LegacyMarketFarm First week of flower mixture of Gaia green glacial rock dust & Power bloom are troughed between the plant rows and raked gently into the surface of the soil. This greatly helps with root development and completely encourages the roots to use up every last inch of soil. The c02 burners are now active on both floors. C02 levels represent 300ppm less than current PPM in feed for first week of flower. LegacyMarketFarm Week 2 of flower the roots are developing like mad by this point from the top dressing. The first feed after the top dressing of Gaia green products is a Flower microbe / Enzyme / Cane molasses tea. Defoliation is now done to allow more light to reach the bud sites we are wanting to develop. All undergrowth and unwanted bud sites are stripped during this defoliation period. Getting a solid 1200 PAR on top of the plant tops. Our temps are at this point aimed at 82 degrees on all plant tops as close as possible. We allow for a 4 degree variance down or up at this stage, but as we pass into week 4 and 5 we begin our LST. We pamper our plants and do our best to remove any and all forms of stress from the grow so that when we begin to induce LST it has a much more profound affect on the plants. LegacyMarketFarm So this week we noticed mites on about 6 plants in the middle of one of the beds upstairs. If you watch my youtube video you will see me plug up ducting on the wall. This was newly added the week before to help cool the rooms down more by the master grower. When he cut the hole in the building some insulation fell on this specific group of plants and it looks like it had some mites in it from previous grows. We made a group decision to pull out the affected plants, Spray any that were touching them with insecticidal soap very closely and continue to drop room temps to stunt them out and go for the full 10 weeks. Stay tuned for harvest shots & cured pics. If you haven't checked out my youtube go ahead and pop over and subscribe! Thank you everybody for all the support and such a warm welcome to grow diaries. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCR89iF2Iqy3zlHZhFfU2MMg

LegacyMarketFarm This is it guys pull down time! This was always a very busy time for me as I have to manage the work crews to make sure their all doing their jobs right & I would also lead by example trying to be the hardest working one in the room. It motivated everyone else to see the grower actually working with them as the last assistant master grower / on-site manager did not. Beds flooded 24 hours previously with really cold feed temp water loading the beds right up, 24 hours of darkness then chopped whole and hung in our cold slow dry/cure sea cans kept at 45 degrees & 65 percent humidity. This takes 3 weeks to complete. My job is done here now guys, The next time you see a facility like this from me it will be my own craft cannabis facility. My planned phases to reach this goal will be coming out soon in a youtube video I will be using as a promotional video to attract investors & funding. Next week I will post up the final bud shots of some of the smalls I got from this crop as this pot is not mine I will not be able to take photo's of the big batches. First and foremost we want to do something all Licensed producers at least here in Canada have not done. We want to take our time to build a relationship with the cannabis community both here in Canada and abroad. We want to show everybody what we are about, I want everyone to know the kind of person I am, How passionate I am about growing cannabis & how much care I put into growing it. Since I began growing cannabis I have always wanted to help others learn to grow. Now I can do this and also accomplish my goal of getting to know the community and the community getting to know me all at the same time. Our tutorial series will continue into a web series of all of our grows so we can share our experience of learning to grow in a tent and hopefully share some insight and ideas I have from my background. We want all of you to be able to watch our journey from the beginning until we reach the market & you can help out by sharing our content and making sure to support us by following us on growdiaries and subscribing to our youtube. Thank you all so much for such a warm welcome to the community it has gone better than I could have ever hoped. Next, I will be uploading a diary of a greenhouse experiment my wife & I did this past summer in our spare time and hopefully soon after that our tent tutorial series should be starting up. We will be at first covering simple grow techniques and learning the life cycle of the cannabis plant with autoflowers. Our next series will be a slightly more advanced one using photoperiods covering more in-depth techniques, Cloning & mothering. Our series will continue on to review equipment, tents, strains and our progress towards reaching our eventual goals. Make sure to hop on over and follow us on youtube. Thank you Growdiaries for all the support and I hope you guys continue to enjoy my diaries in the future. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCR89iF2Iqy3zlHZhFfU2MMg/about

This stuff came out like serious ditch weed for a lot of the phenos. I dont know if it is to be blamed on the strain or the clone guy, I would say out of 100 plants there was maybe 20 keepers. Some were colorful and nuggy others were more lanky bud but all of the keepers were caked up hard. It does show there are some incredibly weak terrible phenos in this strain. I would stay away. * THIS IS DRY WEIGHT NUMBERS IN POUNDS * Divine banana 2 beds 50 plants per bed x 4 800W LED each bed 4x8 = 7.3 LBS

We did have some weaker phenos of this strain again I am thinking it is down to the clone guy. But the phenos that were good are killer smoke and absolutely beautiful buds. 50 plants 1 bed 2x 800W LED = 3.78 LB DRY ( not a giant yielder ) VERY dense buds.

Had a whole bed pop bananas my wife & I had to watch for a solid 2 weeks and remove them all as soon as they showed before they opened. Luckily we prevented any seed from showing up in the bud but I would say VERY difficult strain to grow but well worth it if you nail it. This one was called " travis cut " 100 plants 2 beds 4 lights total Cake Crasher = 12.2 LB DRY Weight ( Dense big buds, Huge yielder just over 3LB a light )

I would say this is a definite Instagram strain in the very definition of the term lol. Some of the craziest weed I have ever seen but flavor and smell is EXTREMELY muted. Potency is there but I did not really enjoy smoking it due to having such a muted terpene profile and nose. Grew super easy and had some giant phenos and some smaller phenos. All very dense. 50 plants 1 bed 2 800W LED buffalo breathe = 5.38 LBS ( Average yielder but dense, dense buds. )

We've apparently broken Grow Diaries. I went to go fix the Light information in my grow and it won't let me add more lights to it. It's capped at 199. I am missing one 800W and one 1000W Light for flower. LOL

I just messaged grow diaries to get help fixing the amount of lights in my diary so i am the first person to max out their system. I asked for some kind of badge for that accomplishment who agrees lol

I hate those damn mites, one of my last grows got infected and I had to spray her with Safer insecticidal soap as well. Fortunately it did the trick. Looks like you caught the problem before it spread, nice job! 👊

@MrHightimes, Yeah they are a good show to start working with. But serious humidity as my wife and I managed them in Veg in the Sea Cans. They sweated worse than Davey Jones's Locker Socks. They are also not fun to cut through as the Master grower who was also the Electrician on-site, with me did a lot of the electrical work on the Sea can expansion. In the end, the total cost invested was over 500,000 to connect 8 sea cans, insulated them, and put 600 AMPS into them. Would have been better to just build a new site from the ground up.

Have you seen adjust-wing decided to take on LED marke good ideas just not sure how reflecktors on sides help LED as they are directional and don’t emit light from the sides unless there halion LEDs emit light multiple directions m.youtube.com/watch Actually shadow on the wall looks like it’s spreading light out nicely

You can also get ladybugs. They eat mites fast and less stress on the plant. Happy growing 😃
LegacyMarketFarm
LegacyMarketFarm commented4y ago
@420DeepGrow, We will for sure try this out in our product reviews of insecticides we will include beneficial bugs. I see Gaia Green has a Diatomaceous Earth, we will for sure be trying it out. Thanks so much for your advice. I found this Wollammo stuff, it's supposed to be a preventative product. So we will be trying it out soon as well. Hopefully, it actually works, have you heard about it? https://wollammo.com/

@RastaMouse, I truly enjoy this type of information. My wife was doing some minor studies on beneficial bugs and companion plants for an outdoor grow idea. Will have to get a ladybug friend soon. And that lady bug will train 1000 other lady bugs. (lol Dune reference)

wife VS Air handler 😆
LegacyMarketFarm
LegacyMarketFarm commented4y ago
@JaramnieJazz, Yeah, it was a struggle. Out of all 4 Air units, the back one Froze often in late flower. All 4 AC's pull the air from the rooms then re-push it back out into the rooms. They were designed this way to intake the C02 & filter it back down onto the plants as C02 is heavy and falls down to the ground usually. The intake for this back AC was right along the back of the Divine Banana bed or at least 1 of the 2 beds and it would freeze up a lot because of that we figured.

There is a Russian biological product Bitoxibaccilin. It is harmless to humans, but very effective in killing spider mites.
LegacyMarketFarm
LegacyMarketFarm commented4y ago
@Harmar, Thank you so much for letting me know that I will have to research it and try it. I usually use end all but I will gladly do a comparison and see what is best. If it is best I will swap to it or add it into my regime. I prefer alternating between sprays for mites & bugs. The grower who apprenticed me told me it is best so they cannot build up a resistance to it as easily.
Harmar
Harmar commented4y ago
@LegacyMarketFarm, it is right. You can alternate chemical acaricides, but at least 20 days before harvest. And Bitoxibacillin can be used even in the last five days. That's the difference. Good luck and good harvests!🤜🤛

@Coopmc, It is well worth it that is for sure. The benefits outweigh the drawbacks. I am going to be doing tutorials of beds in tents as well once I complete my 4 plant tutorial series and try and find the optimal bed size for various tents.

@LegacyMarketFarm, Light rail $200 give or take I just don’t want my plants to strech and chase the light

@Coopmc, yeah the motorized light movers we used at this facility were very expensive i cannot remember their names but they were advertised as the best you can buy. I believe they were over 900 each. My wife and I had to constantly shuffle the plants around every couple days to get them all evenly grown was a ton of management on 3500 clones

Mites suck (literally too). I avoid them with good wind flow and occasional salycilic acid and chitosan immune boosters and trigger. Cheers.

@GYOweed, Yeah we kept them at bay this hole round no problem until the mater grower cut into the side of the building to add a new intake and some insulation landed on this exact group of plants. Mites must have rode on that insulation and landed and been like SWEET
