So if your following my page this is my second pheno of the pink panther.
A recap i waited until after Christmas to plant her. I kept her in the bathroom covered with the heater on so it would be humid. Now they are in the pots in their tent.
So my pink panther girl sprouted today and is reaching for the light.
I planted the pod into a .3 gallon pot in the tent .
The last day of the week we put them into fabric pots.
Growth is so great this lady is looking great.
Next week we will prepare the plant for some lst.
The plant is being watered when dry at about 1/3 gallon but sometimes a little less if there's still water.
Beautiful growth i can't wait to see her flower!
To start this week i pinch FIMMED to slow the main growth and bring the lower growth to the top.
I water the lady when she is dry to the touch.
I water in at a ph around 6.2
Low stress training and topping are the methods we are using this grow.
I water in roughly 1 gallon every other day over a few hours and i make sure the water is at a ph of 6.2 or so.
Reasons why a verified photo period would throw pistols during a vegetation light schedule. No other plants in the tent are throwing pistols. At the time of strting to throw pistols it was on a 24 hr light schedule?
Female photoperiods will show their gender anywhere from 4-10 weeks into their veg cycle.. usually for me is around week 6-8 for me.
It also could be an accidental autoflower. Seen plenty of that lately.
No worries tho. If it begins to have multiple pistils develop in one area then that’s an issue and it’s likely an autoflower
This week I changed the light schedule to 12/ 12 , and I gave her a good defoliation.
I lowered the light to 2 feet above the canopy.
The light setting stayed at 80% .
I only watered at a PH of 6.0-6.2 and only did that when she felt light.
Next week I will have fed her and thinned her out a little.
I will be keeping an eye out for deficiencies and will amend when It's needed.
I gave her some kalcium and potassium this week.
And watered at a ph rage of 6.0 to 6.2.
And continuing to check for hermies and monitoring general health.
This was a fun week. And in the midst of all the fun the plant got put in dark for 16 hours.
After getting things figured out with the lighting, I found the lady hadn't been watered and was ... very thirsty. So I watered in 2/3 Gal of water ph balanced to 6.1-6.2.
I will be keeping a close eye on them.
This week iv just monitored her closely for any differences in the leafs
Watered at a ph of 6.2 she seems to appreciate that.
