Week 6 of flower, the buds are fattening up and triching out. The terps are super sweet and very potent smelling. I haven't seen very many nanners or balls lately, but I have seen them popping through the buds occasionally. I still inspect daily, but some days I don't find any, so I hope it won't give me too many seeds. I did notice that the bud that gets the most intense light has started having tips pointed upwards and flipping its leaves. I attributed this to heat stress, so I moved that light over bit. Day 38 update: this last week I was only watering with distilled water and the yellowing has progressed, so I assume I was right about the nitrogen deficiency noted a couple weeks back. Today I top-fed with a homemade fast acting high nitrogen organic fertilizer, we will see if this helps. Also nothing in my current flowering feeding regime has a lot of nitrogen, so I think this will likely solve the problems. I have also decided to give them an extra 15 minutes darkness for a total of 13.25 hours darkness, 7.5 minutes extra on each end, tell them its almost time to finish with ~4 weeks left. Day 40 update: still been pulling herm balls and nanners off the big one, the others seem to have stopped, but i still check them daily. Gonna be slightly seeded for sure, but I hope not too much. Also, the yellowing seems to have been managed after that nitrogen feed.

Would you have chopped it already, if you had seen this on your plant? (Possible hermaphrodite week 3)

Not possibly, but definitely male flowers. Just remember, any seeds produced from hermaphrodite pollen will result in seeds with a genetic dominance to be hermaphrodites too. If it is a hermaphrodite, that is, with female flowers on the same plant, I would chop without hesitation. If it is a pure male, that is, with absolutely no female flowers on the same plant, you could use it for breeding. Try Sweet Seeds, they are awesome and offer superb genetic stability. Seedsman operate out of Spain by the way. Personally I have had very poor service (if you could call it that) and very ordinary results from their own branded seeds. Needless to say, I will never deal with them or their products ever again. Pev Grow, also in Spain, are an incredible web store that I can highly recommend, with 1000s of strains and the best prices I could find on the net. They also have super simple credit/debit card payments, ship Worldwide and freebies with every order. I just love them! Hope this helps, Organoman.

I am gonna spray my hermies with this stuff that has Ethephon in it. Hopefully itll deter my herms from making pollen. I was wondering if anyone on here has it and if its effective for them? I'm only gonna try one or two at a time in case it hurts them. They're just herms anyways

This is the EPA regulation on it. https://www3.epa.gov/pesticides/chem_search/reg_actions/reregistration/fs_PC-099801_1-Apr-95.pdf This link break down PGR's on cannabis. https://highalert.org.nz/articles/what-is-pgr-cannabis-and-how-do-you-spot-it/ If you plant is hermi, call it a loss vs treat it with chemicals if you plan on smoking this bud. There is a small line in the EPA document saying plants sprayed should not be consumed for 2-60 days after treatment. Don't know what it fully means, or why its such a wide window. It also recommends not spraying aorund grazing areas of animals. It causes organ toxicity but not linked to caner as of yet, this all regarding Ethephon. I would avoid it and just get better genetics, it also kills off flowers that product the fruit, I would like to think this would be the whole flower m+F not just the male parts. Bananas also release ethylene gas much like that product does internally in the plant cells. Could toss a bunch in the tent every week and hope for the best lol. But if the plant is prone to hermi traits I don't think this will solve it. Good Luck!

What week of flower should I stop spraying the plants with IPM? I dim the lights one morning a week and spray using BAS EM5, Coconut Powder, and Quillaja wetting agent. I haven't seen any pests, almost halfway done at day 29. Last spray was day 24, next spray is planned day 31.

I think this is heat/light stress. The tips of the leaves yellow and point upwards, while some leaves are trying to flip over. Temps get up to ~80 right under the light, and this bud gets greater than 2000 µmol, but she looked like she loved it up until this point

That is looking like heat stress to me as well. notice the canoeing of the leaves as well. Overall the plants looking fantastic tough, congrats a successful full grow. 80f is 26c 87f is 30c, try and keep it at or below 80.6f/27c and you should be fine. Could try and increese the extractor fan speed to move some of the heat out, but if the ambient environment is also hot where its sucking in from it won't help to much in that regard. 2000umol/s is high, if you don't have any supplemental CO2 going in maybe cut back on that a bit. Best Of Luck!

No real estimate really... I'd keep checking them every few days at this point. I wait until I see my first few ambers before I even consider chopping.

It looks like you are entering the beginning of the harvest window. When you harvest exactly now depends on the effect you want.

Got any good suggestions for next grow based on my most recent diary? We are at day 67 today. What can be improved for next grow? Any good strains or seedbanks for fat buds? If I run autos, can I fit two in a 20 gal of topdress living soil?

AMS has a good record, and Im waiting on a few strains from them now as we speak. Also have seeds from green House Seed Co on the way too. The more Indica leaning a strain is, the bigger the buds tend to be, And if you can get it look for a strain from AMS called Apple Fritter- last time I checked they had 2 packs left. Its going to dominate - trust me on that one. If you want Autos, Mephisto- cant beat em.

@johdlong, you got some beautiful buds off that. I don't think mine will come in at that weight. I flipped to flower pretty early to accommodate some autos in the tent. Great looking grow!

Looks like pollen sacs to me(95%) Unless you don't mind seeds I would scrap it. You could pop one off and break it open to check. Just don't break it open by your plants. Open it to inspect and if it is douse it with water. Water kills pollen. Good luck
