Been away for a while. Weather was really crappy and the nights were around 40 degrees, so I could not transplant earlier in the season. I wasn't able to until 05/25/22. I normally transplant in April. Hopefully everyone is doing well, I will stay in touch more now that they are in their forever homes. Fingers crossed that deer don't get clever and jump the fencing, though I'm going to double layer it so they won't attempt to. Good luck on your grows and have a great Memorial day weekend!

I agree on the use of vinegar, and would also recommend getting a pH meter as it often doesnโ€™t take much vinegar to lower the pH to where you need it. This was the top tip somewhere in the Fast Buds blog.

@Northern_Ent, I need to try the newer pH meters. When I did this back in 2012, the meters weren't that great and I had quite a few fail on me even after keeping the sensor wet. I use the liquid pH testing solutions that you get from General Organics.

Your pH knowledge is pure old hippy shit when you could not buy a shit ;)))) pH + - from Dutch passion or so will last you 5 years for 20ยฃ max. And it will keep your water buffed not for a sec, but for long and more stable. Just had to point out, maybe some fresh grower will go your way. In outdoor garden for veggies, when you check soil in spring or just enrich her - yes, aches are good not only for raising pH, but again you have to be cautious with amounts.

@AsNoriu, I think you mean as topical solutions, no? I would never spray vinegar on plants, that would be insane unless I'm killing weeds. I mix the solution into my fertilizer, I have hard water that gets around 7.8 pH and I use apple cider vinegar or molasses, molasses woks better imo and that helps lower the pH, I also use a bubbler as well. Been growing like this for over 15 years without any issues. I understand you want to make sure misinformation isn't being spread, but you can look this information up online if you don't trust me as a source. I apologize if there was any confusion and I hope for the best! https://www.chelseagreen.com/2021/how-to-use-vinegar-extracts-to-enrich-your-soil/ https://marijuanagrow.shop/news/molasses-and-cannabis/

@AsNoriu, That one looks good. We don't have those options in the states. Most pH products we have are not organic and have fancy logos on them or are pretty overpriced. Europe tends to be more efficient in that field.

@FreeRangePessimist, and just to make clear, spray water with aches and you will protect your onions from worms and powdery mildew, you can protect young cabbage too that way, but for cannabis... Honestly , I would bet you overdose it in soil, while trying to adjust each watering. It's still builds up. pH up/down solutions are not so pricey and works well. Just my two pence. All the Best !
