As promised @ExperimentGREEN, my little runt was not really worth the dollars spent, but she was the most densely trichome covered plant I’ve grown. I learned very important skills I’ll put to use on my next real grow. This report is being written well after the harvest and cure, and I have vaped and smoked her, and she is delicious! I believe the extra long flush, during which I fed her plain water and sometimes potato or carrot tea, and the extra long drying period contributed to the complex flavors. First time I ever got spice and pine flavors! Mint and basil were companions in the pot - who knows how that helped?!
Thanks, @LumberjackBuds,
...mad scientist perhaps Lol.
A side by side trial would be ideal. Can’t wait to hear your review of your results. Best wishes for a great harvest!
@LumberjackBuds,
I don’t know if anyone else is drying root intact, but more importantly roots still in soil for a slow dry.
However I did multiple things so I can’t pinpoint if any one was the magic pill.
A long flush followed by drier than normal conditions. This in accordance with the fragrance industry’s method to induce maximum oil production.
And when I turned off the lights I left her dark for six days before inverting her. Total time drying = 12 days
Just get The Grow Book and Equipment Guide before starting your next crop ... and this time you will get quality and quantity...
You get the highest dankest quality when everything went well during all life cycle .... and if everything went during all cycle you get the quantity automatically ☝️
@MUDBUG,
The last month watered with only pure water or carrot or potato water. Trichs are right where I like then.
She’s been hanging root ball in soil in a bag for 10 days. Maybe 1 more day to go. Thanks for your comment
First time i see bag trick.
Dry with light is stupid and looks even funnier with bag.
Hope i am not too rude, just if the person goes for flavors and put even roots for breaking last bit of i dont know what , you would never expect that he dont knows what direct light does to drying plant ... ;P
@AsNoriu,
Drying with light is a terrible idea. She dried in total darkness but I had to light her to take the picture. Thanks for reading my silly diary and for commenting
