SugarGreen For each seed, 24 hours in a glass of water before being transferred into a paper towel, damp not moist. Filled the ziplock with hot air and closed. Disappointed that only one out of the three properly germinated, but I’m happy I got at least one that’ll work. These are the only auto’s I have, I’d be less grateful for 33% germination rate if this wasn’t my only auto strain.
I’m hoping to see the seedling by 1/12. Let’s see where it goes from here!

SugarGreen I'm super bummed the other two plants ended up being duds, but I'm thankful my last auto seed has actually turned into a seedling

SugarGreen After a rough first couple of weeks, especially with no amendments, shes starting to grow stronger. Lost a part of her leaf in the transplant, but moved her to better soil. The first soil I bought was garbage. She has a nice smell starting to form, though very faint.

SugarGreen Big week for lupe! Like I said last week, she’s doing well after such a horrible start. Honestly indoor growing is so much harder than outdoor god damn. My first indoor is giving me a lot of insight though! Anyway, Lupe has been growing rapidly since the last time I posted, I’m expecting to see some great growth in these next coming weeks as she prepares to flower! She had a magnesium deficiency that is slowly starting to get better as I adjust her diet. Unfortunately I fucked up transplanting my auto gelato seedlings after I got some better soil, I popped another bean to give it a go. I also copped SoFem Cherry Cheese Skunk auto’s that Im thinking I’ll pop in March. Anyway, super excited for these next few weeks

SugarGreen Same as last week, she’s doing great now after a horrid start. She’s starting to smell a gassy and funky, some gassy terps similar to the terp profile of gmo, but more more orangey and citrusy. Which smells great even though I’m not a citrus strain guy.

SugarGreen She’s just starting to flower! First indoor grow and she’s flowering. Wow that’s crazy. She’s a short, wide plant. Should be much bigger but I fucked up heavily in the first week and a half… otherwise she’s just killing it. Sour Citrus: musky, citrusy terps. Similar to gmo but with a musky orange smell. Not as funky as gmo but definitely has some funk

SugarGreen The smell has grown more sour. The smell is a musky virtues orangey smell, less funk like gmo, more fruity funk, kinda like a sour hulk w more citrus and musk.

SugarGreen The funk smell has slowly started fading a bit as the sour, fruity, sweet terps are coming through. The main notes are certainly sweet and sour, with an emphasis on sweet citrus. The musk is still there, mixed with the fruity, sweet, funky smell. Smells great, but I tend to go towards a funkier, gassier terp profile.

SugarGreen The smell is getting increasingly stronger. Like I said last week, the plant has been getting sweeter. She’s hella sticky and is getting pretty damn resinous. I bought the beans thinking this would be a 9 week grow, but this baby has at least 2 more weeks minimum. I’m expecting the colas to get bigger, but I definitely don’t have crazy expectations about the size. I’ve grown this baby organically so i’m really goin for quality over quantity. It’s my first grow and I’m pumped with how it’s been going. After this baby almost died, she’s now thriving. Can’t wait to see how she progresses.

SugarGreen The smell is getting more citrusy and funky. There’s a very noticeable smelly odor like shoes or socks mixed in with the delicious citrusy sweet combo. LST has boosted her growth like crazy and like I said last week, her flowering is gonna last at least 2 weeks longer. Crazy how much she’s improved since the beginning.
After the beginning she was easy to grow and maintain, responded extremely well to LST until harvest, and she started to develop and gassy, orangey, sweet, funky smell. At week 8 she started developing a deeper purple color on her upper fam leaves, though the calyx’s stayed green. She fattened up immensely in the final 2 weeks and stretched heavily in the three weeks leading up to it. With medium sized colas and about a dozen thick lower canopy branches which developed surprisingly thick colas, she delivers a good yield and a fairly short amount of time. I expect around a QP. She’s pretty frosty, easy to grow, fairly good yields, and if your a gassy, funky, orange terpene lover this is a good strain for you. I prefer lemon terps all the way, I wish this gal had been lemon dominant, but note that her citrus terps definitely lean towards orange in a pretty obvious way. This is my first indoor grow, second overall, and both have been purple city genetics seeds. I’m excited to have my first indoor grow under my belt, especially with all the learning and experience that has arisen. I’m pumped to continue to learn this craft as my stunted gelato and small cherry cheese skunk develop further into flower. Thank you all for following along on my journey, this has been an exciting time for a young college student eager to learn.
