Hello people! Second diarie for me here. I just got a new 5x5 tent instead of my old 4x4 and this is the dream. Space for moving is really underestimated :D

First week have been hard for one of the seedlings... I was sure she would die and that I would advance with a 4 plants grow but she looks like she is back from the dead and goign strong! I also fabricated 5 self-draining sauce since recuperating the water on each watering was completly exauhsting. I'm waiting for a shallow pan pump to complete the system and catch the water in a 5 gallon outside my tent.

My setup for recuperating my runoff without troubles is complete. I added an humidifier to get my VPD in the norms.

I think I had some deficiency but it's under control now. I'm still far from flowering anyway. I checked the runoff and ppm were around 450 ppm so I pimped the solution to 600 ppm. Gonna transplant in day or 2 in their final 5 pot gallon, then I will give them enough time to fill the tent before flipping at the beginning of march.

Ho boy! Here we go at 29 days of grow. Plants are looking good. Did a LOT of defoliation et some LST to make sure the buds gonna be well divided to catch the most light. Secondary apex were tied to expand to the exterior of the tutor. Now my goal is to pinch the main apex inside the tutor to halt their grow and make the secondaries catch up in height. After that, I'm gonna switch 12/12. I think I'll need 10-14 days for those secondary apex to catch up (and lot of pinching).! See ya in a week!

I'm finally switching to 12/12! I got a great total of 39 days for the grow phase. Should be ready to cut in 10 weeks approx (may 7th).

Finally switched to Flowering! At first glance, my biggest one is the one bottom right. My guess would be the mycelium that improve roots and assimilation. Plants are thriving even if I high on my ppm run-off (intake is 900 and output is 1200). Switching nutrient right now and going for a 600-700 ppm intake for a moment and I will water a bit more to flush old nutrients.

Had a lot of defolitation to maximize my yield. Now I'm just gonna wait until buds are forming to add P and K. My lights are now at max height and I have 2-3 inch left for bud formation/stretch. Otherwise, I'll need to supercrop. My run-off is about 1100 ppm while my intrant is about 800 ppm. I do,t pla to change anything yet since my leaves are looking healthy as f*ck!

My grow light is at its highest and it still stretches! 6.2 pH and I am currently watering at 650ppm. My run-off is at 1050ppm (base water at 135ppm) so I'm around 900ppm which is a little high for my taste, but it's coming down from the 1250ppm where I was, so that's encouraging. Mega big defoliation and supercrop too... I removed a lot of secondary apex which diameter were small and not promising. never again so much growth (almot 40 days).. I'm going to do more plants instead. PS: my lamp is big pile of shit on the uniformity side... I have a big circle in the center (75k lux) and the perimeter is around 20-25k lux.... I'm going to change the lamp for the next crop!

Now at week 4,l exactly 28 day from switch. I expect about 6 more weeks till the cut. Did another big defo but it looks like I havent touch a thing! Anyway.. the smell is already filling the room so I installed my carbon filter. My run-off is around 1050 ppm (input is around 800ppm). I don't plan to change that since my base water is around 150ppm so 1050 is more like a 900ppm run-off which is a bit higher than I hoped (800). I really HATE my lamp. I rememeber being scammed by Amazon when I paid 450$ for this Phlizon 2500W COB. It's really the coverage that is so bad... all the light is concentrated in the middle 2 feets and after that, the intensity drop real quick. I'm sure that this is the reason why my plants stretched that bad. Mars Hydro (FC-E6500) gonna be my next try for the next grow.

Still going great! I water everyday with 700ppm solution and get a run-off of 1150ppm... but the plants are still trhiving. Still defolitating the big leaves... another month before the cut!

Started th PK for a week, then I'm going to slow on the nutes to reach the flush with a low outflow ppm/Ec. It's still the waiting game! BTW.. the smell is oustanding!

Well.. buds are densifying and also bending a lot away from the light. I cutted an underbud and checked the trichs and i'm about 60% cloudy and 40% clear. I'm at the famous "2 more weeks"! I'm feeding low (300ppm) and the runoff is near 500ppm. I'm still going to slow the nutes intakes and hope to flush 3-4 days before the cut.

I'm starting the flush right now... i think that in a week everything going to be perfect for the cut. Already "tried" a bud I cutted and the smell was amazing (even if chlorophyle could be tasted). I can't wait for the curing! (but not the trimming :( )

Just did the cut this morning. Now I've got my inkbird humidity controller going at 52%. The extractor fan and a humidificator is plugged on that device to make sure I'm going near 50% of humidity for the next few days. Inside the tent is two 6" fan at low pushing air toward 2 corner of the grow tent. Finally, just to make sure, I've got a deshumidificator in the room to make sure its stay under 55% of humidity. This going to roll for 3 days then i'm going to rise the humidity to 55-60%. Maybe 8-9 days of drying then the burping will start! BTW.... I will never choose anything else than ETHOS genetic for my next grows... the genetics are amazing. It was my 8th grow! I hope you had fun following me! I will come back for the total dry weight... How much you think? I bet around 400 gr.

When you cut the plant whole, do you need to spread each apex or you just let it like that? i'm afraid of mold... but not that much.

I hang whole plants and Air exchange and air movement plus humidity under 60% (50-55%) temperature the cooler the better and don’t over dry. I just finished off the last of our first round of potg and it’s tasty fire 🔥 Bag appeal is also no slouch.

you can leave it like that or cut each apex on a drying rack. For best results, you should hang or otherwise position your trimmed buds in a dark room with good air circulation and a relative humidity of about 45–55%. here a good article on the topic you can have a look for more details: https://www.royalqueenseeds.com/blog-top-tips-to-successfully-dry-and-cure-your-fresh-cannabis-buds-n682 Happy drying and curing.

What you have done looks fine. I hang mine like that most the time and never get mold. But my dry room doesn't get higher then 60Rh either.
