Started in water glass on 3/3. Moved to paper towel on 3/4. I have a heated mattress pad, so I tucked her under the covers and waited for her to germinate. Placed in starter pot on 3/5. Sprouted 3/7
Live in Phoenix metro and we have a small business called the Arizona Worm Farm. I used their raised bed mix on the bottom of the pot and their seed starter mix on the top to plant the germinated seed. Purchased herbs from big box store and recycled their pots to grow the seedling in. It's really nice because it has a wicking stick so I can water from the bottom.
@Red_Rockst4r, I actually sewed the bag myself out of a plastic cloth. I messed up this grow by not planting directly in this pot. I think transplanting made it flower too early. 😕 I'm much happier with my photo grows - My Durban poison with it's 32 node mainline makes me very happy. My hubby is currently building a support structure for it. I have probably 2+ months before flowering starts. Hoping if I can keep her alive through the hot Arizona summer, I'll have a monster harvest come fall.
