Re trying to grow the Sherbet. Fingers crossed this one takes!
12.31.2021 placed in shot glass of water and will observe for now
1.4.22 after seeing no progress I decided to just put it in soil and see what happens
1.5.22 was able to confirm germination because the seed is being pushed up and out the soil by the taproot. Will probs be a bucket head sprout
1.6.22 we have a bucket head up and out! We're gonna give it a few days to make it out the shell before trying to help along
1.7.22 we got a full ok sprout now. The seed case was still on the sprout but came off easy. I hope it's done stretch now that thebleaves have been able to open up :D
1.10.22 seeing good leaf development and steady growth
1.12.22 leaves are growing wider which is a good thing. Looking forward to see how this goes in future nodes
So far the seedlings phase has been pretty relaxed and unpronlematic. We've transferred this Sherbet into its final 5 gallon home and now are just waiting to see how it comes out. We added Myco to the transplant hole in hopes to reduce transplant stress
W3D1 - 20Jan2022
So far doing well with transplant. Of the trio to be transplanted, this was definitely the longest to recover.
W3D3
So far looking strong and is starting to pick back up in growth. At this point, it seems like a good idea to look at topping soon.
W3D5
Decided to top them now that we are at 3 nodes of growth. If it's anything like its sibling, we'll see some pretty uniform tops in a week or so.
W3D7
Looking good and going into the next week strong. Let's hope for some pick up in growth from the topping stress.
Overall the plant looks great and I am looking forward to doing a little bit of training. But with its short stature I winder if I'll need to train at all and just let them go hog wild. Time will tell
Cheers til next time

W4D1 - 27Jan22
Freshly topped. Looking forward to seeing how this one turns out. Hopefully the stress won't be too much
W4D6
Recovered well from topping, and you can see the bottom growth is coming in well too. Looks like this is is a gonna be a lil smaller I think.
Iran doing well. Took well to first feeding too and I'm excited to be growing these seeds!! So far the Sherbet genetics are pretty nice.

Starting off this plant is looking ready for flower. I did a little bit if defoliation and helped get prepped for flyer
W6D6
Today is the first full day of flower. Technically we flipped to flower on Feb14th, but this is where they got the first full12 hrs of light.
Overall good and strong. Hoping to see good progression off of the plant as we are going into flower.

So far doing well. We are seeing the beginnings of the stretch. With the CBD plant being a male, I'm thinking of using the SCROG net on this one.
W7D5
Starting to get further into the stretch and still healthy green. I'm starting to see the sex too which is exciting. Likely this plant shows preflowers in veg too, but I'll take seeing them as we enter flower :).
W7D6
Went ahead and used the SCROG. THIS will probs be one of my last grows til summer so I wanna give SCROG a shot before I take a break
Overall looking forward to how this one does in a scrog. I am mildly worried about sex, but we'll see how it comes along. Fingers crossed we can get bud outta this one 😅😁
Cheers til next time

The SCROG is doing well and the Sherbet is holding up well. I am starting to see deficiencies and burns crop up on the bottom that is mildly concerning. I've added a bit more food for the next feeding to see if that will make a difference.im finding the feed schedule from Dr. Earth is not enough for how aggressive this girl is.
Hopefully this voracious appetite will translate to some good buds down the road.

I'm seeing the leaves are decaying slower so that is letting me know that feeding the plant an increased diet is effective. I'm probably gonna do a bit more of the flower girl next feeding and see how that works.
I did notice a bit of burning after my last compost tea mix with the green Aminos and nature's brix so I will be doing just plain water next time and then back to the usual tea mix.

So far we are looking good! This plant has some deficiencies that are still slowly occurring but that is letting me know that we are close to having it rectified. I'll plan to do the next feeding Monday 14Mar22. I'm planning to do 5 tbsps of the flower girl and 2 tbsps of the all purpose.
The flowers are coming along wellband look like they are starting to put on some weight, which is great to see. Well keep an eye on things and hopefully we'll see some chunky nugs soon!

So far this one is doing well! As we're going into the end of flower I honestly can't wait to see how she turns out. I'm worried that she may hit some issues as I'm getting ready to move to a new space in April and she's looking like she'll need to survive the move 🙃
Here's hoping she pulls through. In the mean time though, she's looking super healthy and robust. We're starting to see some more fan leaves fade out as we are coming into these last few weeks. I hope it comes out well!
W13D1 2Apr2022
What can I say. This plant ROCKED while doing a screen of green. It's my first time doing a SCROG on a plant and honestly this plant showed me just how helpful they can be (and now I have more trellis netting on the way)! This plant did exceptional and by the end, the buds have been floppy and smelly. Final check in showed this plant having a heavy fruity and skinny frangrance.
On D6 we put her into darkness for 48hours (more like 72) and chopped her down on D2 of what would be W14. Can't wait to crack into trimming and harvest.
Cheers til next time where we break her down!

Overall great smells, it smokes nice but definitely can be improve with a cure. It gives me cheese and orange as flavors. And it has a gassy after taste. Overall I like it. Crazy to see how the strains vary in profile.
This one also feels much more uplifting and heavier as a high. This plant is pretty potent and sneaks up on you with how strong it is.
