2nd week of grow. First week was a shit show brought on by my own ignorance. Over watered them to the point of death (I had never used solo cups before). I transplanted super early into some 5 gal fabric pots in an effort to salvage these poor babies.
They look as though they are starting to rally.
If you look at the bottom leaves, you can really see how close they came to death.
They are still fairly light in color, but they're slowly getting better.
I originally just had them in Promix HP and worm castings. When I transplanted them, I created the same mix and added Gaia Green AP. So when their roots stretch, they'll hit the dry amendments.
Well, it looks like these girls are going to be fine. Their color came back and they are starting to stretch out.
Just watering with R/O water ph'd to 6.5-6.8.
Week 4 - I topped both plants at the 3 nodes down from the top. Both plants had 5 nodes. Then, I waited a couple of days and defoliated.
Both plants seem to be doing fine.
Week 5 - I top dressed with Gaia greens all purpose 4-4-4. And have been watering with R/O water ph'd to 6.5 to 6.8. I supplement my watering with Cal-mag once a week.
The girls are coming along well. I had to leave for 2 days due to work, so that's why the leaves look droopy.
I continue to apply low stress training techniques to try and grow wider.
Week 7 - top dress with Gaia Green 4-4-4
- defoliated lower fan leaves on both
plants.
Week 8 - high stress training on the smaller
one. Pinching her branches to open
her up a bit more.
- fed cal mag +.
I vegged these girls for a really long time. Like 13 or 14 weeks. Because I was going to take clones from her. She was getting too big and I didn't have my clone stuff ready and I was worried about the stretch over growing my tent so I flipped her.
Last week. Trichomes are clowdy enough to chop. I kind of wish I let her develop more amber but this grow was soooo long and I was over it. I just wanted to start other grows and I needed the space.
I did a very light wet trim before hanging this whole plant for 10 days in a dark room with 55 % humidity. Once I got the stem snap, I spent 3 days trimming and jarring. Left this one to cure for 3 weeks before smoking. I saved the trim and packed it in freezer bags to make dry sift hash.
I manged to get 92 grams dry/trimmed off both plants.
