Germinated with a half inch long tap root after 36 hours (estimated) transfered to soil pellet and then to two litre soil pot after seedling stretch of 2 inches. Treated with organic rooting hormone.
Have the seedling covered with a hood, been spraying with water and spraying soil with same water as it is the room temperature trying to avoid any type of shock. Grow box is too cold this time of year.
Removed the cover for extra humidity and saw some growth overnight going to leave it off now. Slight discoloration on the leaves but it's not something I'm gonna worry about, just from excess water I think sitting on the leaves, maybe a slight nitrogen deficiency but I'm still gonna wait a week before hitting it with anything other than plain water. Plenty of stretch, will be adding some more soil sometime this week. Growth overall is a little slow but that's down to the environment I'm sure, still quite happy with development.
Plant is developing well but I'm seeing a lot of purple coloration in the branches which isn't great but I'm really not sure if it's genetics or a nutrient problem. Leaves are returned to a nice green after a nitrogen rich feed. Will start on my homemade nutrients this week. Can tell this will be a beautiful plant, pity with my current set up I don't have the room to bring out it's full genetic expression but that is what that is.
I have to say this plant is a pleasure to grow so far. Doesn't guzzle water, hasn't had any nutrient problems that I've been able to recognise visually so far and plenty vigorous, it's growing great in comparison to autos in the same box. Not an exceptional stacker but I like how it's built because it lets plenty of light in. Starting to smell gewd. I topped midweek and tidied up a little. Seems to like the homespun nutes.
This thing is great doesn't seem.to give a carp about the cold weather. Seems to be loving my homemade nutes. Did some more toping and some training. Other than that she's happy as larry.
Had a bit of a droop/wilt problem evident in the photos from last time but a couple of Peruvian clay treatments and some Epsom dollars seem to have solved the problem. Really wish I'd have had the space to let this bad boy do it's thing but it doesn't seem phased at all by the severe topping and thing I'm doing to keep the space managable. It's been really cold recently too and it'sstill soldiering on. Definitely gonna do an outdoor or two with these this year. Can't get enough of the old school hash stem rub I'm pesterin it every time I walk by.
Great vigour off this guy. Defoliated last week and it's right back to where it started and looking better than ever although with some slight discolouration. Not going to worry about the discoloration because it's been a quick fix before and only setting in since yesterday. Great wee plant, can't wait to get some stuff out of the way and get started into 12/12.
Plants doin great, been really cold but I think it's still growing well. I've flipped to 12/12 as of a couple of days ago so just waiting now for the real party to start. Did some more training with bamboo and wraps and the plant is adjusting well to the space. Smell is getting better and better. thinking if I get this thing to harvest I'm going to repot into something larger and see If I can reveg for outdoor.
She's getting stinky now and it's magical, reminds me of riff cream hashish, ahh memroies. I applied lactic acid bacteria last week and I'm adding a few mls of ffj once a week to a feeding. I think it's going well all in all, bulked out well again in comparison to last week dispite the fact I've changed to 12/12 and I can see the flowers starting off already. Really excited to see how this grow turns out fingers crossed it doesn't go tits up cause my luck lately at this stage has been pure shit.
More co miserable growth this week again despite the shortcomings of my little box. I defoliated again early last week and she has come back again beautiful. No real changes to anything really no real development of flowers either even though it's in week two of 12/12 I'm not worried though I accept it will take time with these less than optimum conditions.
Haven't updated on this for a while because of distractions and it shows on her growth inopportune feeding and a lighting malfunction means flowering has been slow but he last couple of days have seen frost forming thick and fast. Still smells amazing with the gas starting to rear it's head
