I have a lot of plants with no smell because I don't want everyone knowing my business Autoflowers are the worst about no smell, especially in Coco coir but potency still the same. I've done large grows & use negative ion fans, which bond negative ion particles to odor molecules to eliminate all smell. Imagine 100 plants smelling. Filters are useless at that point. lol. Photoperiod plants are in soil longer & have more time to absorb the nutrients to give good smell. But autos grow so fast, they don't have time to absorb nutes for long enough to smell as good. That's why the longer the auto flower takes to bud, the better it smells. But if smell becomes an issue, use 1450 ppm CO2, which will drown out smell & allow your buds to get fatter faster & this allows better smelling buds because the plant is working in hyperdrive absorbing carbohydrates to get the nutrients needed for good smell. When taken out if CO2 rich environment, you can smell it then. Remember, though, you get immuned to the smell over time. But some phenotypes don't smell. This allows an autoflower to absorb as many nutes over 3 months as phenotype does in 8 months.
