Slightly better weather than before, I hope my little plant gets to work soon, I want to see explosive growth! :)
Day 16, things are now finally starting to move along.
Day 20, small black flies turn up and decides to feed off of my plants leafjuices.
They did not have my permission, so I turned them in to little balls of goo.
I probably did not get every single one, will keep an eye out for them.
I damaged one of the cotyledons in my assault on the pests, but one slightly ruffled cotyledon is better than a million leafsucking larvae.
But maybe she'll take it."
Yep, she is managing, but is none too happy :D
Day 21, the other cotyledon is now damaged as well, I now blame the pests, for both!
The poor girl is visibly upset over the drowning attempt she was subjected to the other day, rookie mistake number one. Shame on me, I should have known better, even as I was pouring I was thinking "shit, too much."
If you think I should do something other than kill the pests and wait with the water for a while, you are welcome to say so.
Even if you agree with the plan, say so, I won't have to feel as guilty when/if she dies :P
The main problem with this plant, was lack of roots.
The soil may have been overcompacted by overwatering, that's my guess.
Will grow her again.
EDIT, yep, I most certainly will enjoy, thanks :)
@CRiSPrGrow, I would think that action would disturb the roots further. Right now, I think you're boned. In the future, add 20% coco and 15-20% additional perlite to your base soil, before planting. That should 'air-up' your soil some.
Nice journal! Keep it up!
My next grow is soon coming up, I now need your help to decide which strain to pop.
I will have two strains going under a 315w CMH.
One is going to be a C4, the other one is for you, the people, to decide!
All are Fast Buds cultivars.
Your choices are as follows;
Cream Cookies, Zkittlez, Californian Snow, Fastberry, G14, Stardawg.
EDIT 9th april 23:25; The grow space is now near completion, germination will begin within 24 hours.
Plans have changed, going for three plants instead of two, will hopefully be just fine :)
By the looks of it I will have to choose the strain myself!
