Two seeds placed in Root Riot plugs
Placed into humidity dome with heat mat under
Light 24" away dimmed to 20% at 200 PPFD
Maintained 82 degrees F and 90% humidity
Seeds popped after 48 hours of planting
Kept seedlings in Root Riot plugs until day 7
Transplanted to 1 gallon plastic pots
Maintaining 80 degrees F and 80% humidity
Started running clip on fan & opened one ventilation window
#1 remains a little bit bigger than #2 but both strong and sturdy
Watering with 1-2 tablespoons of water, just keeping the plugs moist
Will start increasing now that they are transplanted
Starting the grow in Coast of Main Platinum & will transplant to 5 Gallon pots with my homemade living soil after 1 month
Drop temperature down to 78 degrees F and maintained 80% humidity
Started running inline fan on "1" with still one vent window open
Watering in a large circle around the stem of the plants, increased to around 3oz/day
#1 remains very healthy and big, #2 seems to be struggling but with everything being done the same, seems to just be the luck of the draw
Drop temperature down a little more to to 76 degrees F and maintained 70% humidity
Started watering until pots feel a little heavier, about half a cup each
Nothing else different, both great at a steady pace, but #1 still going a little faster. Also starting to droop just a little
Drop temperature down a little more to to 74 degrees F and maintained 65% humidity
Topped both plants on the 6th node
Adjusted light down to 18 hours from 20 hours
Starting to notice an issue with the big plant with browning edges and raised veins on the leaves. Its also still drooping and got some yellowing on bottom leaves. Thinking its a little light stress along with previously letting the soil dry out too often and microbes dying.
Going to transplant in a few days to 2 gallon pots
