Had a lot of growth in the last couple of weeks. Just gave her 1st taste of stress training with some topping... Depending on how she grows I might top her a couple of times.
I recently reported her into her final 5 gallon home. I've been experimenting with fabric pots anywhere from 3 gallons to 7 gallons.
Her coloring is pretty good so far though I did accidentally water her too hard at 1 point and shifted her in the soil a bit. Thankfully as a weed she's not particularly worried about a small bump in the road.
I'm really excited to see how she grows but cause I can't predict it not knowing what kind of seed she is. As a new grower it's interesting to see the different ways they start off.
My very 1st grow was the Orange cookies earlier this year. Being a cautious sort and having enjoyed the Orange cookie plant I Order 2 of them. I also accidentally broke a limb off and ended up making a small clone that successfully brought in almost an ounce.
But then I started to go two new strains in the last month or so and they are both doing completely different things from each other and from the Orange cookies.
This week I've decided that I am going to top this girl a lot. I'm hoping to create a really good bushy plant since she seems like she's very bushy anyway. Learning from my past experiences I am trying to train her towards the areas in the pot that are less full.
Today I spent some time tying her down. I think I managed to get her pretty well spread out across the whole entire pot.
I also talked to her another 4 times. Every top that was looking pretty sturdy came off. I usually don't give nutrients at this point because the Fox soil is pretty hot, but I might make her a weak mix to help deal with all the cutting.
Still no idea exactly what kind of plant this is. One thing I can say is when I compare the 2 types of strains she's the small bushy strain.
I want to say that some strains lthat have varied shaped leaves are out. I'm not a 100% sure yet though because at this stage they can change shape pretty quickly. But she just doesn't have the funny looking shape of say critical banana smoothie. Nor does she have the tall stretch of the back to the future #2.
This girl is doing really well. She had a bad break but I taped her up and she never missed a stride. I topped her a few times but when I went for one more time I saw she had gone into flower already. While she responds well to topping, it's obvious that she's a little limited by the fact that as an auto she's going to flower when she's going to flower.
I think she's amazing. She's as gorgeous as any sidewalk or garden plant you might see.
