xmackobox Well, I present to you the new grow, 5 varieties from GB Strains brought to you by GB The Green Brand.
They are Tropicanna Cookies, Apple Fritter, Banana Wafflez, Grand Daddy Purple, and Miracle Alien Cookies.
We'll be transplanting them, and the final pot will be 7L. I'm going to use Gramoflor soil, specifically the Gramomed, which is less compact, more aerated, and has beneficial fungi.
So far, we've been at it for about 16 hours since we started germinating, and I'll soon update the status :D
04/05/22 -- Status update:
Well, I've uploaded more photos and I'll explain:
The biggest ones started germinating on 03/22/22, and the smaller ones a week later, on 03/29/22.
The GDP (Grand Daddy Purple) didn't sprout, and I discarded them. I think they got colder than the others, and that was my mistake.

For the biggest ones, I'm starting to count the first week of growth from this Monday, 04/11/22, and in a maximum of 2 weeks, we'll transplant to the final 7L pots.

For now, in 1L pots watered with about 300ml every 2 days, in a few days we'll move to the final 7L pot.

xmackobox Well, today Monday 02/05/22 we start the 4th week for the big ones. I recently topped the apical bud to stop vertical growth and pruned the lower branches to water better and prevent the plant from directing energy to those lower buds.
I’ve placed the big ones outside and the little ones inside so they can get better light quality and help them catch up to their older sisters.
The little ones are starting their 2nd week of growth; they have a less intense green, more pale because I haven’t fed them well, they’ve been lacking nutrients but that’s being fixed now :D Tonight it’s time for another watering.

xmackobox Well, we are starting the 5th week of growth for the big ones and the 3rd week for the little ones. By the end of this week, we will switch them to 12/12 so they can recover from the massive defoliation and lower pruning.
Just a reminder that there are 20 plants, and between the first 10 and the second 10, there are 15 days of life.
I've removed all the large leaves that cover the little bud branches coming from below. I've been applying this technique for 3 grows now, and I'm producing more bud. I also remove leaves that might interfere with or bother bud formations on lateral branches.
The last defoliation will be done in the 2nd or 3rd week of flowering.

xmackobox Well, on Sunday 15/05/22, I did some defoliation at 66 days since germination. Tonight, Monday, I'm switching them to 12/12 and let them start flowering. I think they're robust and strong for the flowering stage.

I think we're going to see good things here :D
There are 10 Tropicanna Cookies at 48 days since germination, and 5 MAC, 4 Banana Wafflez, and 1 Apple Fritter at 67 days since germination.
Tonight, Monday 16/05/22, I'm switching them to 12/12.

xmackobox Well, we’re starting the 3rd week of flowering. I’ve already added the Candy Boom and the Super Boom.
The plants are asking for another defoliation, and I’ll do it this week, not sure if one night live or calmly over the weekend. But yes, they need another defoliation to remove those big leaves that are blocking the light from the bud formations.
I also need to rearrange the pots to put the bigger ones on the outer edge and the smaller ones in the center of the grow.
Finally, once the defoliation is done, I’ll put the scrog net up as a support, as a “guide” for the plants.

xmackobox Well, the heat has arrived and with it, the last defoliation and lower pruning. I've removed all those lower buds that aren't going to produce anything and I've also cut leaves that were blocking the formation of satellite buds.
I've set the air conditioning to run at night for just a few hours from 9:00 PM to 11:30 PM to keep it below 28º.
There are no more defoliations or lower prunings left. Now we let them be without any stress so they can bloom comfortably and dedicate all their energy to that.
We're in the 5th week of flowering. A while back, I got mixed up posting the entries here and if you notice, I think week 10 is missing. That's why :D

I'm still scared of over-fertilizing because I have a history of going overboard with nutrients. But tonight I'm planning to give a "full spectrum" watering xD
Now we just have to wait for the buds to finish forming and fatten up. I think we have about 3 weeks left until harvest... we'll see :D

xmackobox Well, we’re starting the 7th week of flowering, the buds keep fattening up, some plants are starting to mature, and soon I’ll use the magnifying glass to check the trichomes. You know I like to cut when they’re milky and not amber.
I estimate they have about 2 weeks of watering with nutrients left and 2 more weeks of just water for root flushing. But we’ll see how it goes as the days pass.
We’ve been at it for 108 days since germination started, this grow is going to take a bit longer because we had to wait to switch to flowering since there are 10 plants with a 15-day difference, which means some have 2 weeks more growth than the rest. If I had done everything correctly 100%, we would already be at the root flushing stage this week.
We keep learning, and that’s a constant in life. Don’t close yourself off to what you know and open up to what you don’t know :D

xmackobox Finally arriving, I’m going to start cutting all of this from next week at the end. I’m going to give them one last watering with nutrients and the rest just with water to wash the roots.
The 10 Tropicanna Cookies are 15 days younger than the rest because I started germinating them 15 days late, just hehe. The others, the 4 M.A.C., the 5 Bannana Wafflez, and the Apple Friter have been germinating for 114 days, and we’re in the 8th week of flowering with 2 days gone.
There are plants that I would start washing already and cut in 10 days, and there are others that I would keep feeding to the max... hahahaha we’ll see and I’ll keep showing everything here :D
The biggest stress I’m facing is the heat. They’ve been suffering a lot from the heat for the last 2 months, but it is what it is xd.
After this grow, I’m taking a break until September or late September, we’ll see.

xmackobox Well, we are in the 9th week of flowering, it's been 121 days since germination started, and I'm already cleaning the roots. Soon I'll start cutting the most mature ones...
You can already see less green leaves, more yellowish ones. It's normal; I've been watering with pure, clean water for 3 days now.
The Apple Fritter is at the back in the center, and I didn't manage to take pictures of it, but it's really beautiful, super dark with tight, hard buds. It's not as big as the others.
Not much more to say, reaching the end of the grow, I just need to finish watering with water only, cut, put to dry, and cure.
This time I really want to manicure everything well; lately, I was skipping cutting little leaves because it was tedious, but I understand the importance of doing it. Seeing a nice clean bud is a whole different vibe.

Hey buddy👊 Putting the panels 1m away from the plants will really help them recover their green, the LEDs are pretty harsh on them. In my 120 tent, I start them at 1.30m and 200w and they do great👌 Just a little advice, okay!!😉 You know, anyone can give advice😅
