Day 1 Germination. I get my best results with a glass and a paper towel. Fold and insert paper towel, add water and drop seed between glass and paper towel. I place the seed at the water line. Day 3 Germinated. You can see how fast this germinated. This is straight water nothing else. One thing I would like to note, is after day one if the water surrounding the seed does not give an air pocket pull the paper towel from the glass gently until an air pocket is created and then gently rest the paper towel back on the glass, this ensures the seeds has enough air to germinate. I will wait until the root is about .5"-1" long before transplanting into a soilless mix. Day 4 Planting. So the images are not the best quality had to use phone. .5 inch seedling, pressing the mix with my finger until it covers my nail. Gently place the seedling into the hole and cover. Lightly water vs pressing on the seedling, too much pressure will cause damage. Place under light and … Day 6 We have a seedling. Now we veg...I will update with images probably every Sunday and maybe every Wednesday or with each stage. I like to top after the 4th set of leaves.
