DWC ETHOS Unreleased Punch Line & POTG

DAY 0 of flower. Starting 12/12 tomorrow. Oh man do I miss water culture/ hydroponic growth! Amazing. This is about a week in I’ll have to double check numbers. Keeping EC around 1.2 and not gonna up it unless necessary.. well I’ll bring it up to 1.4-1.6 during peak flower for sure, but I’m not running these crazy 2.5-3.0 numbers any longer. Excited to see these babies play out! ———-Midweek update ———— These are doing excellent still. Drinking a significant amount. Down to 1.0 Ec and low on solution so I just bumped it up to 1.4 with some added 0-10-10 liquid kool bloom So EC at 1.4-1.5 pH at 5.9

Stretching slowing down. I pretty much nailed this one one training and amount of tops.. IMO Too few tops seems to stretch like all hell.. Looking great tho. POTG triggered flower a bit quicker cuz it was from clone. But PL have been vegging long enough that they flipped quick too.

We are officially 20-21 days in now. Wish I woulda taken clones of these punch line but I’m done with clones for a bit. This is ETHOS Planet of the Grapes Ezzjay cut 1 & 4 As well as ETHOS Punch Line (Cherry Punch x Lilac Diesel) x2 from seed Check out my other 2 POTG grows to see these other phenos. 1&4 are the big yielders Lots of drinking and feeding on these EC Target is right around 1.4 or 700 PPM pH shooting for 5.9-6.1 at this stage I’ll say it again I’m loving this DWC growth. Grew some monsters in coco with POTG but had issues with dryback and salt build up.. this alleviates that inconsistency. I’ll either switch to mainly DWC going forward or get automation set up for my coco runs.

Well I’m winding down on this one.. annnd overall winding down use of GD cuz I’ve lost a lot of what remaining faith I had in their platform.. more so the ability to maintain it even at just a mediocre level. I’ll only probably be doing a diary at a time, no more documenting a majority of what I got going. Anyhow. These got a bit hungry the last 5 days as evidenced by the yellowing lowers. Punch line crosses looking real nice!

All is going well. Let these go a bit longer than anticipated and without pH and EC adjustments and they definitely ate up some nutes and caused some pH flux also. Course corrected last week and they still show it but we’re on a good path now. Both bulking now. Punch Line x (Cherry Punch x Lilac Diesel) is showing pheno variation. This can be attributed to the fact that these are not official releases. These are just strains that they’ve started out and have not hammered out the genetics quite yet. The pheno 1 is amazing on the nose.. berrys and sweet. Ridiculously tight buds and tight nodes. The pheno 2 is more sativa leaning in overal morphology. Stretched a bit more, seems it will take a bit more time than 1. Terps are quite a bit different.. this one reminds me of Durban poison. Wish I woulda taken cuts of 1 but I’ve gone down that road of taking cuts of every last plant and it gets outta control and hard to maintain everything. If it seems that special at chop I will attempt a reveg.. BUT I’ve got so much coming down the line in the way of killer genetics I’ll likely stop with keeping mothers unless I’m gonna breed with it or go large scale. Coming along decent Been really hands off and pushing envelope on this.. borderline neglect So there’s been some swings causing a few issues and whatnot. Day 47 of flower. Very distinct phenos in the PL cross That one is End Game PunchLine x (Cherry Punch x Lilac Diesel)

Been trying to push envelope on this to minimal input, nute checks, top ups etc.. that’s really backfired the last 2 weeks or so.. pH tanked to 5 on one of them. They look decent given that fact tho. Planet of the grapes is fading hard and they others beginning to as well.. Less than 1.0 EC now.. slowly drop it in the next few days .. Pulled first PL on 4/14

Everything’s down now. The smaller PL pheno came down at about 60 days which was a bit longer than it coulda used.. other PL came down around 63 days total. As well as POTG clones. Those had aphids still SOMEHOW after Athena’s insanely priced IPM (which if it works I’m all for - when it doesn’t it’s frustrating at $160 a gallon) Anyways, I did a bud wash to eliminate any nasty residue shits from them or anything bad in general. Man those PotG are just champs. Treated like second rate the entire grow. Once a week pH and EC checks and adjustments, one single change out (no cleaning just a change out) the entire flower cycle. Easily pull 3/4 of a pound from the 2 combined. Glad I preserved the genetics of that PotG 1 cut - hit it with the reversed BB pollen. Still have PotG 3 mom.. she’s impressive too, just not the crazy yielder than #1 is. My buddy has a cut of potg1 now finishing up I’m curious how it does. First PL harvested got 3.5 oz before final beauty trim.. reminds me a lot of the planet of the grapes. Second PL is wayyy diff pheno (these are untested freebie genetics so not refined) huge spongey sativa like buds. Should get 4-5 oz from that one. Terps wayyy diff as well. Reminds me of Durban kinda, citrusy. Stay tuned & Thanks for following along !
