Pheno #2 - Losts of fade happening on the few fan leaves that are left. Smells like Strawberry Twizzlers Licorice.
Pheno #1 - Similar strawberry smell with more spice coming through. May have spotted a nanner within one of the tops closest to my power strip. I was looking really closely and realized the power strip had a light built into the on/off switch, so I think that's what caused it.
Pheno #1 is definately showing more purple colors with shorter, more rounded top colas. Smells like a peppery grape.
Pheno #2 Less purple color, taller spear shaped top colas with a stronger Strawberry/Grape aroma coming up front.
Both phenos have excellent bract to leaf ratio and the strain descriptions from the breeder are pretty spot on.
Pheno 1 - Tops have turned completely purple while lowers are all still green. More frost present out of the 2 phenos, has a sweet smell with some underlying strawberry or grape.
Pheno 2- Took longer to swell by about a week and pistils have been taking longer to dry off. Smells really strong like strawberry twizzlers.
Both phenos ended up with a strong grape smell with gassy undertones. Pheno #2 had the stronger stem rub smell the whole grow and it translated into the dried flower. Very terpy. Would recommend if you haven't tried any of the other Ethos "grape style" cultivars.
Looks good!, I'm in veg with 2 StrawbOG's, did yours veg the same/one smaller than the other? Also i have 2 different leaf types showing already; I'm hoping 1 is that OG/pine pheno... hard to tell from pics but are yours different leaf shapes/edges too? Happy growing!
@BLT2go,
They both vegged very similar, but not exactly the same like one was a little smaller. I was also hoping for the OG/Pine pheno but I don't think I got it. They both really stretched a lot when flipping to flower so its better to be more aggressive with training.
Lookin good! Just so u know/Ethos posted a lil pic/article recently; even Colin was calling em "calyx" before, but proper term is known now; it's "bract", calyx is a hardly/not visible part... bract/leaf ratio looks great indeed tho!
Looking real good! I just finished my first run with this strain. Amazing terps and colors towards the end of flower. By far she smelled stronger than the francos lemon cheese, strawberry cough and sour ripper. Not the PuTang though. Shes definitely got a lot of keepers though with the blankets of frost.
