GrowingerFox This is the first time I plant cannabis.
I grow this strain with 4 more, all together in the same tent:
RQS - Green Gelato Automatic
RQS - Royal Critical Automatic
RQS - Northern Light Automatic
RQS - Royal Gorilla Automatic
First I soak the seeds in a glass of water for no more than 16h and put it in a dark place. Then I put them in a kitchen paper towel until I see a tail, to finally plant them in the soil.
I prepare the pot with the substrate Biobizz All-Mix and in the center where the seed is going I make a big hole with Biobizz Light-Mix.
The pot size is 15L / 3.3Gal
For now I only used bottled water.

GrowingerFox After germination I planted it on soil 16th Jan.
I know I have watered the plant twice after planting it on soil, but I don't remember the first day of watering. Sometimes I have sprayed it with water.
Ive been changing the lights potency the 6th and 7th day, and lets see if I don't burn the plants.
When I water the soil, I just water the center part, since contains the Light-Mix instead of all the pot. I will probably start watering it all soon.
Day 1 (17th Jan): First day of vegetation, it's very cute!
Day 5 (21th Jan): I watered the plant this day.
Day 7 (23th Jan): The plant is looking good to me, I sprayed it a little bit with water but I'm going to stop doing it, at least when the lights are on.
I've found a thrips on the other plant. I will buy sticky traps and organic neem oil.
I measured the light and at the top of the plant it measures 10k Lux. But my Lux meter is probably not calibrated for my lights, I need to search how to do that.
Day 8 (24th Jan): I've found a PAR test online and decided to set my lights to exactly 124W and 90cm/36". For what I've seen online my plants are not stretching, I've seen horrible cases though, in any case I hope now my plants will not stretch and fall anymore.
The PAR test I've found is here: https://chuckersparadise.com/threads/hlg-300l-rspec.2858/

GrowingerFox I'm still waiting for the neem oil I ordered online. Seems the dinosaur shaped sticky traps are doing their job, I've seen several thrips trapped there, but no more than 15 in total, so I guess there are not a lot. At least it's good they are being trapped.
My humidity sensor that turns on and off the humidifier is slow, and peaks are high, ranging from 40% to 80% in average, the humidity average is 65% though.
Day 8 (24th Jan): I've found a PAR test online and decided to set my lights to exactly 124W and 90cm/36". For what I've seen online my plants are not stretching, I've seen horrible cases though, in any case I hope now my plants will not stretch and fall anymore.
Day 9 (25th Jan): Today I watered the plants, this one specific I watered 1.3L I think it was too much for the pot size. I tried to water it slowly trying to not create a puddle unsuccessfully. I started seeing water coming out from the bottom, but maybe too much.
Day 12 (28th Jan): I decided to give more power to the lights, 200W after reading that in vegetation plants want 300-600 PPDF. I don't want to burn them and since they are not stretching maybe I should be careful. Another strategy would be to give them more light and pull back when I see signs of light burn, maybe I'll do that way.
It seems the max temperature of the tent has increased for almost 2°C. I have an extractor taking out air for 15min every for every hour, so 15min extracting and 45min not. For now I think is ok, in vegetation plants like a little bit more heat. But when they start flowering I will need to increase the extraction ratio.
Day 13 (29th Jan): I bought extra sticky traps and place 3 of them close to the edge of the pots, only 3 pots have them, not 3 in the same pot.
Day 14 (30th Jan): I lowered the distance to about 65cm/25" at about 200W, since the plants are going to grow, soon will be 60cm/24". At mid week I will put potency to max level, 249W which is about 560 PPDF. I wanted to water today but I think I will wait for tomorrow since soil is still moist.
Hey man clean looking tent. If it is alright with you I would like to offer some pointers to help out. First off when we expose cannabis plants to large temp swings between lights on and lights off we will make them stretch a lot and we do not want that. We want our temp gap between lights on and lights off no more than 9 degrees less when the lights are off. Your daytime temps are great, I would just shore up those nighttime temps to be within 9 degrees of your lights on temps to get more vigorous growth and more stacked plant development. Also if you have not done so yet get yourself a thermal laser temp gun and a PAR meter to better read your plants. I have a fluke 62 MAX and an apogee quatnum flux they are great. They will really help you get the most potential out of your lights onto your plants. For the wattage of lights you have you should be now slowly lowering them down to get as much light onto the plants as they can take comfortably. Cannabis plants leafs will curl inwards when they get to much light to shut down photosynthesis we call this taco'ing.
I hope this helps you out, friend! If you have any other questions please do not hesitate to ask I will help out any way I can. Check out my 200 light 7,000 plant diary and follow my profile. Happy growing friend!
