JKent19 Seeds popped like a champ. Been looking forward to this strain for a while, as purple weed is on my bucket list of grow achievements. Researched purple lemonade extensively and feel really confident this will be a great run! Decided to use my leftover 5 gallon pots, and am seriously considering a Scrog net this go! Either way should be fun and I am excited for the results!

JKent19 Well I certainly screwed up! This post is a week later than it should be due to my own major error. I got too excited and planted the sprouts too soon/ not deep enough. Waited 5 days and nothing so I germinated my last 2 seeds and once I planted them, they almost immediately popped through the soil. These were planted on 4/8, so a week after my ill-fated attempt. I would like to reiterate that the issue was all my fault, no reflection on the genetics, but these ones seem to be up and running so fingers crossed!

JKent19 Nothing earth shattering this week. Had the typical 3-4 days of very limited growth above the soil while hopefully the roots develop. Last couple of days I have seen a lot of growth above ground, so fingers crossed next update should be much better.

JKent19 Today is #18 from when I planted them, pretty pleased with the progress so far. The timing is still a little wonky due to my initial error, but for being a little over 2 and a half weeks, I think they're looking pretty good. I started giving them Big Bloom at the beginning of week, and did a molasses feed today. Will probably start the veg nutrients sometime later this week. Since spring is definitely here, I've had to adapt and only use my heater at night, unlike the last grow where I had to keep it outside of the intake vents constantly. Pretty soon, I will put it away until the fall. I recently bought a 2nd fan, which seems to be helping keep the temp down during the day. I have kept a 2nd humidifier going the whole time, and have been much more successful in keeping the humidity up this grow. I think that has made a big difference this run, as it seems like the seedlings are much sturdier this grow. I will probably keep running the 2nd humidifier until mid-veg then go down to one. As always I appreciate everyone who takes the time to check out my posts, happy growing ✌️

JKent19 EXCITING news, I have accepted a position with the @buildasoil family and, and starting my next grow will be exclusively using our products! My plants are likely babies, so I will not be culling them, but starting next grow, things will be completely different. I was going to wait a few more days to post this, but this news is so awesome. I can't say enough good things about the company, and am so thankful to be with a company that not only tolerates my love of growing cannabis, but encourages it. Now to the actual update, today is 22 from soil, so just a little over 3 weeks. They have definitely hit the growth stage and are really starting to come into their own. Going to do my first lst sometime within the next couple of days. Recently gave them their first round of veg nutrients, and they seemed to respond really well. They are definitely sturdy plants, nobody would accuse them of being leggy. Looking forward to watching them develop further, but the rest of the grow will be tough as I wait to transition to buildasoil product.

JKent19 Today is day 32 from when they were placed in soil. Per usual, one is doing fantastic while the other is struggling a bit. I REALLY hope it's not root rot ( have massive curling at the leaf tips), but I reconfigured the fan to give that plant more airflow so hopefully it helps. Overall, they are both about the same size though, and I recently did major lst work on them. I didn't realize how many potential bud sites have popped up already, the right plant has potential for some major weight! Overall, I'd say a lot of growth happened this week. Hoping the problem plant will come around and I can have 2 healthy looking plants to watch over the next couple of months!

JKent19 I waited a while to post so I could make this diary a little more accurate in terms of time frame. Today is day 40, and I'm super happy with the progress! Everyone at my work told me how great Rootwise is, so I've decided to try it. So far, I have been very pleased by the results, but time will tell! I don't want to jinx myself, but I think the issue that was plaguing the left plant has been fixed, but the leaves that had already curled are still that way. The right plant is just a beast, so excited to watch her keep doing her thing. I don't know if I've ever had this many bud sites on a plant, she's really beautiful. The buds are already turning purple, so I have a feeling in one or two weeks she's going to be amazing once the buds really start to take off.

JKent19 Purple galore! I am really excited about this strain, can't wait to see the final product! I have used a couple of BuildASoil products, and they have both seemed to help tremendously. Today is day 49 from seed, so about another month and they should be ready to go. I hope so, because I'm going on vacation in July so they have to be done by then. Overall, extremely happy with this grow, just waiting patiently for the results.

JKent19 Well, purple lemonade is definitely living up to its name. Just a beautiful, fun strain to watch. The smaller plant's buds are developing much faster than larger one, but I'm assuming that's because the larger has so many more buds to focus energy on. Strongly considering thinning her out a but this weekend, so she can put more effort into bud development in the main sites. She's really growing fast though, and I think my BuildASoil products have had a major effect on the smell of the plants.
This grow will be unique for me in another way, I have to harvest by the 1st of July in order to have time to sufficiently dry my crop before going on vacation. Usually, I let the plants tell me when they are ready, but this time I am going to have to dictate when they're chopped unfortunately. So stay tuned, the 26 day countdown is on!

JKent19 Great week! Buds are fattening up even better than I'd hoped. Some hairs are starting to turn red, and the buds are covered in a thick layer of trichomes! I have no choice but to harvest July 1st, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they will ripen enough by then. I will start my flush/harvest prep 10 days in advance, so in about 10 days. I am really looking forward to this one, can't wait for purple lemonade to be my daily smoke!

JKent19 Turning the lights off today, will chop on Monday! Going to harvest a few days sooner than I thought, but that's a really good thing. Gave the girls their final haircut today, super exited to see how it turns out. They smell great, and have a ton of buds that are obviously solid purple. Work has had me pretty busy, so I haven't devoted as much time during the final couple of weeks as I normally would, but they held up great. Will post the second to last update when I trim, which should be in about 10 days.
