Popped seeds in water then when the taproot became exposedni switchedbit to paper towel and let the taproot develop before putting into growing medium in solo cups
They were starting to look starved in the solo cups even though I was surprised that they hadn't grown much. The roots were very long, even coming out of the bottom of the cup by a good 3 inches. Planted them in their final pots as I do and am hoping for the best.
Well, it looks like they're gonna make it. One is shooting up faster than the other 2. Giving them light feedings of kelp as they adjust to the amended promix.
Starting to really grow finally. The leaves are more slender than what I've grown in the past. Maybe a bit sativa leaning?( not sure of the origins of Blueberry, too lazy to look it up). Probably going to top in the next week or so. Unlike previous grows where I topped twice, I'm only going to top these the one time and compare the results. But less colas means I get to pop some more seeds to fill the tent. Stay tuned folks. Same bat time, same bat channel.
This week the plants were looking healthy enough for me to go to town. Topped the 3 girls, stripped em down to just the tops and gave them a half strength feeding of nutes. The one largest plant I took a few cuttings from to see if I could clone them. Just for shits and giggles.
These plants started clawing a few days ago. I did a pour through test on the water and the ppm were off the charts at over 4000. The ph was also way down to 5.4
Had a busy evening flushing these ladies and getting the runoff to be in the acceptable range of about 750 and the ph up to around 6.6
I also just chopped the white widows from the flower tent so i cleaned and bleached the tent and popped these sickly looking ladies into a better environment for them to heal up.
Stay tuned to see whether I either helped or hindered the triplets
Ladies made a recovery after last week's flush. They took a long time to dry out. One plant grew about 6 inches taller than the inherent 2 so I cropped her over. Ended up creating a fold in each stem so I taped them up
A little late posting but I fed them another half dose of nutrients. I currently have a batch of worm poo and molasses tea brewing to feed them again in a day or 2
