Gorilla Glue 4 - Fem / 1rst Grow life

Noweed Hey growers! Thank you all so much for the support on my first post! With a photo of some seeds and a tupper, I didn't have much hope haha Here we have the first week of our Gorilla's. After transplanting it to the pot and with it being October, I can't control the temperature. In the morning, it spikes too much. Also, the small humidifier I had at home (the typical aromatherapy one) doesn't manage the humidity well, so by the end of the week you can see the new humidifier. To top it all off, I watered with too much water and I have to wait practically 4 days for the substrate to dry. We're off to a great start...😕 For now, I've set the light schedule to 17/7 while it's a seedling and the height of the LED is 75cm, even though the company recommends it to be at 40cm... But I don't want the temperature inside the cabinet to rise any more. My plan is to gradually lower it. There's one that seems taller than the other, but for now, I don't notice a difference between them. They seem to be healthy and it's an achievement to have gotten to this point. Noweed Hey growers! In the second week, we can see that despite being the same strain, one plant shows greater vertical growth than the other with a larger distance between branches. On the other hand, the plants seem a bit down and show signs of leaf burn. We're going to try to fix it as soon as possible (Let me know in the comments what you think it could be). For now, I've tied them to a stick to straighten them out so that the leaves maintain their perpendicularity to the light. Will they die or will they recover?😮 Take care, guys!

Noweed Hey Growers! Tragic week. Misfortune has struck. I don't know what it's due to, but the older leaves of my plant are wilting. I think what they need is a bit more space, so I decide to act quickly before it's too late. At the end of the week, I transplant and give the beautiful maidens a new home. It's my first time transplanting, and I must say that even though I couldn't take photos and was really nervous, almost sweating, the result isn't bad at all. We'll see if they improve a bit in appearance. Give it a like to cheer them up a bit... It's sad to ask, but my plants are even sadder now 😂 See you, folks!! 🙏

Noweed Hey Growers, Miracle! Thanks to your support, the plants have received the energy and have recovered 🙌. We see that they look nice and lush green despite having the first yellow leaves. Since they look good, we're going to apply LST training so that the bottom part receives light and not stress them too much, since it's a strain with a hermaphrodite tendency. By the end of the week, we see that new branches have sprouted and now our queen looks bushier. I hope to keep up this lucky streak... Take care!! 🙏

Noweed Hey Growers! 👽 How's it going? We're entering week 5. Every time I update the diary, I realize how bad of a photographer I am. I hope to improve little by little (any tips are welcome). I use Cal/Mag to reach the EC I want, so I don't specify how many Ml/L I add, because depending on whether we use BioVega or Biorhizotonic, we add more or less. Here we are with the two princesses, applying LST technique and feeding them. In the latest photos from the last week (I promise to keep a more organized diary next time haha), we can see that the plants are a bit droopy, so I estimate they will need a transplant soon or urgently, because the lower leaves are yellowing a lot. Other than that, the humidity is a bit low for the state they are in, in my opinion, it should be raised a little more. Also, I need to build a better setup for indoor because this one isn't very practical for me; for example, I'm using a book as support for the shorter bush. Despite being the same strain, we can see how one has developed a wider leaf and is shorter, while the other is a bit more stretched with sativa traits. Thank you all for the support! Noweed What's up Growers?! Sorry for taking so long to update the diary, I've had to harvest and it's been a lot of unexpected work for me. Do you want me to give you a spoiler next week or would you prefer to wait? 😜 Let's chat a bit this week. We see the plant responding well to LST and it's not getting stressed. We notice some leaves turning yellow and looking a bit droopy. Probably because for the size of the plant, the pot is too small. At the end of the week, we'll do the transplant and see what happens in the next diary. I have a small infestation of black flies and there are more and more on my stickers... Flies please, I know the roots of my plants are as good as their future flowers but please, leave them alone. 🙏 If I get a lot of support on this post, I'll publish the next one tomorrow! 🤐 Have a good one!

Noweed What's up Groweeerss!!! Updating the diary: As you can see, they look amazing compared to last week 😍. The leaves aren't very green, and I think it might be due to a lack of nutrients in the fertilizer. The yellow leaves at the bottom are getting yellower. I understand that the plant is taking nutrients from those leaves... Nature and its survival instinct 👽 Other than that, we're still applying LST to the branches. I remember this is my first grow, and I have absolutely no idea about anything. So if you see that my LST is incorrect or could be improved, please let me know. 🙏 See u and take care brosis!

I'm sorry I couldn't post photos this week, I've had a lot going on and I'm starting to think my grow is going to be a failure, but I won't give up and we'll see this through to the end no matter what. I'll explain the week and you'll have to use your imagination. Sorry 🙏 I'm leaving some photos as a summary of the vegetation period. In week 8 we stopped applying LST and let the plant grow. Some weird brown spots are starting to appear on the leaves... Could it be some kind of nutrient deficiency? 😰 I'll show you photos next week. Lastly, we changed the light to a 12/12 hour photoperiod. Take care!

Noweed Hey growers! How's it going? We're entering week 9 and it's amazing to see the sudden stretch they do like magic. We set up the SCROG net but they've grown so fast that I haven't had time to train the queens, and honestly, I prefer it this way because I don't want to stress them out. I've put up more stickers because despite the great advice from @Lemon_Honey_420, now that we're in flowering and since this is my first grow, I'm not sure if it's safe to apply the organic insecticide they told me about. Another thing you can see in the photos are the brown spots I mentioned last week; I think it might be due to an EC issue. Can someone confirm this for me? Other than that, the plants have a wonderful green color with yellowish tones. I don't know why they have that color because almost all the diaries I see in the community have a deep dark green color. Can you help me with your advice? Noweed Hey Growers! How's it going? Our ladies have stopped growing and it looks like they're starting to flower, so we added Bioboost to start powering up the buds.... (Makes sense, right? 😂). I didn't expect such rapid growth from the branches. On one hand, we have an average height of 50cm and a main cola of 60cm. Despite the LST, I couldn't control that wild bud. That's why you'll see more than one branch taking up the scroll, which shouldn't happen. Other than that, they're starting to show the first pistils and seem to have decent health despite all the mistakes from their growth. There's a saying in Spain, "you learn from mistakes." Consistency is key! Take care!!

Noweed What's up! How is it going growers?! I'm pretty grateful because I'm finally starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Seeing how our plants were growing, I still can't believe the fantastic flowering I think they're having, and I say think because I have 0 experience except for the pictures on the internet of what a good bud is supposed to look like 😆. Just commenting a bit on the week, we see a nice color in the shape of our bud and more pistils are starting to sprout. The growth has left quite a few yellow leaves on our plants, so I don't know what impact that will have on our flowering. On the other hand, we also see some burns that could be due to that phase when the pH was a bit too high. We adapted our nutrients to the flowering stage by adding Bioflores and trying to create the best humidity and temperature environment. The humidity is going to be hard to maintain after having removed the humidifier due to lack of space, and the temperature being winter, I don't think I'll have problems for now. Noweed How's it going people!!! 😜 Here we are with the little plants, they're starting to produce a ton of pistils. It's mesmerizing to watch them. I'm having a bit of trouble keeping the humidity up in the cabinet because the humidifier I bought doesn't fit. 😓 The temperature is really high and the humidity is very low, but for now, they don't show any signs of dryness because it's been a somewhat humid winter. In one of the waterings this week, I confused Bioflores with Bioboost and I underdosed... 😐 The joints... 😂 I'll try to water a bit less to compensate for that under-watering. 👍 Watering is still a bit complicated for me, I won't lie. Every now and then, I accidentally give them a downpour xD How about the rest? How do you see them? 😘 Cheers to everyone!

Noweed What's up, dogs! Week 13. Have you seen how it's getting snowy? ♛♛ We watered one more week with Canna at the beginning of the week and then the corresponding Boost, Flora, and a bit of Rhizo to not neglect the roots. They're growing very well, but I'm still having a hard time controlling the environment where they are. It's very variable, and I think it will affect them at the end of flowering. Noweed Week 14: We only watered with boost and Cannazym. The trichomes are becoming more visible. Without any kind of experience, it's hard to compare, but looking at the buds of other people, I see mine are a bit small.

Noweed Week 15: We're still adjusting the fertilizer dose and watching the evolution. Late-flowering genetics, we're starting to see the trichomes turn milky. Not much time left until we do the root wash. Smells like pine and earth, another scent I can't quite detect fresh. It has a low smell overall. I guess it’s because of the number of plants.

Noweed What's up growers! We're entering week 16 of flowering and we're seeing how some of the buds are starting to develop some foxtailing. I think it might be due to light stress, but I can't confirm because the other plant is very short. We can see that it's losing the majority of its leaves on the lower branches. Noweed Hey, what's up growers!!! We're entering week 17. Just as the grow shops told me, I didn't expect to reach this week, nor with these results. But it's not as pretty as it seems. We can see how the rise in temperature and low humidity is causing stress to our tallest plant and foxtailing, which is preventing the plant from maturing. As I've said in previous weeks, there's not much I can do. We're entering the first week of flushing. From my point of view, I should have done lollypoping to increase the upper yield.
