One two, one two, here we go,
Mimosa and Sherbet plugged to grow.
These are two stars to wish upon,
my wish is done, this is week one!

So it's the Sherbet Quine (in an extra diary) and the hopefully not so sensitive Mimosa doing a dance together. I am stoked!

Sherbet is one of my fave weeds to buy in a coffeeshop, I am stoked to finally have it in my grow room.
Mimosa has been calling me from the first day I was browsing strain descriptions. I was visioning myself drinking coffe in the morning, enjoying a mimosa spliff, before I go for a 10km run, then write some cool stuff and become famous & rich. Just because of Mimosa. :)
Let's just start easy.. I put the seeds in the plugs, ensured they stay moist & have a steady temperature of 25°C to sprout. I put mine in the oven with just the lights on, if I leave the door slightly open, I have a constant temperature of 25°C.
The plugs soaked 30-40ml of water each.. but I put some kitchen paper towel on the bottom of the jar, for an extra drainage.

DAY 1:
Mimosa there are you! :)
Potted her peat pellet into a 15L fabric pot with biobizz Lightmix + 50g RQS Easy Boost, watered her (4L) and put her under the lights.
Distance from LED lights for the first days will be 50cm and just only 30% power, with all switches off.
DAY 5:
I have to say the plugs really do a good job. Best thing for me is, the shell stays in the soil. It just gets stuck in the little hole.
Mimmy's head got stuck for a whole day, I drizzled two drops of lukewarm water on top of the seed. Being a "soft on the outside/ hard on the inside"-type of girl, she pulled it off. The seed popped after 24h, so 48h fighting with the slimy shell left a tiny necrotic spot on her cotyledon and the tips of the new leaves. She is super motivated tho. :) Today 5cm and looking fierce!
Lights are at 60cm distance and 50%. First watering with the RQS Grow Booster Tabs will be in 5-10 days I think.. ;)

She's growing like she should. I love her already.
Still watered her 0.5L water with Enhancer today, forgot to add to the soil. :) Pot was quite heavy.
Lights are at 55% approx.
DAY 12
Needed to water, so she got her first Booster Tab alongside Easy Plus Micronutrients, dissolved in lukewarm water + added compost tea.
The tabs dissolved well, now let's see what they can do! 🚬
I also added nematodes for fungus gnats, saw some of them bloody critters flying around. :argh:

Mimmy looks good, she has the perfect color, I am waiting for node 5 to show up, because I would love to top her. :)
Growing roughly 1cm per day, so I guess the overall circumstances are ok.
Watering won't be necessary this week, I guess.

Watered 4L of just plain water. :) I need to water a bit earlier because of the nematodes, they need some humidity to survive. Doing a great job as well! 🐛
Mimmy did her first LST, she liked it a lot! ;) I poked the wire into the soil, it's not for long as they grow so fast now.
Topping.. Idk yet.. Mimmy looks quite perfect, I don't want to slow her down too much..
This is my first try with autoflowers, so I just have to go with my guts. ;)

Watered Mimmy with 1/2 Bloom Booster Tablet and I will add enzymes once per week now. Keeps the roots clean and helps get some trash out. ;)
Mimmy has a dense canopy, I removed sooo many leaves already.
I wish I had more of the Bloom Booster tablets, really. So far, I think the feeding strategy is cool. You get the pH of your water right plus you feed extra PK, both will help greatly with P uptake in the flowering stage. A high pH will slow down P uptake.
I would use smaller pots with 1/3 of the recommended amount of pellets to start with, and then re-pot to larger containers with the rest 2/3 of the pellets.
They do a great job!
I will figure out something to keep on feeding Mimmy, this girl isn't ready for a diet at all! :)

The grow was so easy, I had an eye on humidity and ventilation all the time.
Watering every 4 days all the way through, and defoliating a lot.
Leaving me with a yet unknown amount of very nice weed. :)
Harvesting went fast, wet trimmed because of the humidity here. Took only 1 hour.
After I looked into the box this morning and found the main kola rotted away, I just couldn't wait any longer.
Humidity levels are high at the moment, there isn't much I can do about it, I get it from 85% to 60%, that's it. :)
I removed all small shoots so I just had some major kolas to work on.
I want more of those seeds!!1 😍😏
