m0useanswered grow question 3 years ago I grow with Gaia Green and it looks a lot like SWA,
Gaia gives its breakdown of NPK and what amendments are in it. I can't seem to find that on SWA's site.
With Gaia I need to adjust my water to 6.5 as I'm mainly in a coir based medium, if I was in soil I would not have to do much. bring it to 6.8-7 and top dress every 2-3 weeks.
I like it as the feed is broken down by the soil microbes first then given to the plant.
A healthy soil life helps prevent disease and creates stronger plants.
If you thinking of trying it, the yields tend not to be as big as a hydro setup, but some say the taste is more robust. I have yet to see any studies with lab results confirm this.
Just first world experience, my home grown tomatoes taste way better then the hydro grown tomatoes at grocery stores, ONE MASSIVE flaw is that they are not the same species so its hard to tell if they really do taste any better.
Plants also will need more of the organic dry amendments as well.
Typically it is anywhere from 1-3 tablespoon per gallon of medium in your pot every 2-3 weeks.
Good Luck and Happy Growing!
