This girl isn't looking super frosty but she smells like candy. Almost an identical aroma to the slurricane 7. I spread the plants out a little this week so they get better light and air flow. Other than that I haven't done anything besides keep the reservoir full. Still pumping nutrients 1 minute on 20 minutes off. They are getting .5 tsp maxibloom per gallon. Not going to run any boosters this round. They dont look like they want or need it.
@Growurownseed, thanks. Yeah, these plants have been grown using nothing but maxigro and maxibloom. It's a great nutrient line and holds steady ph in hydro
Great looking plant! Starting to senesce to a deep purple color I see...
Does this In House strain also have the red stem trait? Can't really tell from the photos.
@Wicked_Stix, So...maybe the red stem trait isn't actually endemic to Sugar Cane after all, but rather a shared genetic trait amongst it and many of their other strains (but not Candy Cane)...generally seems like a dominant trait, because it showed up in virtually every Sugar Cane cross thus far...like that delicious Sugar Cane flavor.
@Silverback_Guerilla, this one didnt have the red stems. I actually didnt notice the purple on it until I took this pic. Shes getting really purple now. Slurricane has purpled a lot this week too
Nice beautiful plants!
I bought some Candy Cane seeds in December and I was planning to grow a few during the summer months.
I'll be watching your grow to see how it all goes.
