Topped in week 3...also dealing with leaf issue. I suspect over watering. Been a couple weeks...think gonna take time to recover fully. Had to grow this strain again. Great taste and was a solid grower. I need a better flush this time around for a great product.

Laid her down low and flat. Probly gonna defoliate this week. Ive been abrehensive because the leaves have been weird for a while now. Non the less she keeps growing. Started adding calmag half dose every other watering. Showing small signs of deficency. Not sure how long i plan to veg...kinda waiting for the leaf issue to clear up. Maybe couple more weeks...we'll see. Happy growing everybody

Looks alot better this week. 21 inches tall and 3 1/2 across 😯 good thing i have extra room cause these strains stretched decent last run. This lady is pretty thick and bushy even after a good defoliation. Excited to see her in flower. Lets hope all goes well this week and possibly flip to flower next week. This is long veg for me. Happy growing people🤘

She is stretching really good. Roots have been taking water very well last couple weeks and she has got her green back mostly. Im very excited about this plant. Cant wait to see after the stretch. With my climate and grow bag combo...my watering schedule is every 2 days. I give less water more frequently. Ive been told this is wrong watering practice but its what they want. If i water til 10% runoff my plants take a whole day to perk up. Less water more often seems to be the way to go here. Thanks and happy growing

This plant is very thick branched and good node distance. I love how she grows. Started giving half veg and half bloom nutes at quater strength. Ill continue that until the stretch is over. Going to give defoliation later this week. Probly wont defoliate as heavy as usual but its getting pretty thick in the middle🙂 Happy growing

Everything looking good😀 this girl is pretty impressive. Buds are coming in nice and look to stack nice in coming weeks. Defoliated dead stuff and some middle. Pulled outside branches down and out just a little to create better light in the middle. Im very happy with this one. Feeding half doses of big bloom and tiger bloom.Happy growing

Really like this strain for grow structure. Very fruity smell and very sticky. Love being part of Grow Diary community. Lots of good research and feedback. Fun and helpful. Will update with dry weight and smoke review. Im just glad I saved the girl. Nice results 😎 Smoke review: flush went good this time. Fruity hints with a chem dawg taste. Not my favorite taste but the high is energetic at first then very calming body high. Id say evening smoke. Dont think ill grow again

Nice canopy! Are you using gardening Velcro tape there? And, if so, how are you securing it to the grow bag? Looks like a great technique to avoid the scrog. Happy growing! 💚

Growin_itcommented3 years ago
@BigbudzMagee, I gave the Velcro a try. It works pretty good and it is real easy to use. Thank you for sharing! 💚

BigbudzMageecommented3 years ago
@Growin_it,i am using velcro tape. I secure it to itself up top and it sticks right to the pot. It is easier to me than scrog net. But i didnt expect to get her this big. Sometimes a branch will pull the velcro from the pot. Still i like it better cause i can still move my pots around. Thanks and good luck

Hey there friend. looking at your diary, Would you be alright with me offering some pointers? So cannabis plants LOVE heat and humidity. It is the buds that hate it. In veg we want to take advantage of this fact to help our plants grow along much quicker and more vigorously. In veg we can look for temps of 79-84 MAX with lights on & no more than 9 degrees less with lights off. If we allow for too much temperature swing between lights on and lights off while the plant is still growing vertically up to day 20 of flower, We will cause the plant to stretch ALOT which we do not want. So in veg & early flower, Keeping our temperature gaps nice and close between lights on and off is key. Utilizing humidity in our rooms during veg will also help out a lot with more rapid growth but we must introduce it properly. In our rooms we have our temperature and humidity set-points, But when we combine those 2 it forms a third set-point which is the most important & that is called VPD, Vapor pressure deficit. I strongly recommend every new grower or old grower who has not learned it yet, To study and understand it & implement it into your room, Logging your numbers daily. https://cerescann.com/importance-of-measuring-vpd/ For soil, We generally want to go for a PH of 6.1, If you check out this article bellow and the graph you will see 6.9 - 7 is less than optimal my friend, Lets focus on getting that dialed in to the optimal range now for flower. This website does a GREAT job of illustrating it with a nice graph & very good detailed explanation for soil. https://autoflowerseedshop.com/cannabis-ph-chart-guide/ As we briefly touched on before, During veg & early flower we want our temperature gap's nice and tight to avoid stretch. Why exactly our plants stretch in response to this is a genetic trigger being activated by the environmental stress essentially telling the plant the end of the season is closer than it really is. In veg & early flower the plant is still in its first stage of development which is to grow up wide and tall so when it produces seed, It can cast them out nicely. Remember, Whether we are growing our plants for seed or bud their genetic responses do not change as they gh sidedo not know any different. Once the plant has finished that first stage of growth by weeks 4-6 of flower with most strains, It is by day 20 of flower. Autoflowers you have to watch for it, But once the plant has finished this goal its new mission is to focus 100% on producing nice big flower clusters & to get very sticky so it can attract pollen to it successfully. So once that vertical growth is finished, We actually now want to begin to expose our plants to larger temperature swings between lights on and lights off. This will help activate that genetic response and allow us to draw out the most potential from the strain utilizing the plants genetic triggers to environmental stresses at the right times. We can also take this a step further with doing light deprivation in the last 2 weeks using less light to simulate cloud cover. Very cold feed temps on the last flush is very good too. If you do not have them already, Get yourself a good PAR meter & thermal laser temp gun to monitor your plant top temperatures & optimize how much light your plants are getting. We are currently in the middle of producing a very comprehensive tutorial series for everybody to learn from & understand how to grow the highest level craft cannabis all on their own. If this interests you please check out our youtube and subscribe. The first 2 episodes are out the next one is coming in a few days. If you should ever have any questions or need any help, Please feel free to follow my profile and shoot me a DM. I will gladly help you with the pull down & make sure you get the best quality harvest possible as it is the most important step of the entire process. Good luck my friend!

@BigbudzMagee, No problem man, Just follow my profile & DM me anytime! That's All I ask in return :) After retiring from managing big legacy grows I am now focusing on my own company of cannabis education & eventual craft cannabis production. Check out our youtube. It is linked off my main grow diaries profile, We are producing a series teaching everybody how to grow extremely high quality craft cannabis tomorrow the third episode comes out. Each series will progressively get more advanced it is basically like a class. Here is the link for you! I look forward to seeing you over there, Tell anyone who you might think might be interested & share the link.
