DarkSteak This week, a layering was done on all the plants, which helps prepare the plant well for training. An addition of root stimulators and mycorrhizae through light irrigation and an addition of bacteria via foliar application.

DarkSteak This week, a bit of training to let the light benefit the secondary branches. On some pots, the spirulina added to the substrate is coming back to life. I add it for the vitamins and other trace elements it contains that benefit the plants and the life of the substrate. Added Bactosmoz as a foliar spray with rainwater on and under the leaves. Otherwise, nothing too extraordinary... +++

DarkSteak Started fertilizing this week, spraying Bactosmoz under and on the leaves with rainwater. Trellising at day 22. 18 days before switching to 12/12.

DarkSteak Switched to 12/12 on 03/08/2022, feeding to avoid any deficiency issues post-stretch. Had a little overfeeding issue with a cal/mag blockage resolved by adding enzymes to a plant that was less hungry for nutrients than the others. Growth and development are identical for each pheno across all the ongoing genetics. It's a pleasure to work with Dutch genetics; I highly recommend them for beginners...

DarkSteak The stretch is happening for the more sativa-like ones, while the more indica ones are starting to enter flowering. Pinching and defoliation are still in place, and a few apices have been tied down to keep a uniform canopy. The bamboo stakes were set up to help keep the apices upright for the upcoming lollipopping. Bloom feeding will start at the next watering. Last use of Bactosmoz in spraying, the next addition will be with Mycosmoz in irrigation. The plant with the cal/mag blockage still shows some signs of blockage, but nothing too serious.

DarkSteak Week when flowering arrives, everything is going well, the over-fertilization of the plant has passed thanks to the enzymes, everything has returned to normal. Fertilization is done every other watering.

DarkSteak The flo is doing well at one week, added Mycosmoz and Bactosmoz from Biosmoz through irrigation. Added some black molasses too to properly feed everyone and keep the substrate nice and alive. Defoliation on top to let light penetrate at the bud level. Watering is regular every 4 days with 1/4 of the pot volume, which is 2.5L.

DarkSteak After 3 weeks of stretch, here we are at 16 days of flowering. A defoliation during the last watering, so yesterday, a few branches bent to keep a uniform canopy and ensure that all the apices have the same distance from the lights. The plants are still being fed at the dosages recommended by the fertilizer manufacturer, and bacteria and mycorrhizae are being added through irrigation. The flowering is exploding as it should, and it's getting more and more beautiful with nice big buds; the trichomes are already well present, and the smell is strong, thanks to the FAC for doing its job right. Feeding is done every other time, and the addition of PK will start at the next watering, which will be at the beginning of the 3rd week of flowering.

DarkSteak Maj flo + 16 Varieties grown: Jorge’s Diamonds #1®️ The Ultimate®️ Critical Orange Punch®️ Fertilizers: Byo technology Bloom A + B Recommended dosage one watering out of two + pk Watering: 1/4 pot volume or 2.50 L every 4/5 days depending on the plants and the weight of the pots. Temperature day/night: 24/25 days 20 nights. Humidity: 34% permanently. The flowering is exploding, we can already see a huge difference compared to last week and the smell is very present, I would even say it stinks strongly. Luckily the FAC is there to help with all this, otherwise it would be unbearable in the grow room. The addition of Bactosmoz and Mycosmoz is still done through irrigation. A good defoliation was done again yesterday before watering to let light pass well at the bud level, some branches were folded again to control their height, as The Ultimate®️ and Critical Orange Punch®️ are growing relatively high compared to Jorge’s Diamonds #1®️ which is much more indica. +++

DarkSteak My flowering is reached, leaf stripping every week for light penetration and lollipopping. The flowering is exploding with the addition of PK, just two more waterings with nutrients and then we move to flushing.
