so far so good friend. You are doing so much right for your first grow it is very impressive. Nice temperature management, Good humidity. One question what is your swing between lights on and off in temps? In veg & early flower up to week 4 - 6 of flower we want tight gaps, no more than 9 degrees less with lights off or our plants stretch a lot.
If you do not have them yet get yourself a PAR meter & A thermal laser temp gun to help you manage your light to plant distance and get the most potential from your lights. I use the FLUKE 62 MAX & an apogee. Keep up the great work man congratulations on getting into growing & if you ever need any help or support feel free to ask. Check out my profile & follow me I got1 completed diary and working on another 200 light 7000 plant diary & a flashback greenhouse diary :) I am currently producing a youtube tutorial series for all levels of growers to utilize. If that sounds like something that interests you check out my youtube and subscribe. It is linked off my grow diaries profile. Happy growing!
@AKHillbilly, looks great man, those swings are exactly what we want right now. But once our plants finish growing vertically by weeks 4 to 6 of flower, we can then begin to open up the gap to more than 10 degrees less with lights off and a bit more each week. This when timed right initiates the plants instincts to send more energy into the budding process and resin production as we simulate the ending of the season. Light deprivation in the last 2 weeks and cold feed temps in the last week help really good too.
If you want to look into some good plant training techs, check out FIMing, it is the topping method we use as it is fastest and easiest to do on tons of plants once your used to it.
We do a combo of FIMing and the SCHWAZZE to get our plants producing big yields.
When we do defoliation or lower growth removal it is important we schedule it and never randomly pluck leafs off our plants. The day we do it, we finish the room and remove all leafs and plant material from the room and house entirely in a bag. Not just cannabis plants, but all plants in general will send out a "scream" when they get damaged alerting all the other plants around it. When cannabis is exposed to this itll slow its growth right down and stall out for 24hrs. So it is vital we stay to our de leaf schedule.
We must make sure we have our plants fully trained and de leafed before we get too deep into flower or any more removal will stunt their bud development.
The Schwazze is a great method only problem is its in a book for 500 dollars it is a joke. The owner of the facility i worked has it and we trained all our plant techs on it. I am going to be putting out tutorials for it for free on youtube. You can find the basic info on it most importantly the timings and what exactly your taking off. I can fill in the blanks
@LegacyMarketFarm, 200 light, 7000 plant grow??? Wow!
Thanks for the kind words and advice !
Temp swing is about 5-8 degrees. Humidity in there fluctuates very little unless I keep the tent open, the climbs right back up within a few hours.
