I share the same feelings with @GrowCN, on the paper towel method, the baby root can easily be damaged if its left in it to long. and if you plant them after the roots an inch long there greater risk of transplant shock. Glass of water and scarification is good, then directly plant in the medium. I only soak for 12 hrs just in case, don't wan't it to drown. Beneficial microbes are a great addition to them as well. Helps ward of early disease. I have seeds that are 5+ years old. if you store them right they will pop. Best of Luck and Keep on growing
