Basically going to let this one play out running FFOF straight up with no additional nutrients. Might do some light LST as soon as I can bend it to the edge of the pot. Whatever I can accomplish in about 3 weeks or so. Cheers!
- Drenched soil, planted 01/09/22 @ 3PM
- Lights @ 40%
- Wk1D3: 1/2 gallon p.water added.
NOTES: I think this will be the easiest way to get the most out of your FFOF. I'd add some castings from jump st to the FFOF. Put the plants in their final home a week before flip, then top dress at week 3 and week 6 of flower. You don't want to chase deficiencies growing organically. Everything happens slower. Stay a head of the game and it will be smooth sailing, and water only the whole way. ??? (coconut water) straight from a coconut diluted with your water ///Deposit half an inch of worm casting (I would say 5-6 generous tablespoons for a 10-inch diameter container)
Move the soil gently with the worm compost on top with a spoon. Your objective here is to incorporate the worm casting in the soil for faster absorption. If you can create some holes (with a stick) 1-2 inches deep (without affecting the roots), this will allow the worm casting to sink into the soil.
Repeat after a month (if in summer weather), especially if you have herbs
This technique allows, over time, the worm casting to reach the plant roots through watering. Indeed, each time you pour water on the soil (avoid wearing leaves), some worm casting will be moved down through the rest of the soil, close to the plant roots.
Showing some small growth, more sites opening. Will likely need to veg her longer than I planned. May be adding another seedling to the tent.
01/19/2022: WATER .5 gallon
Topped over the weekend. She seems to have adjusted real well since. I saved the top in another 3 inch seedling pot to see if we can get another plant going...the more the merrier!
Realized the persistent small white patches of grainy dust on some of the older leaves is not a good thing as it started climbing the stem.
Shout out to the local dispensary for handing out freebies of WPM with their clones...
Treating with milk solution... seems to be doing the trick.
Increasing lights to 75%, no other changes.
