Got to agree with @Organoman unless you have been giving this plant next to no light and this is why it is so stunted. Good Luck!

Are you sure you want to keep such a slow growing plant as a mother plant? This plant would be ok for 3 weeks old, but it is 6 weeks old.............

this one is saturated with light. a friend is growing one also and it is half the size. the stem is about 3/4 of an inch thick and the branches are like tree branches. from what i hear they DON"T stretch out with a lot of light but grow sideways which is what im thinkin. idk.

The light has nothing to do with which way the plant grows... If you want yours to be wide, I'd start doing some LST which essentially tells the plant stems where you want them to go... There are many ways of doing this but the goal is to force a stem out away from the main stalk. Do this gently (it's call LOW STRESS training)... this will open up your plant and help it to produce a lot more buds ... with my Tangerine Dream, I had a lot of buds that were equal in size to the main cola! You can LST all the way up to about 2-3 weeks before harvest if necessary (I found it necessary as that strain wanted to grow WAY past the top of my tent). When you LST, you'll find the stem turning up toward the light in short order and as it grows, you may want to do further LST on the same stem... And btw, I see you started another grow question a couple of weeks ago... remember always to choose an answer you like - it helps other growers with similar questions get the answers they're looking for without having to ask the same question again.. Good luck with your grow! She looks very happy and I think will respond really REALLY well to some LST....
