Welcome to my new outdoor diary!
This one will be about the velvet moon by greenhouse seeds!
I’ll keep them indoor for the next one and a half month, then they’ll be placed outdoors.
Welcome to the third week of vegetation for my velvet moon!
My plants were infected with thripse last week, so I have them some pesticide and now they’re gone, but that leaves some damages on some leaves.
I also started fertilising them with a low EC of 1.0-1.1, for beginning.
See you next week ✌️
Welcome to my velvet moon diary!
I didn’t update these ones for quite a long time as it was quite messy with them.
However they got placed outdoors now and will stay there for a few more weeks.
Actually I wanted to grow these ones outdoor but I’ll place them indoor after my Hawaiian snow is finished, because I dont have the time to put them in the dark everyday at 5pm in order to making them flower…
Velvet moon is doing great.
Thriving in the heat she’s experiencing right now, she gets darkened every day at 5pm in order to make introduce the flowering stage.
2nd week of flowering now!
She’s the smallest one in my outdoor grow, so I’m quite interested in the yield she’s going to give me in about 8 weeks.
See you soon!
Velvet moon is superb.
Both in her appeal and her smell she’s just gorgeous.
Smell is like gelato and the appeal is super frosty with small, but tight buds. As well she seems to finish way faster than for example the lost Pearl.
See you next week!
Velvet moon got a bit of budrot but the heat killed the fungi and she’s ripening really nicely now.
Headbuds we’re cut off because they were a little faster than the rest.
Super frosty, pretty much that level like kings juice but with a way more gelato-like smell!
As you can see on the pictures, velvet moon got a lot of damage from budrot, which is really sad because the yield wouldn’t have been that big even though if she wasn’t infected by budrot.
But still it’s going to be a certain amount of frosty, food looking purple buds so I’m happy!
She should be ready at the end of the week or early next week.
See you soon!
Welcome to the harvest report on my velvet moon!
Growing her was pretty easy, she stayed small all the time and all of her flowerstands were produced in stretching.
During her flowering period she developed a beautiful purple colour without being exposed to colder temperatures.
That kind of colour is also a great factor if you want to grow your plants stealth because it’s way darker and not so easy to identify.
I harvested her after 8 weeks of flowering and she yielded me 42 grams, which is a moderate amount regarding the outstanding quality of trichomes.
EFFECT:
The effect hits quite slow and in waves, but it’s a great high.
The effect is enhancing your appetite and gives a pretty strong headhigh which is really cool as a nighttime smoke.
Perfect to enjoy with friends, as the taste is amazingly creamy and smooth!
I can only recommend this strain as bag appeal, growing difficulty and flowering cycle were really easy to handle!
That’s it from my velvet moon diary, hope to see you soon ✌️
