Started 2 seeds in a glass of water, both germed and transferred to peat pellet. When trying to gently remove helmets today, one came off and the other pulled the baby out. Obviously my fault, not ILGMs.
So one survives and hopefully thrives! Got the partition up in the tent, so now I have a seedling/veg side and a flower side. Moved them into a peat pellet once the root popped, and will put them in a fabric seedling bag peat pellet and all once they start really popping.
Developing normally, looking happy! Have started light nutes since I am growing in Coco, just a touch of base A and CalMag. Going to try a 24/0 light schedule the rest of this week and then pull back to 18/6.
So far, so good. Developing nice roots. Interesting leaf shape and coloring/pattern- never seen that before, but have always gotten quality genetics from ILGM, so trusting all is well.
Still very much in the beginning stages, but satisfied with growth. Will likely be transplanting up this week. Have not previously used the fabric seedling bags, so wanting to make sure the root ball gets as fully developed as possible before I move her into the 1 gallon fabric pot.
Miss Cali seems to be perking up quite nicely. I transplanted her up to a 1 gallon fabric pot this week, and probably by the end of this week will be transplanting again to her 5 gallon permanent home and beginning LST as able. Will also start increasing nutrients next week.
Got her transplanted up this week with no problems. She's looking happy and healthy. Started adding some additional nutes (sugar and sulfur) this week, and next week will add silicate. Planning to begin LST shortly.
Started adding silicate this week to the feedings so she grows up nice and strong with healthy thick branches to support all her future buds. Also began LST this week. I liked how it worked using adjustable tomato cages on my other run (Check out my Big Bud!), so am continuing that and tweaking my process a little.
Ok, remember I said there was a break that I splinted last week? Well, the part of the plant on the other side of the split was wilted and dead when I got back from vacay this week (I warned my plant sitter to be very gentle lol). But, the rest of the plant looks perfectly healthy, so I removed the dead bits. Also raised the light a bit today. Was hoping to be able to move her into the flowering side of the tent this week, but will want to wait a week or two to let her fully recover from the stress.
Holding steady. I plan to keep her in veg a bit longer to let her get bigger and also recover from the accidental topping. She has bounced back well so far!
My little girl is growing up! Did a little more light LST this week, and happy with how she's recovered from the stress of the accidental topping. I just moved her into the flowering tent tonight, so she's going into her first week of 12/12. Fed and added 1/2 tsp of Base B to her usual blend.
She did quite nicely her first week in the flowering tent. Added base B, kicked it up a little to 1tsp from a half starting yesterday. Starting to see future bud sites developing - this is an exciting time!
Transitioned fully to flowering nutes this week, and happy to see several bud sites developing. Have done a touch more LST as able this week. Very happy with how she is developing!
Happy, healthy plant! Glad to see her developing pretty quickly. Have been able to continue some light LST, and did a bit of defol today. Very pleased with how she is developing! And the tent is starting to pick u a bit more odor, which is always lovely to walk into. ;)
This lady is growing up strong and fierce. She's starting to smell a little. I'm going to start switching up how I deliver nutrients based on a friend's success.
Y'all, this lady is starting to get stinky and sticky in the best possible ways. You can probably tell which bud I'm in love with because there are more photos of it than anything else lol. I just think the pattern of the leaves and the frosty budlet are beautiful to behold.
