This is a pretty casual diary — just tracking for my own purposes mostly.
Been trying some new strategies to increase temperature and humidity in the tent.
She’s just flipping over to flower now — I wasn’t sure weather I would top the plant... but I decided to this one time just in the edge of flower — didn’t want to do it earlier to avoid inducing flower
Jan 29th - pistols have turned white and she is pushing into flower now — definitely through the transition. I think the topping last week encouraged the flip and she responded very well.
Continuing to tuck tops under the screen and working to keep an even canopy. Then main leader it too thick to tuck under at this point.
She’s filling the tent well.
Today I have removed some fan leaves (maybe 20 or so) that were not getting enough light or were blocking tops.
It’s about week 8! A few weeks into flower now.
So far this is looking like the most successful indoor grow to date, but it is early of course. She’s filling the tent perfectly — flowering exactly at the right time — nice even canopy. These genetics have responded very well to scrogg. I am endlessly impressed by canuk genetics.
She’s smelling stronger this week and buds are starting to form. Vertical growth is slowing down — some stretching still.
Week 9ish.
She’s smelling stronger, but definitely manageable. I have removed some leaves on a couple occasions just to keep good airflow and light penetration - very minimal. I have removed maybe 35 leaves the entire lifecycle so far.
I have done very little to upkeep this plant. I just water when the soil is about to dry out - once a week or so. I allow the soil to nearly dry then water a lot in one go 2-4L of pH adjusted Brita filtered water.
You wouldn’t believe the cheap 60 W led lights I’m using. Increasing the temperature in the tent has made a massive difference since my last indoor grow. Again, all I have done is run dryer hose to heating ducts in the basement, super easy.
Week 10
Buds are fattening up now and she’s showing some brown pistols. Smelling stronger bud it is still quite manageable.
I am lightly defoliating, removing a few larger leaves and ones lower down on the plant to keep good air circulation and encourage her to focus on bud development.
She’s doing incredibly well. Super low maintenance, perfect size for the tent, responded to SCROG extremely well.
Week 11 and she’s still on cruise control with Gia Green — just watering once or twice a week when the soil is getting dry. I’ve mostly stopped removing any leaves at this point and will likely remove ones that are yellowing as she pushes on deeper into flower.
No signs of nutrient deficiency. Idk how you guys stay on top of liquid nutrient schedules.
Maybe 3-5 weeks left. Buds are fattening up by the day.

Noticing she’s smelling stronger inside the tent. Opening the door pretty strategically at this point. Carbon filters are taking care of it though
Week 11 about (Day 75ish) She’s finishing up now for sure. Some fan leave are beginning to lose their colour — look yellow under the red and blue lights.
Buds are covered in trichomes and look sticky. She’s smells stronger than she has to date — probably at max skunk now and I cannot smell her outside the tent. I am running two carbon filters though — one on each side of the fan.
Watering once a weekish when the soil is dry and the pot feels lighter. Watering 2-3Ls of pH adjusted Brita filtered water.
I have not fed this plant through the grow — she’s still going on the Gaia all purpose and power bloom I mixed into the media before planting.
Temp is stable at 20-23C. Humidity 35-45%
I would guess 2-3 weeks to harvest at this point.
After 4 day’s of hanging the buds seems crisp enough to start the cure.
Current humidity of the cure is ~69-71%. Shaking and opening the jars twice a day.
Current harvest weight is 2.55Oz — if I cure to 55-60% should still be looking at a final weight a little over 2Oz, maybe 2.25Oz.
A decent harvest for a quick flowering auto in a small space. Nice little winter Indica grow finishing just in time to get starts going for spring outdoor.
I did have some issues close to the end of the run — leaves were drying out and becoming brittle, so I was cutting them off. I feel like the buds could have fattened up a bit more. I might go heavier on the power bloom next time or do a top dressing early in the flower.
Buds still smell a bit grassy which will dissipate during the curing process. Need more time to finish the cure before testing the smoke.
