My Grow Buddies...!😜 I think I might have found a princess! - Terpene Bomb - Feminized | Photoperiod Sativa Dominant Hybrid Flowering - 56 days Fruity, citrus like aroma, similar to Pineapple and Grapefruit "Tortuga 99th is like an island princess. A nice body, elegant style and a perfume somewhere in between fruit cocktail and a sea breeze. Impossible to miss the energy of her appearance as well as her fruity scent. Most can’t stop smiling around her. One pheno grows a bit taller than the other one. Besides that, they both develop very similarly. Both grow thick main flowers which swell up during the last two weeks of flowering. A stable and reliable strain for everyone, from beginner to pro. We crowned our princess by the end of a long search for the one and only. The search was hard, lots of different peoples’ opinions on how the one and only princess should look, smell or taste. We believe this is as close as you can get to perfection, ideal for chilling on the beach. We named our princess after her heritage, Cinderella 99." -Source: Website One of my first grows was Cinderella 99... and I have to say she tasted awesome! So I am quite excited to try some of her family weeds!😁 Thank you @Pilchards Let's break it down... Sanding: So, not sure how many does it this way... I seem to get great results by giving the seeds a very light sanding... helps weaken the shell so it can absorb more water and help with the germination process.👈 Soaking: I never fully germinated with just a glass of water... I like to give them a good soak then off to either coffee filters or paper towel. Paper Towel: I usually go for the coffee filters... not something so coarse as paper towel. Since I don't have any filters at this moment, I split the paper towel in two... takes some of the coarseness away. Solo Cup: I find it's the best method for me not to over water them at the start.😅 Environment: 3'x5' room with diamond-cut mylar all over, Oscillating Fan with 3 speeds, Humidifier with 2 settings. Light: Viparspectra P2000, uses only 200w and equals a 500w HPS... correct me if I am wrong!😁 It also has a dimmer switch... Sweet! Soil: Kryptonite Organic Soil... Just add water! I have to be honest... it is the only way I grew so far and I have to say it works pretty good!👍 I'm starting them off under the Viparspectra p2000, then eventually around the two week mark... maybe three, I'll move them under the Big BP4000. With these girls being sativa, I am once again going to mainline them. I will definitely switch them early once I get the eight arms... hope they don't grow too big... (terrible thing to hope for)😂 That's all folks.... Happy Sanding!👉😲👈

The week of wonders... Here we are with the four horseman... ah, I mean weed plants!😂 When these four girls showed their roots, it was pretty clear on which one was the big sister and which one the runt was going to be... I'm just happy so far that all four are on the grow! I'll make a custom dome and hopefully it helps #4 along. As for #1, She has wobbly stem, so I gave her a bit of help. Middle girls are just chilling along!😁 Heat is a little high for this stage of the grow, so I'll add and extra fan to help out... having the exhaust 90% covered doesn't help... except with the humidity, which is the reason for it. I'm liking the new light, and it puts off some heat. This is where the dimmer helps out. I have been going between 50% and 75% intensity... for now. Once the seedling stage is over, BAM... full brightness!😀 Water at the most is about 30ml, and we can see that is going to change quickly... Once they take off, it's go time. I'm going to try and keep these girls as close to the same height as possible... I know I am definitely mainlining at least one of them. All depends on how the others grow, I might just do four arms with a couple of satellite arms. What ever I do, I know it's gonna be fun!😜 Anyways, that's all I have to say on that... Happy Growing!👉😀👈

Week of... ah!... f@ck!... shit! 😳 Started the week off pretty good so I decided to get prepared for transplanting. The mixture I like to use on the first transplant is Kryptonite and Pro-Mix with a 1:1 ratio. I do find the mix to throw the pH off a little for the first couple of days... once the microbes intertwine with each other, it works excellent... (I guess that's how it works😁). I'll add about a cup of water (250ml), and let them sit for 2-3 days... helps to activate the soil. A couple of days later, it's transplant time... and that's when ah!... f@ck!... shit!... happened. Only three girls were ready to be transplanted... #4 will always be behind until the first day of flowering! Transplanting #1 went smooth... the pictures of the root system tells all. 👍 Transplanting #2 also went smooth... didn't take any pics of the roots. Transplanting #3 did not go smooth... Since I forgot to take pics of #2, I decided I would for #3. I had the root ball in the same position as #1 pics, and then I dropped the phone right on it and the dirt exploded, leaving a pile of roots in my hand.😲 Panic set in, so I grab the nearest pot, (which wasn't the one I was going to use), and placed the heap of roots in the hole... I watered #3 with my tears! 😭😂 After all the insanity... I place the girls under the BP4000. The next couple of days, I seen some struggling from #2, a little bit of lime green colour from #1 and #3 is great! #4 never joined her sisters in the bigger room... she's going to hangout with the others for a bit longer and when she's ready, I'll unleash the insanity!😈 Temps: Staying around 25C Humidity: 45% most of the time... Bigger room Water: 250ml The week ends off with the girls doing good... maybe even a little better then good!😀 I would imagine #4 will be getting a transplant next week, and after that, we can get into some fun ass training!😄 Until that time... Happy Growing! 👉😀👈

Transplanting and Training Week! 😎 The week started off with a good ole transplant... #4 could have waited another day or two, but the excitement or medication took over.😜😂 She settled in good, gave her a little drink since she was already nice and moist, then she joined the rest of the girls under the sun! Last week I think I said it was #3 who took the beating... I was wrong... it was #2. She is still a little shell shocked, but after I removed a couple of messed up leaves, she was looking better by the end of the week! Next we have #1 and #3... It was time for them to lose their tops and get ready for some old school bondage!👈 I found that it works well topping at the 3rd node... only when the 5th node is starting, that way, there should be a really good root system. I also like to remove the lower nodes and keep their corresponding leaves for an extra week... it seems to help a bit with the stress. I'll probably remove them on the next topping. Temps: Sticking around 25C - 26C Humidity: Started off good in the 40's but it seems to be dipping down into the low 30's... I'll have to throw the humidifier in Watering: 1.5 L of water for #1 and #3... for #2 and #4, they had about 1 litre each By the end of the week, the girls are looking good. I will have to keep an eye on the humidity, but besides that... BAM! Off to next week! Happy Smoking! 👉😜👈

Great Week! 👌 After a week of transplanting, topping, and low humidity, the princesses are looking good! This week I'm doing a lot of training with them... #1 and #3 will have eight arms in the end, #2 will have six arms, while #4 will probably just have 4...👈 I had to top #2 at the fourth node and removed the third node. I'll be keeping nodes 1, 2, and 4. By no longer stressing it, she should recover on time with the others. #4 is a little behind, but she is starting to catch up... let's see if cleaning her up allows her take off! Temps: Keeping it around 24C. Humidity: Got it above 40% finally. Water: #1and #3 drank 2.5L for the week, #2 had 1.5L and #4 had 1L. At the end of the day... the girls are surviving and getting closer to their final transplant... then on to the smell!😲😂 Happy Growing! 👉😀👈

New week!😎 The four Princesses grew a good 3 inches this week... still a little stressed though... must be from all the chaos! I'll start with #3... broken arm... long story short. Nothing good old duct tape can't fix!😲 Next, #1... I don't think she likes to be mainlined.... Then we have #2... topped at fourth node, removed third node, kept nodes 1, 2 & 4... (6 arms total)👈 Finally #4... really nothing... just taking her time. I have done a lot of mainlining now with different strains... some love it, and some strains do not. With Tortuga, it's interesting watching how each girl takes to it. I'm pretty much at the end of the training for now. Each girl was watered three times this week... all having 1L each time. I'll probably give them a good soak before the transplant. Temps: Hanging around 24C Humidity: Staying in the 40's Water: 3L I'm going to do a final transplant before the girls get switched in the next couple of weeks. That should give them enough food to get them to the end. Happy Growing!👉😎👈

It's the Final Transplant... Week!😅 The week has come for all the ladies to get in their forever homes. Each home is a 7 Gallon fabric pot with lots of room for growth. One of the nice things about the fabric pots is that watering from the bottom up works so well.👍 So, #3 has healed and bounce back!🙏 With all the transplanting, I usually fumble something up... BAM!!! Not this time.😁 Each one went smooth... even with all the one hand picture taking!😂 Each home was prepared before hand and misted on the insides to keep the soil in place. The roots on the girls are pretty decent... some a little better then others, but I believe they will all do fine. After each one are in their homes, I also did some training where I could... Once they bounce back, I'll give them a good tie down!💪 They had 4 Litres of water for the week. 2 litres top down and 2 litres bottom up. Once everything settles down, I will add some fresh top dressing just to top the pots up! Temps: 25C Humidity: 46% Water: 4L In a week or two at the most, I will be switching them to 1212... all the training will be done and the girls will be ready to flower! Happy Growing!👉😍👈

Week of the Fools! 😜 Great week! The girls are doing really good since the transplant. Each girl is doing their own thing... Two of the girls have 8 arms, one has 6 and one has 4.😲 The two 8 arm girls have different stances... #1's arms are more spread out compared to #3'a being fairly tight. The girls had 6 litres of water this week. Up 2 litres from last week. Did a defoliation and I grabbed some clones to test... let's hope they root!😁 I'm thinking this is the last week before the flip... I usually wait until they are 20" tall because Sativas can double and possibly triple in size. These girls are only 16" and I'm good with that!👍 Temps: 25 C Humidity: 46% Water: 6 L Light: 100% Thanks for stopping by! 👊 Happy Growing! 👉😜👈

First week of Flower! 😎 Not sure why everything was erased... but let's do it a second time... just won't have the same info!😡 Princess Cinderella Tortuga the 99th... Great girls! I switched them a couple of days into the week. I just went straight 12/12 instead of the 24 hour darkness first. All four girls drank a whopping 11 Litres of water each this week... that's impressive!😍 I did a little defoliation to get rid of anything that was taking up energy... anything below the canopy. Week B! 😂 What a great week for growth! The girls just shot right up... even after doing a little defoliation on back to back days. Their white hats are starting to form, and the stems are thickening up!👈 In the past, I usually did a defoliation 1 week prior to flip, then on the 3rd week of flower... not this run. It felt like I was in there everyday removing anything below the canopy... where the sun don't sunshine.😲 So far, the girls didn't get stressed out from it, so I guess I pick the right time! I did have to spray again for bugs.... damn bugs, I thought I got rid of them but noticed some shiny/dull spots (depends how you view it) on the big fan leaves... I shielded the white hats from the spray, and gave them a soaking. Top and underneath every leaf I possible could. If there are still any left, they will have to stay for the duration because I don't want to get any of that shit on the buds... don't want to ruin the taste/smell of them!😵 Out of the four, the six arm girl(#2) is the tallest... about 27 inches. The 2 eight arm girls(#1 & #3) are about 23 inches and the four arm girl(#4) is about 25 inches. I had all the arms tied down, but #2 is so much stronger, she pulled the clips right off the pot.💪 If she starts to pull away from the rest, I'll find another way to tie her down to the same height as the other girls... if not, I'll adjust the light all cockeyed so it doesn't burn any tops. I know I probably make some growers just cringe when I remove as much as I did on the defoliation.... I'm just not a big fan of larf or small buds stealing energy away from the tops. I left some side branches that reach the canopy, which will in return give me some tight smaller nugs!😁 I will be doing one more defoliation around the 6 week mark... just to remove once again, any larf, big fan leaves, or small buds. That should be enough until the finish line! So, for the next couple of weeks, I'm going to try and keep my hand out of the cookie jar!😂 Temps: 25 C Humidity: 50% Water: 8 L Light: 100% Food: Organic Soil Happy Growing!👉😁👈

Week 3! 😎 Fantastic week! The girls are getting their "puff ball" white hats on, which is great to see. A couple of more weeks of growth vertically, then they should start to really get their fat on!👈 They didn't drink as much water as the week before, even though the tallest is now 30 inches. 💪 With the temps being around the 26C, I would imagine they will uptake more water in the weeks to come. I'll probably start adding some Blackstrap Molasses to the waterings... it's good for the soil which in return should be good for the girls! 😍 I tried my best this week on not doing any defoliation... and the canopy grew in really nice. Might have to remove one or two leaves in the following weeks if they're interfering with the beautiful bud sites. I don't believe I got rid of all the bugs, even though I haven't seen any new damage, those little bastards hide good!😠 Over all, everything is on course... Week 4! 😎 Princess Cinderella Tortuga the 99th! You best be good with a handle like that...😂 The girls are growing fantastic!!! All the white hats are out parading around the room... showing off and looking good! Stacking is starting to form nicely on the shorter arms and pretty good on the taller arms. The tallest of the four is #2 with her six arms... Her node spacing is a little more spaced compared to the others. They're starting to get somewhat of a fruity smell to them... there is another smell mixed in, just can't identify it right now. 👌 How their drinking schedule is set up, they only drank 8 Litres this week... they got 4 Litres each every three days. Next week it looks like their schedule shows 12 Litres for the week... hope they're thirsty!😂😅 I didn't add any blackstrap molasses this week, but I am definitely adding some to the watering this week. That should help the soil!😁 Enjoy the week! Temps: 26 C Humidity: 44% Water: 8 L Light: 100% Food: Organic Soil Happy Growing!👉😁👈

Week 5! 👍 So far Tortuga is extremely easy to grow! She bounces back from heavy training and defoliation. Sometimes the heat can get up to 27C, and it doesn't bother them... and all I'm giving them is water since I'm growing in living soil. I have three different training methods on the go, and Tortuga likes them all.😀 Mainlining was the main goal, which two of the girls have eight arms... one girl with six, and one with four. The girl with six arms is the tallest with her nodes a little farther apart then the others. The four arm girl is next in height with better node spacing, and the two girls with eight arms are the shortest but have the best node spacing! I'm pretty sure I will do a defoliation in week 6... Tortuga is built for the 56 day mark, so it's time for her to concentrate on getting fat and not wasting energy on the big fan leaves. The girls drank 11 Litres of water this week... on the first watering, I added Blackstrap Molasses with the ratio of 2 TBSP (30ml) to 1 Gallon (4L). Next week on the first watering, I'll probably do the same... it's good for everything!😁 The smell is getting strong... I can only identify the fruit smell... not sure what else is mixed in... almost like a cedar smell.😵 Make sure the carbon filter is working!😂 Guess that's it... Week 6! 👍 Princess Cinderella Tortuga the 99th! These four girls might be princesses, but they're growing like ogres... big and stanky...😂 and they're just getting into the last couple of weeks which is when these princesses fatten up.😍 The girls only had 8 Litres this week... which I already expected. Did not add any Blackstrap Molassses this week. Did a defoliation about mid-week, not as much as I planned, but enough to make a difference. The buds are quite tight for their age.... which is a great thing 😁 and a nice sticky coating so far. PCT-99th has a sweet citrus smell like pineapple but also supporting a dank smell... almost an earthy body odor...😵👈😂 From here on out, all the girls should need is removal of a leaf or two that get in the way and good ol' water. Thanks for stopping by...😀 Temps: 26 C Humidity: 45% Water: 8 L Light: 100% Food: Organic Soil Happy Growing!👉😁👈

Week 7! 😁 Beautiful week! All four girls are just doing fantastic! A couple of them started to change colour both their fan leaves and the sugar leaves... The fan leaves are turning everything from a reddish colour, to the dull, end of life yellow colour.👈 The sugar leaves are turning a nice purple with some dark reds...😍 It's getting close!!! The buds are super tight... probably the tightest I've squeezed to date!😂 Even the secondary buds have solid centres... There is not much larf, but I bet they will be tight as well.💪 All girls drank eight litres of water again this week... The first watering, blackstrap molasses was added at a ratio of 2 TBsp (30ml) to 1 gallon (4L) of water. The next time I think I will reduce down to 1 TBsp... Princess #4 didn't seem to like it as strong.👌 The temps are a little high at times due to the nice weather here on the Island... the humidity is higher then I like also... I added another fan in each room to combat any thoughts of mold and such...😲 Not much more to say, so.... I'm out!!! Princess Cinderella Tortuga the 99th... I think you might be the Queen!😍 Great for training, bounces back fast!😀 Smells a lot like the parent Cinderella... A nice strong pungent grapefruit smell!😍😻 Fast flowering: 53 days after 12/12 switch. Now that's a nice outdoor grow strain if you need to finish up fast!😁 Perfect for cloning. Everyone rooted.😁

Harvest Week!😍 These four princesses certainly surprised me this week! Right out the gate, they were showing a lot more amber then I anticipated... so, I started to get the girls ready for their final week. I removed pretty much every leaf that had a stem longer then 1 inch... where they're going, they don't need em'😅 I watered them at the end of last week, so I'm not going to bother giving them any water at all... I don't flush since I'm using organic 'living' soil... I have tried both ways and there was no difference at all.👈 For past grows, I have tried the darkness method, and I do have to say that I do see a difference on how much more stickiness the buds get!😍 If I have the time at the end of the grow to put them in darkness, I try for 36 - 48 hrs of total darkness... I always make sure that the girls have all their big (stem) fan leaves removed for better air flow, plus I use 2 - 3 fans on them to keep the WPM away.👈 These girls got 48 hrs of absolute complete darkness... no peeky peeky at all!😂 I always like to do a wet trim. I find they dry better and smell better with everything gone... and I like the fresh scissor hash...😂 For drying, I'm trying to keep the temps between 18C - 20C.... which it's more at the 20C mark. Humidity is perfect at 53%... I'm shooting for an 8 - 10 day dry, but will take a 6 - 8 day dry and nothing less!👈😲 I'll add info when I do an update after drying!😀 Happy Trimming for 6 hours! 👉😵👈 Update: July 24, 2022. The drying process only took about 6 days. I wanted to dry them a little longer, but didn't want to keep the humidity up to high for to long.👈 For the curing process, I burped them everyday for the first two weeks, then every two days for the next two weeks, and now, it's about once a week or whenever I want to take a great big whiff of the girls!😍
