Germination
I germinated 5 ILGM Fem chocolope seeds, they were soaked for 30 minutes and spent a few days in paper towels. I transferred them into cups with super soil after the root tip appeared, being sure to not cover over the seed completely. I was always able to see the seed after this point. They took a couple of days after to push the root tip into the soil, abandon the seed shell, and stand strong sprouted.

I was on vacation and watching from a camera. This is weeks 6-9 of Veg for the sake of not having a million pages. They filled out the tent alot. I started seeing some problems with the 5th extra middle plant towards the end of the vacation.

I made a time-lapse while I was away for weeks 6-9. I had a helper water, and its interesting to see the plants sway with the watering cycles. Too bad I didn't continue this through flower. Maybe next time.

Strong healthy stems and nice green leaves. I defoliated the bottom 30-40% and threw a couple layers of nets over them over a few days. The flip to 11/13 has commenced and removed the 5th middle plant as a mother/backup. Dropped the humidity to a constant 40-50%. Gave a 3 tbsp topdress of them flower nutes. They got 9-10 weeks of veg total, I just don't have enough content to post.

Heading towards day 14 now. I saw lots of stretch in the last week, I put up another net , single layer and the plants caught right up to it. Pistils are starting to set in.

Lots of bud swell was seen this week. Hermie pods were developing on the lowers of all plants and were picked off daily, it will likely be seeded, but hopefully not too many. I have been seeing less pods each day, but I can tell they are still developing. The trichomes are really starting to pile on. A suspected nitrogen deficit has popped up on a couple of lowers, but it isn't too much of a concern yet. I used some "BAB," and I plan on another light bokashi topdressing within the next week. High humidity is returning this week, so I'll have to manage that before it becomes a problem.

What week of flower should I stop spraying the plants with IPM? I dim the lights one morning a week and spray using BAS EM5, Coconut Powder, and Quillaja wetting agent. I haven't seen any pests, almost halfway done at day 29. Last spray was day 24, next spray is planned day 31.

I'm seeing lots of trichome and bud growth. There is some minor yellowing of bottom leaves which has progressed from only a couple leaves last week, to most of the bottom leaves. I top dressed them with a low nitrogen bokashi feed, and gave them some BuildABloom, so I'm hoping I see this yellowing resolve or slow its progression. I decided against spraying my IPM of EM5, coconut, and quillaja during this 5th week of flower. The terps were really setting in this week too, making me salivate. I have been seeing/picking less nanners/hermie balls recently, but they could just be concentrating in places where I can't see them. No pests, except for me... lets hope I can resist temptations until these ladies finish!

Homemade High Nitrogen Ferment 2.642 mll
Week 6 of flower, the buds are fattening up and triching out. The terps are super sweet and very potent smelling. I haven't seen very many nanners or balls lately, but I have seen them popping through the buds occasionally. I still inspect daily, but some days I don't find any, so I hope it won't give me too many seeds. I did notice that the bud that gets the most intense light has started having tips pointed upwards and flipping its leaves. I attributed this to heat stress, so I moved that light over bit. Day 38 update: this last week I was only watering with distilled water and the yellowing has progressed, so I assume I was right about the nitrogen deficiency noted a couple weeks back. Today I top-fed with a homemade fast acting high nitrogen organic fertilizer, we will see if this helps. Also nothing in my current flowering feeding regime has a lot of nitrogen, so I think this will likely solve the problems. I have also decided to give them an extra 15 minutes darkness for a total of 13.25 hours darkness, 7.5 minutes extra on each end, tell them its almost time to finish with ~4 weeks left. Day 40 update: still been pulling herm balls and nanners off the big one, the others seem to have stopped, but i still check them daily. Gonna be slightly seeded for sure, but I hope not too much. Also, the yellowing seems to have been managed after that nitrogen feed.

I think this is heat/light stress. The tips of the leaves yellow and point upwards, while some leaves are trying to flip over. Temps get up to ~80 right under the light, and this bud gets greater than 2000 µmol, but she looked like she loved it up until this point

That is looking like heat stress to me as well. notice the canoeing of the leaves as well. Overall the plants looking fantastic tough, congrats a successful full grow. 80f is 26c 87f is 30c, try and keep it at or below 80.6f/27c and you should be fine. Could try and increese the extractor fan speed to move some of the heat out, but if the ambient environment is also hot where its sucking in from it won't help to much in that regard. 2000umol/s is high, if you don't have any supplemental CO2 going in maybe cut back on that a bit. Best Of Luck!

Hoping to see lots of bud densing this coming week. The smell of the terps this morning was crazy. A bit over 3 more weeks, I can't wait. Day 44 update: Leaf yellowing has definitely been slowed, and senescence of lower yellowed leaves has also seemed to stop. Some leaves that continue to be of concern are particularly those accumulating anthocyanins, likely due to my low night time temps. I think they are doing very well, with some very minor problems. This cycle is in the winter for me, so the humidity and temps has been low, but I am happy to not have had to deal with pests or mold like in previous cycles. Day 45 update: broke out the loop today to inspect the trichs, still looking very immature, as expected given there is still a few weeks left until the planned harvest date. Today I watered in a 1/4dose of Buildabloom, some quillaja, pineapple fpj, and some rootwise enzyme elixer.

Start of week 8 flower: buds are swelling a ton. I have been seeing leaf colors like yellow, red, and purple begin to set in. With how close it is to harvest, I am not really concerned. I'll keep feeding them with buildabloom to hopefully not starve them out completely, and let the trichs develop. Over this next week I suspect they will start getting more amber as bud swell slows. Day 52: I'm just starting to see some ambers, I chopped a couple testers, but I forgot to get pics of the trichs. I've seen lots of bud swell so far this week too. Their days are counting down.

Buds are noticeably densing up, some are starting to tip and sway. At this point most of the pistils have gone brown. There are only some that have not completely browned up yet. The trichs are still mostly cloudy, some clear, some amber. I've seen some visible developing seeds, but it doesn't seem too bad. Over this next week or two I'll be checking the trichs, I cant wait to enjoy these buds. Day 59: Trichs still maturing, buds densed up pretty good, expecting to harvest very soon. Purp is really starting to show, the phenos are pretty.

Day 63, into week 10 of flower. The buds are big and beautiful, and the plants have really slowed down their uptake. In the final home stretch now, yesterday I took some lower tops as testers. They are hanging and drying still, but the buds seems nice and dense. I plan to harvest within the next week or so. I have been raising the lights and lowering intensity going into this last week.

Day 67, I know its a bit early for another week, but I've decreased the amount of light they will get today by turning off a light, and I will probably give them 24-48 hours in the dark starting tomorrow. I will also be drought stressing for the rest of their time. I would describe the trichs as 10-20% amber on the lowers, so still nearly ready, but the darkness should ripen them up, and terps will be crazy. Day 68: Permanent darkness began last night, and after just 18 hours in the dark, I can definitely see a buildup of trichs and the buds appear tighter/ with more recessed browning pistils. I plan to give them another 18-24 hours of darkness, even though the physical appearance change has happened already. The leaves are beginning to go yellow and crunchy dry as the buds suck the last of their energy and water. Day 69: Chopped after 36 hours in darkness. Harvest update coming soon. Chocolate fruity spicy terps.

Got any good suggestions for next grow based on my most recent diary? We are at day 67 today. What can be improved for next grow? Any good strains or seedbanks for fat buds? If I run autos, can I fit two in a 20 gal of topdress living soil?

AMS has a good record, and Im waiting on a few strains from them now as we speak. Also have seeds from green House Seed Co on the way too. The more Indica leaning a strain is, the bigger the buds tend to be, And if you can get it look for a strain from AMS called Apple Fritter- last time I checked they had 2 packs left. Its going to dominate - trust me on that one. If you want Autos, Mephisto- cant beat em.

Day 7 since chop: We are pulling a long dry on these fat gals, We are at one week since chop, and a couple days ago I pulled a couple smalls out early for testing and fast dried them at 75F 30-40%RH. The gals getting the long dry are at 50-60%RH and 55-65F, so they will need a bit longer still. The terps are chocolate and citrus/fruity tasting. The high is very uplifting from what I've tested. Final harvest update coming very soon. The buds are very tight and dense, very nice crunch and beautiful trichs.
