First week for a new grower did a bit of research and decided to go for this tent and one other and I chose to grow in coco coir using Canna coco A and B nutrients week 1 was daunting with the sprouts get a foot hold? Do I know what im doing NO LOL
Steady onwards progress, At this point I have noticed that in each tent there a few plants that seem much more speedy / stronger in growth I am guessing this must be down to seed level conditions when it was formed as each seedling has had identical environment I am getting a lot of joy watching them grow
week 3 is going well further improved growth rates no signs of any problems the family seem very happy in there home, I will update once again at the end of this week.
Hi guys and girls, Please review my grows now onto day 1 week 4 , Seem to me to be very healthy but I have one question as I am growing in coco do I have to have a run off at every feed to reduce salt build up? plants have been feed about 250ml per day and I have never had run of
Coco is hydro is a bag. So yes you should have run off every feeding. I grow in coco. The secret is in your ph and coco moisture. Coco is never suppose to get dry. Vegging ph 5.8 in and 5.8 ph run off out. Flowering 6.2, 6.3 in and same out. These are optimal ph range for nutrition absorption in the stages. You can not OVERWATER in coco. I grow in it a lot. You can dump 10 gallons through it right now and it would be fine, then again tomorrow, and still fine.. Just never leave them in run off. You should of set your ph in coco in beginning. That is basics from experience growing in it daily.
Firstly it is now entirely clear just how superior the mars hydro lights are just look at the difference between my grows! The light in this tent is a Luminar 600w taken on its own merits the plants are growing at a consistent rate, albeit lanky and sparse however they may surprise us yet
So week 5 is here we have the first white hairs coming and a faint smell so we are officially flowering :-) Again compared to tent 1 these are definitely light starved to some degree although I am sure they produce a reasonable yeild
