Being Mephisto Freebies there’s not a lot of info on how these particular seeds grow. I found them low maintenance, they weren’t the thirstiest girls I’ve grown and I found quite late on they didn’t like high temperatures, caused over half of them to foxtail. That being said the trichome production was there from week 2 of flower and by the time I cut them down they were some of the greasiest plants I’ve grown to date! I left a decent amount of the sugar leaves on while trimming with the hopes it will slow the drying process by a few extra days, between 7-10 days hanging, then into jars with humidity packs to cure. It’s been a fun grow and an exciting introduction into the Mephisto brand, over the last year I’ve managed to purchase a few different strains on there Monday drops so il definitely be running some more in the future. All five plants were easy to trim and I caught a decent amount of trichomes in my trim bin which have been pressed into some lovely pale hash. When I open the jars to burp your hit with a thick stank, I can only compare it to the smelliest StarDawg you can imagine, but with a fruity twist. The buds aren’t the densest, but a lot of that was due to the foxtailing late into flower. I found in the last few weeks of flower as I lost control of my environment and the heat skyrocketed, they didn’t respond well and went from what looked like beautiful solid buds into frosty fluffy foxtails, that being said im still pleased with the outcome. I’m a fairly heavy smoker and smoke from the point I wake up to the moment I’m passing out on a night with half a spliff nestled beneath me. First smoke impression I was pleased, even tho it’s uncured it has a thick pungent taste that lingers on the tongue and throat and the high is almost instantaneous. I smoked two joints back to back and had a nap that could be considered a full nights sleep! Hope this diary has been helpful and il be growing more Mephisto strains in the future, happy growing 🌱💚
