Hello my friends,
👉 I started this diary on week 5.
👉 Earlier this month - 16 days after taking clones of some of my most beautiful feminized RQS seeds - I potted the clones into small pots, filled with Plagron Lightmix (0.75 liters).
👉 24 days after cloning, I topped the plants, to keep only four branches on the plant
👉 Today, 34 days after cloning, I topped the plants a second time, so I got eight branches now.
👉 Today I also repotted 8 beautiful plants in 8 autopots XL Smartpot (soft fabric pots of 18,9 liters).
The plants were spoiled with the top products of Gen 1:11 😋
👉 On the bottom of the pots I placed an airdome.
👉 Then I filled the pots with 5-6cm expanded clay pebbles.
👉 On top of that I put a mix of 15 liters of 50% Plagron Light mix / 50% Perlite + 120gram Biovin + 5gr Flower Safer (=mycorrhiza) + 30 gram RQS Easy Boost
👉 I sprinkle some Flower Safer around the roots of the plants while repotting
I use a humidifier to keep the humidy high ! 😰
8 plants (clones) :
👉 2x Cookies Gelato #2

I topped the plants twice :
👉 First topping on day 24
👉 Second topping on day 34
👉Now the plants have 8 shootings
On day 40 :
👉 I placed some wooden plant sticks in the pots
👉 I bound the shoots to the sticks with plastic binding straps
👉 So the branches remain at the same level, and I get a flat canopy
I performed a limited defoliation of some old leaves
👊 Last week before flowering.
👍The photos are taking on the last day of the grow periode.
Every 2-3 days I rebind the plastic binding straps, to bend the longest branches so that they come as high as the lowest branches.
👉 I connected the autopots to the watertank.
👉 I connected the air domes to the air pump.
👉 I use plantcare products from GEN 1:1 (with the watering can)
👉 I removed the plant sticks.
👉 Plants can grow freely.
👉 Immense growthrate. Plants almost doubled this week !

👉 Plants have almost stopped growing. Every plant has been topped twice. Ever plant has 8 mainbranches
👉 I have put wooden bars under the smallest plants so that the canopy stays flat
👉 Plants are now concentrated on flowering. Daily producing more flowers
👉 Some lower leaves are turnning yellow. Plants in need for nutrients
It's have been a great week ! Plants are doing extremely well. I try to keep the plants as green as possible.😘
👉 In addition to the water- that the plants get from the water vessel through the autopots - I add liquid nutrition daily via the watering can.
👉 Spread over the day I give the 8 plants 10 liters of water with a nutrition solution of GenOneEleven according to their schedule.
👉 I avoid giving the plants too much in one go. The plant must be able to absorb it immediately, so it doesn't end up in the water reservoir at the bottom of the autopots.
Wedding Gelato is definitely one of my top favourites of RQS USA collection 😍
I grew 3 clones of original Wedding Gelato feminized seeds : 👇
👉#1 is the smallest plant, but the biggest yielder. Medium sturdy branches with thick round peaks. A sweet scent with a spicy undertone.
👉#2 tends to have thinner branches with smaller and very resin-rich buds spread over the entire plant. The plant has an open leaf deck with smaller leaves. Sugary smell and taste.
👉#3 is the tallest plant, also a big yielder. Sturdy branches with spiky buds, therfore more difficult to trim. Beautiful plant. Berry smell with spicy undertones.
I think Wedding Gelato is one of the top US strains of RQS. I cut clones of a previous grow of original feminized seeds. I finished for the second time a grow of these clones. I had no problems with sexswitch, male balls or bananas. Clones are great because you know what you can expect, so you can get better to grow that certain strain. The disadvantage that you miss the unpredictability and the surprise effect of seeds.

I kept this pheno because of her extreme grapefruit smell while flowering. Every time I touched the plant, the whole growroom fills with a sweet soury grapefruit scent. Her buds are thick and beautiful on the plant, but the cured buds are not a visual highlight.
Cookies Gelato is a superb strain from RQS. I took some clones of plants I grew from original feminized seeds of Royal Cookies by RQS.
I got 3 phenotypes :
👉 #1 Beautiful plant. Sturdy branches, beautiful leaves. Buds are spiky., so not that easy to trim. Beautiful colors and bud appearance. Strong purgent smell with scents of red and black berry. Top Grade ! 😍
👉 #2 I grew two plants from this beautiful pheno. Also sturdy branches like #1. Buds are bit less spiky, so easier to trim. Rock hard buds. Strong purgent smell, and more sweet than #1.
👉 #3 Different type. Much more open structured plant. Smaller branches, smaller leaves. Smaller buds too and more spread over the plant. Even more dark purple colors.
