Hi there this is my first grow ever. Starting at week 3 because I didn't know about this website until now. I'm here to learn and get advice from more experienced growers. Anything helps thanks!
Planning on putting them into flower week 5, going to top half and FIM half during this week to see the difference of growth. Once put into flower I will determine the males and females and remove the males.
Just put into flower, hoping that the sex of the plants will show soon, so I can remove the males and open up space for the females in the bunch. Planning on starting to scrog the females once they are all sexed.
Sex has still not shown hoping that I can see it this week. Once I take out the males I will scrog the remaining female plants for harvest. Note: the pictures that I take are the start of the week not the end.
Hey guys, the sex finally started showing! I identified 2 females, 3 males, and am still waiting for one for plant to show. I removed the male plants and did my best to remove the root systems form the reservoir. I have one FIM female which didn't really do anything so I think I did it wrong. The other female is a topped plant that has been growing well.
A couple days later I was able to identify the last plant as a female, I had only planned to keep two so I gave the other female to a friend. I then started low stress training with the last two plants that I plan to go into flower and harvest.
I started LST the middle of last week and the plants are adjusting really well. Beautiful pistols started growing this week and last. They are growing tremendously fast and starting to overgrow the supercloset I have them in. The only way I was able to LST them was to put the branches right on the walls of my box. Very excited for buds to start forming in the coming weeks!
The buds are continuing to grow at a steady pace. Trichomes are starting to form on the biggest flowers in the box. The smaller flowers are also starting trichome production but not as fast of a rate. Did not do much defoliation this week, I want them to grow as big as they can get in these next few weeks.
This week will just be a waiting game and a little bit of defoliation now and them. Waiting for the pistols to turn amber so that I can start to flush. I'm thinking I have about 2 weeks left before harvest, but time can only tell.
Hey guys, this week I noticed that the trichomes were starting to fog up. So I decided to start my flushing process this week. I have swapped the water twice already with new non nutrient water with a pH of 6.5.
The grow was overall great, didn't have any major problems with my system or the plants. Produces very fluffy buds. Clipped and hung inside my grow box to dry for trimming.
