Germinated directly into soil in a 4 gal pot. Usually germinate in paper towels but decided to go right into soil because I've had good luck with germination lately. Used mostly soil from a previous grow amended with kelp meal, fishbone meal and worm castings from Coast of Maine. Excited to see if I can fit a sativa dominant strain in my low height space. Lots of training will be necessary. Follow for an exciting grow!
Bean popped yesterday, but kept the container over it for 24 hours to keep the seedling at a high humidity. Just took the cover off and the seedling looks healthy and fast. First time ever that the root stem poked out of the hole and not the leaves. I flipped it around carefully, and everything has been great since! Excited for this beautiful lady
Got a little dry in the tent last week and seedling started to dry up around the edges of the leaves. Corrected this problem and now the humidity is up! Seedling is starting to develop, but was likely stunted a little bit due to the dry conditions burning the edge of the leaves. still looking good!
Started to LST on Day 21 looking really good, and I like the leaf structure on this plant. Long lobes with deep ridges of an interesting shape. Pistols are already getting thick in the nodes. Hopefully lower branches still have time to grow out! Looks good so far!
First let me apologize for the gap in the grow diary, but will try and go back to fill in the missing parts. Life got busy and did not have time me for the diary. Meanwhile the plants have been developing without intervention.
This girl has really surprised me. What is supposed to be a long stem variety, is the shortest most compact plant I have ever seen. I am not mad about it, just shocked. Maybe it's the genetics of this seed, or maybe it was stunted early on somehow. Who will ever know. The structure is so dense that the entire thing has become one massive nug. This makes it difficult to leaf trim and water, but the results are top notch. The mega bud has great shape and already so dense. The smell is amazing, a pungent lemony, cheesey, musk that hits the nose as soon as you open the tent. In a few weeks I will start another one of these seeds and hopefully achieve the long stem plant I thought this was! I can already tell im going to love the terms on this one!
Some yellowing and drying on the four or 5 larger fan leaves that were removed today. I have not fed this plant since planting so it's likely just running out of nutrients. Only about 2 weeks left to this girl so she should make it to harvest. Lower temps are night have caused a bit of the bud leaves to start turning a lovely pink color. Excited to take this one when it's all dried up. Such a potent smell!
Looks like at week two it was perfect, so I deduce that there was root problems where the roots did not develop properly for some reason and she never recovered. The root structure will determine the plant structure. You should give the eazy pyramid a go, it automatically gives the best possible root structure.
