this, and hopefully save my baby, I am wetting it as best I can. Watering more out to the edges away from the plant, trying to balance getting it moist again and not over watering. Because the would really sting at this point. Light set to 18" Day 16 The soil has seemed to keep its moisture content over night. I'm thinking I'll have to water around one liter or maybe two every watering due to the large pot size and dry environment. The plant is sitting around 5" tall, but beefing up and shooting out new growth almost every day. The internodal spacing seems tight. At this point I am accepting shes probably a week behind on growth and hoping I see some improvements after her first feed. Day 19 Added in a new, much quieter fan, a thermometer, and a hygrometer. My predictions on the temperatures seem to be pretty spot on and the humidity isn't as bad as I thought. Hovering between 40-60%Rh. The plant looks much happier. The stalk is thickening up, and side branches are starting to reach up. Day 20 Just watered 2 liters mixed with 1/8th of a tsp of fish fertilizer NPK 2-3-0 (1/16th strength dose) pH 6.3 25 degrees Celsius, 55% rH, light set to 18" above canopy. Day 21 The plant definitely responded to the light feeding. The leaves have thickened up and darkened just a bit. It will probably be straight water over the next few days. Mid day the temps are around 27 degrees celsius and the rH is just above 60%. Over all the plant looks happy. It has slowed growing vertically at this point, sitting just under 6 inches. But has quadrupled its size width ways, and continued to produce side branching. The stalk is thicker then I expected near the end of week 3 so I may not LST in the traditional sense. I might let her tree out, moving all the side arms around in her in a circle. I may rig up a ring around the base of the soil to aid in this. Day 22 Checked on her this morning. Temps and humidity seem to be pretty steady. Soil is retaining moisture again. The amount of growth this week is unreal. The stem was getting thicker and looking woody so I figured LST was out the question. But she was leaning to one side so I figured she was trying to tell me something. Well I guess she was! This plant is made of rubber. She easily took a 90° bend and would have gone more. But I figured I can keep adjusting as time goes on. No need to push her to the limits on day one of traning. Week 3 was a lot less stressful. I figured out a few problems and so far it seems I have fixed them for now. Going to start feeding again in week 4 with more fish fertilizer. Then going to start adding some dry amendments to get ready for flowering towards the end of week four or beginning of week 5. It should take a week for the nutrients to become available to the plant I'd like to hit her on the sweet spot so the nutes are there when she needs them.

Day 22 The plant has lifted herself towards the light as best she could. I pulled the restraints a little tighter opening up the undergrowth the the light. Re measured the hight of the plant while tied down and adjusted the light to 18". Watered with 2 liters of dechlorinated water pH around 6.3 Day 23 No water today. Leaves have darkened and look like they may start to claw. It's going to be straight water for the next bit, and I may water until I get a bit more run off then normal. The soil should be rich enough with nitrogen to last up until flower I think. Day 24 Leaves seem to be reverting back to normal. She started to claw slightly yesterday. I gave her 1 liter of dechlorinated water pH'd to around 6.3. I'll probably give her the other liter of water later on today. I continue to tie her down. Side branches are reaching out and it will soon be time to start tying them down as well. Day 25 I untied her last night. As of this morning she seems to be keeping her shape. When the side branches reach just a little more I'm going to start tying them down, opening up and spreading out the canopy. No water today. The leaves are still a little clawed, but she has seemed to calm down some. So I hope this will fix it's self over the next few weeks. I may not need to add any Nitrogen for the rest of the grow. But I'm keeping a sharp eye on her for any signs. Day 26 I'm 95% sure my problem is over watering and not nitrogen toxicity. She clawed slightly more when I watered and there are no burnt tips or other signs of N toxicity. I'm going to hold off on watering until I see a difference in the leaves. My rH has been just over 50% all day. I airate my water to evaporate the clorine a little faster. I've moved this into the grow space in hopes it will bring the rH up a bit. The plant also seems to be straightening it's leaves out and they're drooping less. I can't believe after under watering for a week that I managed to over water. But I'm just glad it's not looking like nitrogen toxicity. Day 27 The leaves seem to be getting better. I had to pluck off four of the lowest shade leaves as they were touching the ground and mostly covered by the leaves above. The side branches are reaching upwards. I tucked a couple shade leaves allowing the side branches to shoot above them. No water today. The very top of the soil is dry but the first inch is still moist. When I stuck my finger in to check I felt roots. I did this near the outer edge of the container. 25° celsius/ 50%rH Day 28 The last day of week four and I've bounced around on what I wanted to do with this plant more then I'd of liked to. I kind of gave up on bending her over because the internodal spacing is so tight at the beginning of the week, and today I picked off a couple shade leaves and tied down all the side branches, moving them all into their own spots spreading out the tops some. Lightly watered today. Less then 1 liter I'd say. pH 6.3ish and rH is between 50-60%.

Day 29 I continued to adjust the ties today, moving the side branches around a bit into better positions and bending the top over on a 90° angle. I removed two more big shade leaves to expose the branches beneath to more light. No water today. Temps around 25° celsius, 55% rH, light set to 18" above the canopy. Day 30 Adjusted a few ties again today and tucked a few leave. She's starting to grow up again. Watered around half one liter pH around 6.3 temps went down bellow 25 today but came back up and the rH is around 50%. I've noticed when. The humidity lowers to around 40% it's time to water. Day 31 Continued to adjust ties, training the branches out away from the plant and did the last bit of defoliation, exposing all the branches to the light. I'm pretty happy with the shape she's in now. Soil was dry so I watered her slightly more today. Just over a liter, pH around 6, temps around 25 and the rH is 50%. Day 34 Plants starting to fill out. She's stout but she's showing sex. Watered today pH 6.3 rH was around 60% temps as usual.

Day 37 I started leaving the plant alone more, watering almost every third day. She's started to show sex. Pistils started up near the very top of the plant and seem to be spreading downward. The temps are around 25°C and the rH is 60% today. No water today. Moved a couple leaves around to expose the tops to the light, which is set at 18". I may start bringing that down a bit. Manufacturer says I can have it set to 12". Day 39 Added in a galvanized tray to the floor of the grow area and took the plant off of the milk crate, lowered the light back to 18 inches. Watered around 1 liter pH'd to 6.3. Light defoliation removing some of the bigger shade leaves. I removed the ties so the plant could adjust itself. Going to move all the branches into their final spots soon. But she's in a overall shape I'm happy with. Slight clawing comes and goes. She looked a little sadder today. If she doesn't perk up from this watering and claws any worse I'm going to try and flush the soil. I re amended it with kelp and myco active top feed for veg by pro mix and didn't measure anything out. I may have gone a little heavy but she seems to be doing okay despite that grose overlook on my part. Now that she's pretty much on the floor the temps might start to cool down some. Hopefully not too much. I definitely should have amended with the bloom feed by now. It will take a week after I apply for it to become available to the plant. Unfortunately I just couldn't swing it yet. But I should have it in the soil by the end of this week if not sooner. Day 40 I finally fed her some bloom fertilizer today. She was thirsty, needed the food and I wasn't going to be able to grab what I wanted until later this week. So I gave her a 1/4 strength feeding of Fox Farms Tiger Bloom. I wanted to try and stay away from bottled nutes this time. But it's what I had on hand and it would be available right away. Pistils are showing up on the tops of almost all the branches. Filling in more everyday. I applied the feeding through 2 liters of water, there was a little run off. Temps are a little cooler as I suspected. Sitting around 22-23°C and the rH is just under 60%. Day 41 Soil was dry enough for watering and I wanted to try and flush a bit of the nitrogen out. I'm definitely balancing on the border of too much. With the slight clawing and lighter colored new growth, although I'm not getting burnt tips I've ruled out over watering. So I gave her 4 liters of dechlorinated water pH'd around 6.5 . Tested the run off and it was in the same area. Temps are around 22-25°C and the rH is just below 60%. Day 42 Last day of week six and she's actually starting to flower. New pistils showing up everyday. I may increase the dose of her nutes on week 7. I feel this plant may take longer then expected, this may be due to my own hand, the genetics just showing some odd behavior, or perhaps a mix of the two. Temps are a little cooler then I'd like in the day and makes me worry about the night temps. I have no way of checking them other then manually, so I may have to set some alarms next week to check and maybe lift the plant up off of the floor a few inches. The floors here are cool and it's winter here.

Day 44 Temps have been a consistent 22-23°C, maybe even getting warmer during the lights off period. I haven't checked the thermometer during this time. But I have passed out on the couch a few times and it's not cold in the growing area. My plant is in the corner behind a partition. She was fed again today, raising the dose of Tiger Bloom from 1.25ml per 2L, to 2.5ml per 2L of water. pH around 6, rH is around 60% today. Light got raised while taking pictures and I forgot to lower it for a few hours. I noticed her new growth looks a little darker then it was so I only lowered it back down to 18". Not sure if the addition of more PK helped balance that out or if it was the light. Either way I'll probably keep playing with the hight of the light. Day 46 The plant continues to grow and the bud sites are getting a little bigger. She's currently 17" high and over 2' across in all directions. I'm not exactly sure why she took so long to show pistils but I have a few ideas. One being the amount of nitrogen I added to the soil before the germinated seed was put in. Like I've said before I didn't use any measurements so when she started to show signs of overdose I was freaking out a bit. But she's definitely didn't progress, she calmed down and the color has evened out. I just hope she used up enough during veg that she won't have too much during flower, affecting bud development. The second being the pot size. She's in a 7 gallon fabric pot and form what I have read it's on the large side of containers for autos. But I heard that if autos become root bound that it can trigger them to flower early. This was in the context of starting them in solo cups. So it made me think that maybe the plant would take longer to flower with the more space for the roots to grow out. This is just an idea. In overall health she looks good now. But being my first auto it's been difficult gauging stages of growth and what the plant needs during these times. There is more leeway with photoperiods for sure. My biggest concern is bud density. I know excessive nitrogen can impact bud development and I'd hate to grow a bunch of larf due to a mistake like that. For now I'm going to continue to water until I get a good amount of run off between feeds. Feeding every other watering probably moving up to half strength on the next application. Temps are around 23°C and the lows are only 20°C. Humidity bounces between high 50s low 60s. No water today. Light is set at 12" . Day 47 She's grown another inch over night. The plant is now 18 inches high and 26 inches wide in all directions. Bud sites Keep developing. I gave her 2 liters of water pH'd to 6.5 the temps and humidity consistent. Light set to 12" Day 49 On the night of day 48 I bent the main stem over to one side opening up and evening out the canopy. The next morning everything was perked up again. Temps are consistent, humidity is in the mid 50s right now. But that will change when I feed her tomorrow. Bud sites keep getting bigger. From what I can put together from other 3BOG diaries I've checked out. She should take another six weeks or so putting her around 90 days. It's a little longer then the 70-75 days Mephisto gave as an estimate. But I'm not upset at all. The seed was worth every penny. The plant is so vigorous, tonnes of side branches. The internodal spacing was really tight, only starting to stretch more then one inch at the seventh node. Just above this is where I bent over the main stem and Id have to say I'm happy. And probably lucky. I was very indecisive about how I was going to let her grow. Part of me just wanted to let it tree and the other wanted to tie her down. This led to the wacky waving inflatable arm flailing tube (wo)man that I now have.

Day 51 Sometime between the last watering and yesterday I seemed to have lost my pH pen. My water is 7.4 and when I feed the nutes balance them right to the sweet spot. So feedings should be fine but my waterings may be a a worry. Not sure how far past 7pH the plant will take. I'd really hate to fuck things up at this point. She hasn't been fed since day one of week 7 so she's getting a half dose today applied through two liters of water. pH is definitely in the mid 6's. rH is 50% this happens when she's thirsty. Temps are around 26°C this morning. Was probably a little colder then 20°C over night. Bud sites keep swelling. Some of the lower branches have bigger buds at this point. She's still got a ways to go yet. Very excited. So after feeding the plant 2.5ml per liter through 2 liters of water I noticed some slight burning on the tips of the upper leaves. I raised the light a bit, the plant is still stretching a little, about an inch over night. It's going to be straight water for the next while. Light defoliation Day 53 Applied 2 liters of dechlorinated water Day 55 No signs of toxicity advancement. Bud sites continue to swell. Temps are in the low 20s, humidity is between 50 and 60%. Overall she looks happy and that makes me happy. The plant is well I've 2 feet around and I easily could have filled a 2x2 tent with her. I plan on finishing her out and starting 4 more for my outdoor grow this year. Then getting a 2x2 to do scrog method over next winter. Day 56 Plant still looks happy. Probably need water tomorrow. Pot is still a little weighted. Temps and humidity are consistent. Lost my pH meter. No signs of problems yet.

Day 57 Watered 2 liters dechlorinated water with a few drops of lemon juice to bring the ph down a tad. Going off muscle memory so I hope it works out. This watering had 1 Tbsp of molasses added to it to feed what microbes might be in the soil. Might not do anything but it didn't hurt. Day 58 Light defoliation, mostly outer and lower shade leaves that were pressing up against the walls, not getting any light, or covering up and main bud sites. The container was light again, even after just being watered yesterday. Gave her around 1 liter of the usual. No signs of lock out yet. Day 59 Pot was light this morning. Watered about another liter today. Bud are starting to fill in, the tops are starting to thicken up everyday. Even my wife said she noticed a difference in size in just one night. The smell isn't too strong. But we are in a very small apartment and the plant is basically behind a curtain, so we might just be nose blind to it at this point. But as soon as the light go off, the smells just wave off of her. I wouldn't say it's overwhelming or unpleasant. Just a real nice, fresh bud smell. On stem rubs I've got hints of sweat, gas, and fruit. And when I rub up the shade leaves from defoliation I get something I can only discribe as wasabi. Day 61 Pot is light again this morning. My gut is telling me she wants another shot of Tiger Bloom. She showed signs of light nite burn, just a bit of yellowing on the tips of some leaves. but it hasn't progressed past that all week so I think she's good. This also could have been a result of having my light set to 13". The manufacturer says it can go as low as 12" during flower, but Ive raised it to 18" just to be safe. I just mixed up the feed. 2.5ml of Tiger Bloom in 2 liters of dechlorinated water. She hasn't been fed all week so hopefully this goes well. I'll keep a sharp eye on her and flush or leech the soil and start fresh. At this point I really see where I could use a PPM meter. Might have to get one when I get a new pH pen. Day 62 Big changes! Cleaned out a closet in the apartment today and moved the grow in there. The space is just shy of a 2x4 with lots of hight where we have 9 foot ceilings. I was really worried about the fluctuations in environment but the lights on temps are sitting at 29°c and the rH is 50%. Then after the big move around I went out, came home and my wife found my pH pen! It definitely needs to be calibrated but I have it! As for the plant. The buds are thickening up nicely and starting to get frosty, swirling up the main stem starting to connect into the other buds. Soon enough I may be looking at actual colas! So far I am amazed with the genetics Mephisto is fucking dope. She took a full dose feed and just the tips of her leaves burnt. No advancements in signs of toxicity. It will be straight water tomorrow. Day 63 Last day of week 9. The plant seems really happy in her new home. Temps are a little higher then they were but are still comfortable for the plant sitting between 27°C-29°C . Humidity took a bit of a dip this morning hovering in the high 40s. But she needed a drink and that always increases the humidity further into the comfort zone. Watered today. 2 liters of dechlorinated water. Guestimated the pH balance again from muscle memory. No signs of lock out. I did notice a bit of discoloration in a few leaves. Mostly centeralized in one area. It's not very advanced, very suttle, but I'm going to takes it as a sign to hold off on the food. I think she's got what she needs.

Day 64 Temps 27°, C rH is 55% The plant seems much happier in the closet. I know the temps were not too cold before, but they were definitely on the low end of tolerable. No water today Day 65 Given 1 liter of water +molasses + drop of lemon juice Day 66 Given 1 liter of water + drop of lemon juice The plant seems to the smaller waterings at more frequent intervals. This is something I will probably continue to do in these 7 gallon pots. Seems to work well later into the plants life when the roots have spread throughout the soil. I have a hard time getting my finger in there to check moisture and have been going the weight of the pot for a few weeks now. The leaves seem to be lightening up in some places one or two have faded. I might add a tad of fish fert in with the next feeding to up the N a bit. I really seem the need for a PPM meter and better pH testing gear. Next run I hope to have incorporated these into my grow bag. Day 67 The pot was light enough to water. I opted out on adding any more nitrogen and gave her a half dose of Tiger Bloom through 2 liters of water. I think that might be the last feed though. We are running up on day 75 and I think I'm going to cut off the nutes and let her eat herself for the last 2 weeks. I hope this isn't a bad idea bud although the buds are not huge, they are getting frosty, becoming denser, changing colors, and the hairs have gone mostly red. So maybe another 3 weeks. Temps : 27°C rH : 59% pH : unknown Day 68 Pot was light again today, gave her around 1 ½ liters of water. My pH pen is way off so I did some guesstimating and tried to get it in the range. I think the soils pH had risen causing some lock out or she actually needed some N. If she continues to fade I may add a bit of Fish Fert in there. That should be bioavailable right away. Buds are filling out but not fattening up like I'd hoped. Theses a lot I am going to do differently when it comes to training the plants next run. I'm going to go in 7 gallon fabric pots, with the top rings of tomato cages cut off and stuck into the pot to tie her down to. I'm going to plant the seedings to one side and try to get a nice even circle of buds. I didn't really trim the bottom of the plant this run, so I have a lot more popcorn buds then I'd like to have. It's definitely been a good learning experience, but now that I have a better idea on how these things grow, and when to implement training, and nutrients, I think my next run will be even better. I still suspect another 3 weeks or so. If the buds don't start to swell up next week I'm going to assume they're rippening up. The hairs are all turning red and the buds are visibly denser. But I guess time will tell. Day 69 Leaves continue to fade, buds continue to ripen. Gave her 2 liters of dechlorinated water, guessed the pH, hopefully it's in the range. Temps are around 27°C and rH is around 55%. Day 70 So between now and another five days the plant is estimated to be done. I'm gonna say another two weeks for sure. Buds are dens, leaves are fading nice and slow, just yellowing out. No signs of other deficiencies. Temps are around 25°C rH is between 50-60% pH is hopefully in the range. No water today

Day 71 Watered around 1 liter today. She's screaming for nitrogen. I hope holding off at this point isn't a bad idea. But this run is almost over. And I can move onto the next one with all I learned. Im starting to smell the plant in the morning now. A nice funky kush, lemon fusion mixed with gas and a bit of B.O. it almost burns your nostrils. Day 75 Watered around 1 liter Temps around 25°C rH is around 55% Day 77 The last day of week 11 and probably my least documented week this grow. Not much to report, the buds arent getting huge but they are dense. Probably getting the chop soon as I'm getting impatient to start over.

I knew this was too hot and I did want o could to keep it down. 3 days later we got a dry spike and the heat in our apartment went up to 27°C even though we only have the thermostat set to 20°C. Needles to say she's dry. I trimmed off the rest of the sugar leaves and put it in jars to cure. 37g dried after being trimmed. Probably close to an oz of shake. Smoked some smaller larf from the bottom when I had finished trimming. Burned nice with a near white ash, taste dope with hints of grapefruit! And I got a good buzz off it. So I hit all my goals with this grow even with and early chop. It taste awesome and burns well! Its got a nice Stoney kind of buzz but makes you want to do things at the same time. And I got more then an ounce! On to the next run with all I learned!
