I have all 5 of my power punch seeds pop and got them into small pots that is a half strength mix compared to my normal( I just make my soil normal then add extra coco) they are under 19 hours of lights and I have my auto flowers going next to them. The seedlings have been in the dome for about a week now and I'll be removing the dome in the next week. I was having problems with my environment on my other grows but have since bought a bigger tent from 2*4 to a 8*4 and have since had much better success at controlling my environment. I hope these girls grow well and I have plans on keeping 1 or 2 of the stronger plants for a mother to start my clones instead of needing to buy seeds every time .
I took the photos out of their dome. 4 of the 5 look really healthy and the weak One doesn't look bad either. My autos are flipping into flower but my mix seams strong for the ak 47. So I'll have to adjust it for smaller indica plants in the future. Time will tell how they bud out but the other plants seam to like to mix so far so I'm looking forward to watching them grow. I used different training techniques and pot sizes to see how these strains react side by side but tbh for right now all of them look similar regardless of the training.
It's the second week of veg for these girls and everything seems to be going well. I have 1 autoflower in the center that I'm starting to suspect might be a photo but I'll give it another week before I go to a twelve twelve on this plant to induce flower. My other plants are looking good in this tent and my new light came last week(the day after my last post) so I raised all of my lights bc it's bright as f with these little lights spread out.
4 of the 5 are still looking good. The weak seed that popped I ended up moving into a small pot and I'll probably end up getting rid of this one. Out of the 4 that are left all look healthy but I have 1 that the growth has been consistent so I'll most likely keep those one for clones and here over the upcoming weeks I'll start my training on the other photos so I can flower then out later. All of the autos are starting to go and my candy cane and 1 of the ak 47 is going to be the first to finish and I can't wait(my jars are empty).
Just another week of veg. I ended up getting rid of the weak seedling that I had and used the extra dirt to help top off other pots in the tent. My auto flowers are coming along and I'm hoping to have more room for these growing ladies over the next few weeks.
Well I saw an explosive week of growth with the autos in my tent and I got myself into trouble with over watering everything. It was very dry and I wanted a good soak but the soil just held too much. I'm using a light mix with perlite and hydroton as airation but I'm still in my first year of growing and am learning how to feed effectively for the different stages of growth. I believe I can get these girls back in line and my mistake will further engrain the importance of keeping my water light and more often if needed but just soaking it down within a few minutes is detrimental.
Well the girls are getting back to normal. No new yellowing of the bottom leaves from last week's watering mishap. I'm planning on starting to clone the stronger two plants next week and I'll be main lining the other two as they start to bush out over the next 3 to 4 weeks. My autos are starting to finish so it'll be nice to have some cured smoke again here in another month. Just looking to continue growing these girls out but I've got a while before I can think about how this power punch will taste. Stay green growmies
The girls are starting to come back. I have had problems feeding with my dry amendments in the past but I think I've found a way to help feed with the Gaia green line. I've been trying to save these girls from my mistake of too much everything and am watching my vpd and dli a lot closer and have been able to start to see the positive health of my plants since then. I have some of my auto flowers finishing so I'll have room to grow these girls out I think I'll go close to another 3 weeks and then I'll flip into flower.
Well it was a good week of growth. The girls have started to bounce back and we're getting closer to flipping them over to flower. I'm going to go a few more weeks to allow for some big growth to happen but I'm ready to get these plants flipped.
Just another week of holding temps between 72-75. Everything is looking good and I've been doing some lst and topping on these girls while the auto ak or ams supreme not sure which one she is tbh but she smells amazing and I'm going to enjoy her in a few months. I have learned from my first grows to have the jars stacking so I can stay in that sweet lemon Haze of some good cured pot. But learning how to be patient and feeding through the different stages has been a learning curve for sure. I'm just glad to have some green growing 😊
I flipped the girls over to flower last Wednesday and gave them a good defoliation and trained a few more of the branches. My last autoflower carmalicious is closing in on the finish and she's getting frosty and by far the most dense buds I've felt so far. I'm using 2tbl of 444 and 2 tbl of 284 with a tbl of basalt with my water as feed. I'll feed them everytime once we start to have fuzz balls but I think I'll be feeding every other time for right now.
It's the wild west and the girls brought their pistols. Things are green and growing I pulled the last auto out of the tent and moved the lights a little closer after spraying the girls out to their spot.I threw a net over the top and depending on the stretch I might throw on another layer in the next week or two. I have some jars to smoke and some to cure so I hope things stay smooth. All the best to everyone growing and I hope these updates help.
Well I missed 3 weeks in the diary but the girls are still growing. I started to have issues with potassium deficiency but I wrapped my fabric pots in Saranwrap and gave added some fresh soil on top to help kill off the fungus knats and to build a heavier layer of potassium without messing up my ph. I have one plant that is frosting up so nicely I'm afraid I won't be able to share this girl
